Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges.  This week’s inspiration challenge is a fruity birthday cake!  Doesn’t it look yummy!

SIMPLY SPARKLING

Again…I have almost no birthday cakes (or cupcakes) in my stamp supplies!  So, I decided to focus on the fruit on this cake.  I used the strawberry from Simply Sparkling Bundle to make my card.  (Sorry…it appears that the Simply Sparkling stamp set is now sold out…the dies are still available.  You could recreate this card with the strawberry detail dies instead of the stamped ones!)

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Thick Basic White cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
  • I cut a 4 x 5-1/4 layer of pink check from the Lily Pond Lane 6×6 Designer Paper Pack and added it to the front.
  • A coordinating 1-1/4 x 5-1/4 piece of Lily Pond Lane DSP was added across the DSP.
  • I stamped five strawberries from Simply Sparkling stamp set with Memento Black Ink on Basic White and colored with Dark Pretty in Pink and Poppy Parade Combo Stampin’ Blends and Garden Green Marker for the tops.
  • I also stamped four double leaves from Flowers of Beauty stamp set with Memento Black Ink.  I colored with Light Shaded Spruce and Light Old Olive Stampin’ Blends.
  • All were cut with the coordinating dies and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Then I cut Happy Birthday with the Wanted To Say Dies from Pretty Peacock cardstock and added to the bottom corner.
  • A trio of peacock Adhesive Backed Sequins Trio were added to the background.

Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges.  This week’s inspiration challenge is a pretty, lacy window panel!

FLOWERS OF BEAUTY

I kind of struggled with this inspiration piece.  I did know I wanted to use the Eyelet Embossing Folder, though!  And white on white seemed appropriate!  It’s funny…Azure Afternoon was one of the colors that initially I thought I’d use a LOT, but I’ve found that I’ve probably only used it a handful of time since they introduced the new colors last year!

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Thick Basic White cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
  • Next, I embossed a 3-3/4 x 5 piece of Basic White cardstock with the Eyelet Embossing Folder and added it on top.
  • Then I added a 1 x 3-1/2 strip of Lighter Than Air DSP (Online Exclusive) towards the bottom with the ends cut at an angle.
  • I stamped the stem and outline stems from Flowers of Beauty on Basic White cardstock with Shaded Spruce Ink and cut with the Flowers of Beauty Dies.
  • And I stamped the flowers on Basic White cardstock with stamped off Azure Afternoon Ink and the centers full strength.  They were cut with the Flowers of Beauty Dies and adhered to the stems.  I popped them up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • The greeting from Unbounded Love Stamp Set was stamped with Azure Afternoon Ink on 1/2 x 2-1/2 strip of Balmy Blue cardstock and popped up on the DSP.
  • Finally, I added a trio of blue In Color Opaque Sparkle Dots to the background.

Happy birthday to me!  Wow, these years really go by fast, don’t they?

It’s Thursday and you know that means it is time for a Create with Stamping Friends Thursday Challenge. It’s a color challenge this week.  I don’t know if I would have ever put these colors together on my own, but they really work!

FLOWERS OF BEAUTY

I’ve used the Flowers of Beauty Dies only on this card, so it came together VERY easily.

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Bubble Bath cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded to form the base card.
  • A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Pebbled Path cardstock was added on top.
  • The 2-1/2 x 4 marbled print from Winter Meadow 12×12 Designer Paper (Online Exclusive) was added across the front.
  • The leaf branch was cut Basic White cardstock and the flower stalk from Shy Shamrock cardstock using the Flowers of Beauty Dies and added to the front.
  • The flowers were cut with the dies from Bubble Bath cardstock and the small flower layered over the larger one, then curled them up.  They were added with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to the flower stalk.
  • Some Iridescent Pearls were added to the center of the flowers and a trio in the background.
  • The greeting from Unbounded Love was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Pebbled Path cardstock, then cut with the Unbounded Love label die and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

It’s Thursday and you know that means it is time for a Create with Stamping Friends Thursday Challenge. Love this awesome color combination using two of the new In Colors!

FLOWERS OF BEAUTY

I did some clusters of flowers for today’s card using the Flowers of Beauty Bundle!

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Pretty in Pink cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded to form the base card.
  • A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Petunia Pop cardstock was added on top.
  • The 3-3/4 x 5 layer of Basic White cardstock was stamped with the Flowers of Beauty outline images in Petunia Pop Ink and the insides with Pretty in Pink Ink in the upper left and lower right corners.  The leaves were stamped full strength Soft Sea Foam Ink and the insides with stamped off Soft Sea Foam Ink.
  • Two extra large and small flowers were stamped on scrap Basic White, along with two leaves.  They were cut with the Dies and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • The greeting from Simply Said stamp set was stamped with Memento Black Ink in the background.
  • A trio of pink In Color Shimmer Gems were added to the background.

Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges.  This week’s inspiration challenge is a colorful coverlet for the bed!

FLOWERS OF BEAUTY

I must admit…this one stumped me a little.  I didn’t have a stamp set with this type of image that I could easily grab.  So I went with the colors, but we really don’t have that bright pink color anymore (the retired Polished Pink would have been good I think!)  So I came as close to the color combination as I could.  Looking back, I wished I would have stamped color on color instead of color on white, but I wasn’t going to redo it!  lol!

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Thick Basic White cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
  • A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic Black was added to the front.
  • The 3-3/4 x 5 layer of Melon Mambo cardstock embossed with the new So Swirly Embossing Folder and added to the front.
  • The Unbounded Love greeting was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White and cut with the Unbounded Love oval die and added to the front.
  • The large flowers were stamped and stamped off with Balmy Blue Ink, the centers and small flowers with Melon Mambo Ink, and the leaves with Lemon Lime Twist Ink.  All were cut with the Dies and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Some blue Glossy Dots Assortment were added to the center of the small flowers and the background.

Saturday Blog Hop – New In Colors 2024

It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop. This week our theme is “New In Colors 2024”.  Our Design Team will take their pick!  Which one is YOUR favorite?

FLOWERS OF BEAUTY & PETUNIA POP

Well, it really was a HARD choice this year…I LOVE all the new In Colors!!!  I know I’ll be using them a lot!  I think (right now) Petunia Pop is coming in as my very favorite!  It also goes well with so many of our existing colors!

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Petunia Pop cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
  • A 1-1/2 x 5-1/2 piece of Unbounded Beauty Designer Paper was added along the right side.
  • The 3-1/2 x 4-3/4 piece of Basic White was blended with Petunia Pop Ink across the center portion using the Blending Brush .
  • The branch from Flowers of Beauty Dies was cut from Basic Black cardstock and adhered on the right.
  • The Petunia Pop 3/8 Bordered Ribbon was wrapped around the Basic White and tied in a bow.  The panel was adhered to the front.
  • Celebrate from Unbounded Love Stamp Set was stamped with Petunia Pop Ink on Basic White and cut with the label from Unbounded Love Dies.  It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Five small flowers were cut from Petunia Pop cardstock with the Die and added to the branch and next to the greeting.
  • Some In Color Shimmer Gems were added to the greeting flower and the background.
