Saturday Blog Hop – “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road”

Happy Saturday! It’s time for another Saturday Blog Hop! We are continuing with the song themes this week with “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road” by Elton John! Enjoy our cards with predominantly yellow colors! I went one step further with the theme and used RETIRING products on mine…Bubble Over, Lemon Zest and the Wood Crate Framelits! Saying goodbye to all of these! There are nothing like them in the new catalog, so make sure to place your order with me to get them NOW!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Pineapple Punch cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Crumb Cake cardstock was stamped with the sprinkles stamp from Waterfront (I know! I’ve been using this a LOT!) It was then embossed with the Subtles Embossing Folder.
The Wood Crate was cut from the Wood Textures Designer Paper using the Framelit and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The smaller bottles in Bubble Over were stamped with Pineapple Punch Ink on Whisper White, then cut with the Bottles & Bubbles Framelits. The lids cut from Silver Metallic Paper. They were tucked down in the crate.
For You from Bubble Over was stamped with Granny Apple Green Ink on Whisper White and cut with the Bottles & Bubbles Framelits, then added to the center bottom with a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional.
The lemon from Lemon Zest stamp set was stamped with Pineapple Punch Ink on Whisper White and cut in half, then added to the crate with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Two leaves from Lemon Zest were stamped with Granny Apple Green, cut out and added under the lemon slice with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The yellow dots from Best Route Enamel Dots were added to the background.

Saturday Blog Hop – Cards that Move

Happy Saturday! It’s time for another Saturday Blog Hop! Our theme is our “Cards that Move”. Everyone seems to like interactive cards, I know my grandkids do! This week you’ll get some inspiration from our Design Team with cards that move. For my card, I used two sets that will be retiring, Coffee Café and Lemon Zest. There really are nothing like them in the new catalog, so make sure to order them NOW before they are gone!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Pineapple Punch cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Whisper White cardstock was added on top.
A 3-1/2 x 4 panel of Best Route Designer Paper was added to the Whisper White layer, with a 2 x 4 piece of Mango Melody cardstock on the top of it.
A 1/4 x 4 strip of Basic Black cardstock was added on top.
The glass, straw and ice cubes from Coffee Café were stamped with Memento Black Ink on Whisper White cardstock, then colored with the Pineapple Punch Stampin’ Blends. They were cut with the Coffee Cup Framelits and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The greeting was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Whisper White cardstock, then punched with the Lemon Builder Punch and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Two lemon slices were stamped with Pineapple Punch Ink on Whisper White cardstock and punched with a 1-3/4 Circle Punch. One slice was cut in half and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

INSIDE:

The Whisper White panel inside is 5-1/4 x 10. With the 10″ at the top, score at 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8. Fold on the score lines as shown.
Stamp the lemon slice with Pineapple Punch Ink in both corners.
Stamp two lemons with Pineapple Punch Ink on scrap Whisper White cardstock and punch with the Lemon Builder Punch.
Stamp four leaves with Granny Apple Green Ink on Whisper White, punch with the Lemon Builder Punch.
Add the two lemons to the first and third panels with Stampin’ Dimensionals, making sure they fit inside the card.
Stamp the greeting on the second slice already made with Memento Black Ink and add to the center panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Fold carefully to close making sure everything is tucked inside the card.

CCMC468 Lemon Zest

After seeing SO many cute cards done with the Lemon Zest and punch, I decided that I needed to buy it! I’ve used it on my Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge card this week! It’s a fun sketch challenge!

Here’s my card:

Here are the details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Wild Wasabi Cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
On the 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Whisper White, the lemon slice was stamped randomly in the background with Daffodil Delight Ink.
Two squares were cut from the Pick A Pattern DSP (2-1/4 and 2″ squares) and added diagonally to the front.
A 3/4 x 4-1/2 strip of Wild Wasabi cardstock was stamped with the greeting in Tuxedo Black Ink, then added across the front.
The lemon and lemon slice were stamped with Daffodil Delight Ink on Whisper White, the leaves with Wild Wasabi Ink. (I must admit I forgot to use the punch…I hand cut them out! lol!) They were added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Two yellow Glitter Dots were added to the DSP for a little sparkle!
