It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge! We have a nice color combination for you this week!
RELAXING WATERSIDE
I love playing with new products and this Relaxing Waterside suite of products (available May 5th) caught my eye right away!
This pocket card is the perfect size to slip in a gift card, too!
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 5 x 9-3/4, scored at 2-1/2 and 6-1/4 with score lines pressed in and the flaps should be overlapping with narrower flap on top. Mark 2-1/4 from the bottom edge of the left side flap to the top first score line, then cut diagonally. Mark 1-1/4 from the bottom edge of the right side flap to the second score line and cut diagonally. This will form the criss-cross front. Adhere the flaps and bottom edge together to close.
- Stamp the grasses on each side approx. 1-1/4 from bottom edge of the pocket card with Crumb Cake Ink.
- Cut a 1-1/4 x 3-3/4 piece of Waterside Retreat Designer Paper and add to the bottom of the pocket card front.
- Cut the chair base and back from Secret Sea cardstock using the dies. Cut the arms and seat from Crumb Cake cardstock and adhere on the Secret Sea chair. Add to the front with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Wrap some Linen Thread around the DSP twice and tie a bow. Secure in place by adding glue to the legs of the chair over the thread.
- On a 3-1/4 x 4 piece of Basic White cardstock, stamp the grasses with Crumb Cake Ink on the left and the right sides. Stamp the bird in the middle. Use a blending brush to add Secret Sea Ink along the bottom edge and stamp the greeting approx. 5/8″ from the top.
- Adhere the Basic White stamped panel to a 3-1/2 x 4-1/4 piece of Petal Pink cardstock.
- Punch the middle banner with the Three Banner Punch from scrap Petal Pink cardstock and fold in half and adhere at the top of the pull-out card.
- Add a large blue Natural Matte Dot to the front of the banner.
