Our Creatively Simple theme this month is “Critters or Insects”!

SPRINGTIME SCENES

I love this designer paper pattern in the Homemade Sweetness DSP…the little ladybugs and flowers are SO cute! This is one of those easy to make cards that will use up that stack of DSP you have laying around! So many options with this layout!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Misty Moonlight cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Calypso Coral was added on top.
The 1-3/4 x 5-1/4 strip of Homemade Sweetness DSP was added at the bottom.
The ladybug print in Homemade Sweetness DSP was cut to 3-1/4 x 3-1/2 and added to the front.
The greeting from Cutest Crew was stamped with Misty Moonlight Ink on Basic White and punched with the 2-3/8″ Circle Punch, then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A ladybug from Springtime Scenes was stamped with Memento Black Ink, colored with Basic Black and Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends, then cut with the Springtime Scenes Dies and added to the circle with a Stampin’ Dimensional.
A trio of Moody Palette Glossy Dots were added to the circle and background.

Our Creatively Simple theme this month is “Critters or insects”! I’m loving this theme!

SPRINGTIME SCENES

I had forgotten to get this Ladybug Picnic Embossing Folder on my first preorder, so just picked it up recently!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Bubble Bath cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Strawberry Slush cardstock was embossed with the Ladybug Picnic EF and added to the front.
A 1-1/4 x 5-1/4 strip of Homemade Sweetness DSP was added down the right side.
A 1 x 4-1/4 strip of Basic Black was adhered next to it.
The circle was cut with the Springtime Scenes Die from Basic White cardstock and stamped with the Springtime Scenes greeting in Strawberry Slush Ink.
The leaf was cut with the Die from Old Olive cardstock and added under the greeting with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The ladybug was stamped with Memento Black Ink on scrap Basic White and colored with Strawberry Slush and Basic Black Stampin’ Blends. It was added to the leaf with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Some Linen Thread was tied in a bow and added to the leaf.
A trio of Strawberries & Dots were added to the background.

IM425 – Springtime Scenes

Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration is a green print…aren’t the swirls pretty?

SPRINGTIME SCENES

I used the circles in the Springtime Scenes Dies to create the look of swirls on my card!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Lemon Lime Twist cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Garden Green cardstock was stamped with the leaf image randomly across the front using Garden Green Ink.
The Springtime Scenes solid circle and ring were cut from Lemon Lime Twist cardstock, the partial leaf circle from Granny Apple Green cardstock and the all-over leaf circle from Granny Apple Green cardstock. All were adhered to the front.
The greeting was stamped with Garden Green Ink on Basic White cardstock and cut with the label in the Springtime Scenes dies and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Two fern leaves were cut from Garden Green cardstock and adhered next to the label with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Two large flowers were cut from Basic White cardstock and the center flowers from Granny Apple Green cardstock and adhered together, then placed on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Two Low Profile Sparkle Dots were added to the centers of the flowers.

Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration is some ladybugs!

SPRINGTIME SCENES

This is a very diverse bundle! I love all the circle scenes in the dies, and this little ladybug is darling, too! I featured her on today’s card!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Misty Moonlight cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Calypso Coral cardstock was added on top.
A 1-1/2 x 5-1/4 strip of Homemade Sweetness DSP was added along the left side with the coordinating blue gingham print added next to it.
The large circle was cut with the Springtime Scenes Die from Basic White cardstock and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The leaf was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Granny Apple Green cardstock and cut with the Die, then added to the bottom of the circle.
Two ladybugs were stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock and colored with Calypso Coral and Basic Black Stampin’ Blends. They were cut out with the dies and added to the leaf with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A small flower was stamped with Misty Moonlight Ink and cut with the Die, then added to the front next to the leaf.
Two leaf skeletons were cut from Misty Moonlight cardstock and tucked under the circle next to the leaf.
The greeting was stamped with Misty Moonlight Ink on the top of the circle.
Some coral Pearls of Beauty were added to the background and the center of the flower.
