It’s Thursday and you know that means it is time for a Create with Stamping Friends Thursday Challenge. We have another fun sketch for you to try this week!

SPARKLING SNOWFLAKES

I was a little stumped on what to do with the sketch! But I thought snowflake images would work to repeat in the background. I looked for a perfect sized one and saw it in Sparkling Snowflakes. I kept it pretty simple with only two colors.

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Pool Party cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock was stamped with the small snowflake in Sparkling Snowflakes stamp set using Bubble Bath and Pool Party Inks, alternating the colors on the diagonal.
Some Pool Party Pompon Ribbon was tied around the top with a knot.
The Winter Greetings from Sparkling Snowflakes was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Bubble Bath cardstock and cut with the Countryside Corners Dies. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Some pink Iridescent Adhesive Backed Discs were added to the center of each snowflake.

CSF Saturday Blog Hop – “Pretty in Pink”

It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop. This month we will be using the colors in movie titles to inspire our cards. This week our movie theme is “Pretty in Pink”. Cards with predominantly pink in them!

SPARKLING SNOWFLAKES

Of course I used the new In Color, Pretty in Pink, on today’s card! Also figured I’d do another Christmas in July card. I’m using Sparkling Snowflakes, a carryover from last year!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Pretty in Pink cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 3-1/4 x 4-1/2 piece of pink In Color Glimmer Paper was added at an angle on the front.
The 3 x 4-1/4 piece of Basic White cardstock was stamped randomly with the medium size snowflake with Pretty in Pink Ink. It was adhered angled in the opposite direction over the Glimmer Paper.
The greeting was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Pretty in Pink cardstock and cut with the label from Detailed Forest Dies.
A 2 x 3 piece of Basic White cardstock was punched with the Sparkling Snowflakes Punch and added to a 2 x -2-1/2 piece of Smoky Slate cardstock cut into a banner at the bottom. The greeting label was adhered on top.
Some Pretty in Pink Bordered Ribbon was looped back and forth and added to the front with a Mini Glue Dot.
The greeting piece was added over the ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Some pink Adhesive Backed Sequins Trio were added to the snowflakes an background.

Welcome to Create with Connie and Mary’s Creatively Simple Challenge! Each month Mary and I will pick a theme for our simple cards. This month the theme is “Winter”!

SPARKLING SNOWFLAKES

When you live in Ohio, snow is just a routine part of the winter months. I try to escape it whenever I can! lol! But I did love this pretty snowflake card that is quick and simple to make and has so much glittery fun!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Coastal Cabana cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White has been cut at an angle, then embossed with the Snowflake Sky Embossing Folder and adhered to the front.
Let it Snow from Sparkling Snowflakes stamp set was stamped in the bottom corner with Memento Black Ink.
The small snowflake from was stamped with Pool Party Ink surrounding the greeting.
The large snowflake was stamped with Coastal Cabana Ink on Basic White cardstock and punched with the 2″ Circle Punch (Online Exclusive).
The Decorative Circle was punched from Pool Party cardstock and the circle added on top.
Some White Glittered Ribbon was added behind the Decorative Circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals, then added to the front.
Some Iridescent Rhinestones were added to the large snowflake and three in the background.

It’s Thursday and you know that means it is time for a Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge. It’s a fun sketch this week.

SPARKLING SNOWFLAKES

I thought the circles on this sketch would be great for snowflakes! I’m certainly not ready to see them in the air around here, but I love snowflake stamps! This one came together pretty quickly and would be great for mass producing as well!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Thick Basic White cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Pool Party cardstock was embossed with the Snowflake Sky Embossing Folder and added to the front.
A 3/4 x 4-3/4 strip of Lost Lagoon cardstock was added to the front.
The 1-3/4 x 3-3/4 piece of Snowflake Magic Specialty Designer Paper was added on top.
The snowflakes were stamped with Pool Party Ink for the solid image, then Lost Lagoon detail image on top and punched with the 2″ and 1-1/2″ Circle Punches. They were added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The greeting from Sparkling Snowflakes was stamped with Lost Lagoon Ink on a 3/4 x 2-1/4 piece of Basic White cardstock and the end cut at an angle, then adhered on front.
A trio of silver Neutrals Adhesive Backed Sequins were added to the snowflake centers and the background.

Saturday Blog Hop – Favorite Christmas Bundle

It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Connie and Mary Blog Hop. This week our theme is “Favorite Christmas Bundle”! I had a real hard time choosing! Normally I’d go with a snowman, but no snowmen this year! Plus, there are so many bundles that I “like” this year…there really wasn’t one that stood out for me! I chose a bundle that actually went on my list first…Sparkling Snowflakes! I used this bundle for my Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip Swap a few months ago during preorder time.

SPARKLING SNOWFLAKES

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Lost Lagoon cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White was stamped with the Sparkling Snowflakes in Lost Lagoon and Fresh Freesia Inks diagonally going across the front.
It was embossed with the Snowflake Sky Embossing Folder and added to the front.
A 3 x 3 piece of Fresh Freesia cardstock was added to the front.
The 2 x 4 piece of Snowflake Magic Specialty Designer Paper was added on top (love the shimmer and shine!)
On Basic White cardstock, the snowflake was stamped with Fresh Freesia Ink, then punched with the 2″ Circle Punch (Online Exclusive). It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The greeting from Sparkling Snowflakes was stamped with Lost Lagoon Ink on 3/4 x 2-3/4 Basic White cardstock and the ends cut at an angle.
The snowflake edge of the Sparkling Snowflakes Punch was tucked under the greeting.
A Lost Lagoon gem from the Faceted Gems Trio Pack was added to the center of the snowflake.

It’s Thursday and you know that means it is time for a Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge. This week we have a fun sketch for you to try.

SPARKLING SNOWFLAKES

How about some non-traditional colored snowflakes? I love this color combination! This would be a great card for Christmas cards if you had a bunch to make! Quick and easy!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Coastal Cabana c/s, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
The 3 x 4-3/4 piece of Basic White cardstock has been randomly stamped with the three sizes of detail snowflakes in Lemon Lime Twist, Melon Mambo and Coastal Cabana.
Two 1/2 x 4-1/4 strips of Lemon Lime Twist were added behind the Basic White panel, then adhered to the front of the card.
The greeting was stamped with Memento Black Ink on a 3/4 x 3-1/4 piece of Melon Mambo and the ends cut at an angle.
A trio of Adhesive Backed Iridescent Discs in three colors were added to the background and greeting for a nice sparkle!
