Welcome to Create with Connie and Mary’s Creatively Simple Challenge! Each month Mary and I will pick a theme. This month the theme is Dies! So many awesome dies in the catalog that can almost make the card by themselves!
MINI POCKET ENVELOPE DIES
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 Basic Black cardstock.
- The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Lemon Lime Twist is embossed with the Metal Plate Embossing Folder and added to the base.
- A 1-1/2 x 4 strip of Zoo Crew DSP is added on the front.
- The Mini Pocket Envelope (Online Exclusive) was cut from coordinating Zoo Crew DSP with the Die, adhered to form the pocket, then added to the front of the base card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- A 3/4 x 3-3/8 strip of Lemon Lime Twist cardstock was placed towards the bottom of the envelope for the “ground”.
- One of the animals from the Zoo Crew DSP was hand-cut, then colored with Smoky Slate Ink Pad and Water Painter and Light Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends for the cheeks and ears. The ground was colored with Light Lemon Lime Twist Stampin’ Blends. It was hand-cut and added to the envelope with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Just for You from Charming Sentiments stamp set was stamped with Lemon Lime Twist Ink on Basic White cardstock, then cut with the Mini Pocket Envelope oval die. It was added with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the envelope, too.
