Our Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip Achievers get together each month for a Blog Hop! I’m blessed with great customers and downline who helped me earn the next trip in 2022!  Unfortunately, due to Covid concerns, they have cancelled the actual cruise…however, I know Stampin’ Up! will have some fun surprises for us that week!  Our theme this month is ANYTHING CURRENT!

ANGELS OF PEACE

I made a dozen or so of this card for my mom to mail out for her Christmas cards this year!  I love the soft colors in the Whimsy & Wonder Designer Paper and thought the angel would be a perfect fit!

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Soft Succulent cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
  • A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock was stamped in the center with the Angels of Peace in Memento Black Ink.
  • She was colored with Soft Succulent, Petal Pink, So Saffron, Ivory and Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends.
  • Two 2/3 x 5-1/4 pieces of Whimsy & Wonder Designer Paper were added on each side, then added to the front of the base card.
  • The greeting from Angels of Peace was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Blushing Bride cardstock, then punched with the Double Oval Punch and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Two Rhinestone Jewels were added next to the greeting.

April 2021 Maui Achievers Blog Hop

Our Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip Achievers get together each month for a Blog Hop! I’m blessed with great customers and downline who helped me achieve both Maui trips that will be held in May 2021!  I’m SO excited to go!   April’s blog hop theme is ANYTHING CURRENT!

HAND-PENNED PETALS

I was SO excited to see this Hand-Penned Petals bundle in the new Annual Catalog!  I love the hand-drawn look with watercoloring accents!  The designer paper is gorgeous!  I set out to recreate it with my stamping!

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Pool Party cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
  • The Hand-Penned DSP is 3 x 5-1/2 and added to the left side.
  • Two 1/4 x 5-1/5 pieces of Misty Moonlight cardstock were added to the DSP.
  • A 2-1/2 x 3-1/2 piece of Blushing Bride cardstock was added on top.
  • The large floral bunch was stamped with Memento Black Ink on a 2-3/4 x 3-1/2 piece of Basic White, then colored with the “fill” flowers in Blushing Bride, Pool Party and So Saffron Inks and the leaves with Misty Moonlight Ink.  I stamped everything off for a more subtle, pastel look.  It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • The greeting was stamped on So Saffron cardstock and punched with the Duo Oval Punch.  It was adhered to the front.
  • A trio of Genial Gems were added to the centers and under the greeting.

February 2021 Maui Achievers Blog Hop

Our Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip Achievers get together each month for a Blog Hop! I’m blessed with great customers and downline who helped me achieve both Maui trips that will be held in May 2021 (hopefully!)   February’s blog hop theme is ANYTHING CURRENT!  I love that they brought back the Hey Chick stamp set AND now have coordinating dies!

HEY CHICK

 

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Thick Basic White cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
  • A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Real Red was added to the front.
  • Next a 1-3/4 x 5-1/4 piece of Bumblebee Cardstock was added to the right side.
  • A 1-1/2 x 4 piece of True Love Designer Paper was added to the bottom.
  • A 2-1/2 x 4 piece of Crumb Cake cardstock was sponged along the bottom and sides with Cinnamon Cider Ink.
  • The hen house was cut from Cinnamon Cider cardstock with the Chick Dies and sponged with Cinnamon Cider Ink.  It was added to the background.
  • Two corn stalks were cut from Garden Green with the Chick dies, then added to the front.
  • The hen and chick were stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock, then colored with Mango Melody, Crumb Cake, Light Poppy Parade and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends, then cut with the Chick Dies.  They were added on front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • The greeting from Hey Chick was stamped with Memento Black Ink and punched with the Oval Punch.  It was sponged with Cinnamon Cider Ink along the edges.

September Grand Achievers Blog Hop

Woohoo!  It’s time for the Grand Vacation Achievers Blog Hop where you get inspiration from ALL around the WORLD!  These gals have some MAJOR talent, so hop on and take the tour!  I’m honored to be among them!  Our theme this month is Remember to Give Thanks!  Well, Stampin’ Up! certainly has a LOT of thank you greetings in the main catalog!  However, I chose to use one of my brand new sets, Lighthearted Leaves, for mine.  It has a beautiful Thanksgiving greeting in it.  And…since we are now into the fall season in the United States, it is appropriate, don’t you think?

 

I took my inspiration from my bedspread…of all things!  I knew that sometime this fall I wanted to make a card using leaves and these colors…they are SO calming.  My walls are Pool Party with one accent wall done in Chocolate Chip.

And here’s my card using Stampin’ Up!’s Lighthearted Leaves from the Holiday Catalog!  I think I’ll make a few more and switch out the greeting to birthday…we have so many birthdays in September and October in our family!

Here are the details to recreate this card.

  • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Thick Whisper White, folded in half.
  • The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Chocolate Chip is embossed with the Woodlands folder.  At the bottom is a 1-1/4 x 4 strip of Whisper White stamped with the greeting in Chocolate Chip ink.
  • Gold Cording is wrapped around three times and hides the seam, then the Chocolate Chip layer is added to the base card.
  • The Lighthearted Leaves images were stamped with Chocolate Chip Ink on Pool Party, Mint Macaron and Tip Top Taupe, then cut with the Leaflets Framelits.  They are added to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • A little more Gold Cording is tied in a bow and added to the stem of the smaller leaf.

I debated back and forth on whether to color the leaves a little more…then decided to let them be very clean and simple…like the inspiration bedspread!
