Hi everyone! Welcome to the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge! It’s a fun sketch this week, so we hope you’ll play along!

I took a little liberty with the shapes, as you are welcome to do. I am on a mission to use my Designer Paper packages before they all retire at the end of May, so I grabbed Farmer’s Market! lol!

Here are the details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Cherry Cobbler folded in half.
On top is a 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Very Vanilla.
The Lots of Labels Framelit cut the Cherry Cobbler Polka Dot pattern from Farmer’s Market DSP and was adhered on front.
The flowers from Birthday Blossoms stamp set were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black on the Hello Honey print in Farmer’s Market, punched with the Pansy Punch and colored with the Gold Wink of Stella Brush.
The centers were stamped again on the Cherry Cobbler Polka Dot Print and handcut, then added to the center of the flowers with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The flowers were placed on front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The leaves were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black on Mossy Meadow (sob! It’s leaving soon!) and hand cut out, then tucked under the flowers.
Celebrate You from Birthday Blossoms stamp set was stamped with Mossy Meadow Ink.
I used the Gold Wink of Stella and my fingernail to flick some gold spots in the background.

CCMC Saturday Blog Hop Tunnel Card

HAPPY 4th of July everyone! And, it’s Saturday again and time for the Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop! This is our last week for featuring fun folds (don’t worry, we’ll be back with this theme!), and Deb Currier chose the Tunnel Card! I’ve done these before, but I’ve never heard they called that before! You’ve probably just come from Deb Currier’s blog, wasn’t her card beautiful?

So, here’s the front of mine!

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Pear Pizzazz scored at 4-1/4 to form a regular card base, then the front stamped with Hardwood Background Stamp in Pear Pizzazz Ink.
I cut the Circle Framelit from Whisper White and stamped the Celebrate You greeting from the Birthday Blossoms stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink and adhered it to the front.
The flower and leaves from Birthday Blossoms were stamped with Tuxedo Black Ink, then punched with the Pansy Punch and cut out the leaves. The centers are the Petite Petals Punch from So Saffron and my favorite Perfect White Accents are in the center. A little bit of White Satin Ribbon was tied in a knot and added with Mini Glue Dots under the flowers.

Inside a piece of 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Wisteria Wonder Cardstock was scored at 2-1/8. 4-1/4 and 6-3/8, then the same size Circle Framelit (5th from smallest) cut out the center.
The cluster of flowers were stamped with Wisteria Wonder in each of the corners.
The flower was stamped with Tuxedo Black on Whisper White, then punched with the Pansy Punch, the leaves stamped on Pear Pizzazz and cut out. Another Petite Petals Punch flower of So Saffron and large White Perfect Accent is in the middle.
A 5-1/4 x 8 panel of Whisper was stamped in the center with the Happy Birthday greeting in Tuxedo Black, and adhered to the inside of the Pear Pizzazz. Then the Wisteria Wonder panel was adhered over the Whisper White. You can see it better from the top down view.

Birthday Blossoms

Ahhh, flower stamp sets…just love them! Can’t have enough, right? Here’s a new favorite set of mine, Birthday Blossoms!

Again, most of these items were already cut and on my desk…my starts pile…I just simply pulled them together to make this card! Here are the details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Watermelon Wonder, folded in half.
On top is a 3-3/4 x 5 layer of Whisper White.
On the right side is a 2-1/2 x 3-1/2 piece of Cherry on Top Designer Paper.
Happy Birthday was stamped with Tuxedo Black ink and the top colored with the Hello Honey Marker.
Two of the flowers were stamped with Tuxedo Black on Watermelon Wonder and the centers on Hello Honey, then punched with the Pansy Punch and the centers cut out by hand. A tiny Pearl is in the center of each.
The leaves were stamped with Tuxedo Black on Cucumber Crush and hand cut out.
The flowers were popped up on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Pretty quick and easy…especially when you have the pieces done already! lol!
