Love You More again

I can't resist Stampin' Up!'s Valentine stamp set, Love You More!  Some day Carter will be old enough for me to help him make Valentines for his school friends!  lol!  This set is perfect!

I had to use Fresh Prints again…I just love the colors for Valentines and the patterns are so perfect!  I can't believe how much I've used of this paper stack already!  Of course, we are featuring it in our Create with Connie and Mary Valentine Mini Collection, so I used some of it on my projects for it, too!

Here are the details for this card:

  1. The base is 4 1/4 x 11 Coastal Cabana folded in half.
  2. The Real Red layer is 3-3/4  x 5.
  3. Crumb Cake was cut 3-5/8 x 4-7/8 and I added 3/8" strips of the stripe pattern in Fresh Prints Paper Stack across the top.
  4. I also cut a Label Framelit from the red print in Fresh Prints.
  5. The globe from Love You More was stamped with Coastal Cabana ink on Whisper White and cut out, then placed on the Label Framelit with Stampin' Dimensionals.
  6. I used the Owl Punch for the small heart with Red Glimmer Paper.
  7. I inked up the greeting with Real Red Marker, then stamped below the globe.  I thought it looked a little plain, so I added some Chevron Punch pieces from Coastal Cabana surrounding the greeting!

CCMC281 Love You More

OH…again!  I couldn't resist using this CUTE little set, Love You More.  I had worked ahead and originally had a Snow Day card to show off today, but since we're advertising Create with Connie and Mary's Valentine Special Collection this week, I changed it out to this card!  It's a Create with Connie and Mary sketch challenge this week!  Hope you play along!

I love this bright and cheerful print in Fresh Prints Designer Paper Stack:

  1. The base is 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 Soft Sky cardstock, folded in half.
  2. I cut a 3 x 5 1/2 strip of Fresh Prints Designer Paper and layered it on a 3 1/4 x 5 1/2 piece of Real Red cardstock.
  3. I cut a Floral Frame Framelit from Real Red and placed it on top.
  4. I used the reverse side of the Chevron Natural Ribbon across the front of the print and adhered the ends in the back.
  5. I stamped the world image in Crumb Cake ink on Whisper White and cut with the 1 3/4 Circle Framelit.  Then I added it to a 2" Circle Framelit and popped it up in the center of the Floral Frame.
  6. I used the greeting on a strip of Whisper White and tucked it in the side of the circles.
  7. AND, I used the little heart on the Owl Punch to punch a Red Glimmer heart for the world!

Love You More

SOOOOO exciting to get new products in the mail, but frustrating when you don't get to play with them sooner!  I love the Whole Lot of Love ensemble that Stampin' Up! put out (available NOW to purchase!).  This little bird in Love You More stamp set especially caught my eye!

Here's what I did:

The details:

  1. The base is 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 of Real Red folded in half.
  2. I cut a 2 3/4 x 4 panel of Whisper White and stamped the bird image with Coastal Cabana, Crumb Cake and Real Red Stampin' Write Markers towards the right side.
  3. I layered it on 3 x 4 1/4 panel of Real Red cardstock.
  4. I embossed a 5 1/4 x 4 panel of Coastal Cabana with the new Decorative Dots folder (available as a SAB selection in late January!)
  5. I cut a 2 x 4 strip of Fresh Prints Designer Paper Stack and layered it on top, then placed the stamped panel on top.
  6. I added a 1/2" strip of Red Glimmer down the left side.
  7. Finally, I stamped the Made with Love circle with Real Red on Whisper White and punched with the 1" Circle punch and placed at the bottom of the Red Glimmer Paper!

Isn't it fun and cheerful?  I love it and love the colors in that Fresh Prints DSP Stack!
