IM120 – Wild Rose

Happy Monday! It’s time for our Create with Connie and Mary Inspiration Monday challenge! This week’s inspiration is some delicious looking cookies…too pretty to eat, right?

 

I pulled out Wild Rose Bundle…one of my favorite flower sets from the Annual Catalog.  I really like how stamping the Sahara Sand on Very Vanilla made it look like tone-on-tone white flowers like the cookies!

Stampin’ Details:

    • The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Mint Macaron cardstock and scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
    • A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Very Vanilla cardstock was added on top.
    • A 1 x 5-1/4 strip of Garden Lane Designer Paper was added to the front.
    • The large Wild Rose flower was stamped twice with Sahara Sand Ink on Very Vanilla cardstock and cut with the Wild Rose Dies.  The center of one was cut out and added to the full flower with Stampin’ Dimensionals, then to the front with more Stampin’ Dimensionals.
    • The leaves were stamped off with Mint Macaron Ink and detail stamped full strength with Mint Macaron Ink, then cut with the Dies and adhered under the flower.
    • The smaller detailed flowers were cut from Flirty Flamingo cardstock with the dies and the fillers cut from Garden Green cardstock with the dies.  Both were added with Monoadhesive Glue.
    • The hello greeting from Wild Rose stamp set was stamped with Garden Green Ink.
    • The large and small Clear Faceted Gems were added to the centers for a little bling!

IM100 – Wild Rose

Happy Monday! It’s time for our Create with Connie and Mary Inspiration Monday challenge! This week’s inspiration is a beautiful wedding cake!  I love the soft purple/pink colors on a background of white!

 

I combined a “traditionally” warm weather Wild Rose stamp image with the wintery feel of Frosted Frames and icy Silver Glimmer Paper snowflakes for a completely non-traditional looking card!  SOOO pretty!

Stampin’ Details:

    • The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Thick Whisper White, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
    • On top is a 4 x 5-1/4 Whisper White cardstock embossed with the Subtles Embossing Folder.
    • The Frosted Frame was cut from Whisper White and stamped with the greeting in Memento Black Ink.
    • Some Silver Thread was wrapped in circles, then added to the corners of the frame, which was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
    • The foliage were cut from Perfect Posy cardstock and the snowflakes from Silver Glimmer Paper.
    • The Wild Rose image was stamped first with stamped off Highland Heather Ink (or use Perfect Posy if you have it) and the next step with Highland Heather Ink full strength, then outlined with Smoky Slate Ink.  It was hand-cut and covered with Wink of Stella for even more sparkle.

IM75 – To A Wild Rose

Happy Monday! It’s time for our Create with Connie and Mary Inspiration Monday photo! Look at the bold colors on this collage!  Wow!  Wishing we still have Lemon Lime Twist!  That would have been a great addition!

I’m using the to A Wild Rose bundle again from the NEW Annual Catalog…you probably think I don’t have any other new sets, right?  lol!  Well, actually my newest catalog order just got here!  So excited to play!

Stampin’ Details:

    • The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Blueberry Bushel cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
    • A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Granny Apple Green cardstock was cut.
    • At the bottom, a 2-3/4 x 4 piece of Whisper White cardstock was stamped with the background stamp Handwritten with Granny Apple Green Ink and adhered.
    • The 1/8 Blueberry Bushel Ribbon was wrapped around and tied in a knot, then the layer added to the base card.
    • The lattice piece from Wild Rose Dies was cut from Blueberry Bushel cardstock and adhered toward the right side with Tombow Multipurpose Glue.
    • The label piece from Wild Rose Dies was cut from Whisper White cardstock and stamped with the word Hello from To A WIld Rose in Blueberry Bushel Ink.  It was slid under the ribbon added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
    • The solid background rose image was stamped with Bermuda Bay Ink, the detail was stamped with Blueberry Bushel Ink and the outline with Memento Black It on Whisper White cardstock.  Cut with the Wild Rose Die.
    • Repeat for a second rose but hand-cut out the center blossoms and add to the larger rose with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
    • Slightly curl the edges for dimension and add to front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
    • Stamp the leaves outline and inside with Granny Apple Green Ink on Whisper White cardstock, cut with the Wild Rose dies and add under the flower with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
    • Add a trio of Coastal Cabana Glimmer Dots.
