SUOC193 Sure Do Love You

The theme this time on SUO Challenges is “Hearts A Plenty”. Of course, I pulled out my Sure Do Love You stamp set again. I just love it AND that Painted with Love Designer Paper! I need to order more of it as I’ve almost used an entire package. Since it only has a couple patterns with hearts, I think it goes with everything.

Here are the details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Thick Whisper White cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
On the 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Powder Pink, a 1 x 5-1/4 strip of the striped Painted with Love Designer Paper was added.
On top of that is a 2-1/4 x 3-1/4 piece of Melon Mambo cardstock.
The 1/8″ Gold Ribbon was placed down the length and adhered behind the Powder Pink layer, it was added to the front of the base.
The solid heart was stamped with Rich Razzleberry Ink on Whisper White and the greeting heart with Melon Mambo Ink, both were cut with the Lots to Love Box Framelits, then added to the Melon Mambo piece with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Finally, a heart Metallic Shape on the Rich Razzleberry heart adds just the perfect tie-in with the gold in the DSP and the ribbon!

CCMC283 Flowerfull Heart

Wow! Hard to believe that Christmas is over already! Doesn't the time go by fast leading up to Christmas? I really don't know where the entire month of December went! But, it was wonderful to be with family and friends.

We have a FUN sketch challenge for you to try this week over on Create with Connie and Mary! Grab your stamps and play along!

Here is my interpretation using the single stamp, Flowerful Heart, from the Whole Lot of Love promotion!

Here are the details:

The base is 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 Real Red, folded in half.
A layer of 4 x 5 1/4 Whisper White was placed on top.
Next I used 1/2 sheet of the Fresh Prints Designer Paper Stack. I love that you can get two cards from one page AND it is double sided!
I added a 1 x 3 piece of coordinating Real Red Striped DSP in the same package to the lower right corner, cut with a flag end.
On top of that I stamped Happy Valentine's Day from Teeny Tiny Wishes in Real Red on Whisper White and cut a flag end.
The Flowerfull Heart was stamped with Real Red on Whisper White and cut with the Heart Framelit.
I cut two of the smallest Heart Framelits from Red Glimmer Paper to tuck under the Flowerful Heart.
I added a Coastal Cabana In Color Boutique Button to the heart with some White Bakers Twine tied in a bow under it.

Love You More again

OK…I'm in the middle of a big project, but took a few minutes to make up this card. Stampin' Up!'s little Love You More stamp set for Valentine's (or other occasions!) is just TOO cute! It is available to purchase NOW thru January 31st!

Here's another quick card I made up using the little bird…don't you LOVE those colors in the Fresh Prints DSP, too!

Here are the details:

The 4 1/4 x 11 base of Coastal Cabana cardstock is folded in half.
I cut a 3 1/2 x 4 3/4 piece of Baked Brown Sugar and added a 2 x 3 1/2 piece of Fresh Prints Designer Paper Stack to the bottom. I rounded all four corners with the corner rounder.
I stamped Love You More in Basic Black in the upper left corner, then added a strip of the new Natural Chevron Ribbon across the seam. I used the reverse side for a solid ribbon so the chevrons didn't conflict with the DSP pattern.
I used Coastal Cabana, Real Red and Baked Brown Sugar Stampin' Write Markers to ink up the bird stamp in Love You Much, then stamped it on Whisper White and cut it out, placing it on the front with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Finally, I added a In Color Boutique Detail of Coastal Cabana to the ribbon.

Super cute??? I think so!!!
