Welcome to Create with Connie and Mary’s Creatively Simple Challenge!  Each month Mary and I will pick a theme.  This month the theme is Welcome!  We will design our cards using this theme of NEW Annual Catalog products!

CHEERFUL DAISIES

I really do like this new Cheerful Daisies Bundle…especially this large floral daisy cluster die!  And I LOVE the new Lemon Lolly color!  So soft and pretty!

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Soft Sea Foam cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
  • The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Lemon Lolly cardstock is embossed with the Countryside Blossoms Embossing Folder.
  • A 1/2 x 4-3/4 strip of Soft Sea Foam was stamped with the Cheerful Daisies greeting in Memento Black Ink and added to the front.
  • The large floral image was cut with the Cheerful Daisies Dies from Basic White cardstock.  The centers were colored iwth Daffodil Delight Ink and the leaves with Soft Sea Foam Ink.  It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • A trio of Iridescent Rhinestones were added to the background.

Welcome back to our Create with Connie and Mary Inspiration Monday challenges.  Look at these yummy flower cookies!

CHEERFUL DAISIES

I went with a more pastel color palette because I wanted to use a few of the new Core Colors…Lemon Lolly, Bubble Bath, and Berry Burst!

Stampin’ Details:

    • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Thick Basic White cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
    • The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Pebbled Path cardstock is embossed with the crosshatch pattern in the Basics 3D Embossing Folders.
    • A 1-1/4 x 4 strip of Bright & Beautiful DSP was added across the front.
    • The smaller daisy in Cheerful Daisies Stamp Set was stamped with Berry Burst, Lemon Lolly, Highland Heather and Bubble Bath Inks on Basic White cardstock, then cut with the Cheerful Daisies Dies.  They were assembled on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
    • The greeting was stamped with Pebbled Path Ink on Basic White cardstock, then cut with the Cheerful Daisies label die.  It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
    • A trio of yellow Adhesive Backed Solid Gems were added to the background for a little bling!

CCM Saturday Blog Hop – Welcome In Colors

Welcome back to our Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop!  This week’s theme is “Welcome In Colors”.  We have a brand new set of FIVE in colors that coordinate so well together!  They also fill in some gaps in our core colors!  Which new In Color will our Design Team feature as their favorite?  I used all FIVE on my card, but I do love the Boho Blue!

CHEERFUL DAISIES

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Boho Blue cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
  • Each of the 2023-25 In Color Designer Paper were cut to 1 x 3 size.
  • The DSP pieces were added to a 3-1/4 x 5-1/2 piece of Basic White cardstock, then added to the base card.
  • The large floral image was cut with the Cheerful Daisies Die from Basic White cardstock and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • The Cheerful Daisies greeting was stamped with Pebbled Path Ink on Boho Blue cardstock, then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Three copper 2023-25 In Color Dots were added to the flower centers.

CCMC764 – Cheerful Daisies

It’s Thursday and you know that means it is time for a Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge.  Another lovely color combination this week to inspire you!

CHEERFUL DAISIES

The Annual Catalog will be available to customers soon!  This is one of my favorites that demos were able to preorder!  I combined it with the Country Gingham…I so wish that DSP was in the new catalog, too!

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Thick Basic White, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
  • A 3-3/4 x 5 piece of Country Floral DSP was added to the background.
  • A 1 x 3-3/4 strip of Basic White was stamped with the Cheerful Daisies greeting in Memento Black Ink, then added across the top.
  • The outline of the flowers were cut with the Cheerful Daisies Dies from Petal Pink cardstock and the detail cut from Basic White cardstock.  The centers and sprigs were cut from Metallic Gold Paper.  The leaves from the large die were trimmed and cut from Balmy Blue cardstock.  Everything was assembled on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and Monoadhesive Glue.
  • A trio of blue Adhesive Backed Solid Gems were added to the background.

Achievers Blog Hop – April 2023

Our Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip Achievers get together each month for a Blog Hop! I’m blessed with great customers and downline who helped me achieve last year’s Incentive Trip on a Norway Cruise that we will be taking this upcoming May!  I’m joining the top 1% of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators who have earned this reward.  Our blog hop theme this month is ANYTHING CURRENT!

CHEERFUL DAISIES

Demos are able to preorder certain items from the upcoming Annual Catalog!  One of those items is the Cheerful Daisies Stamp set and coordinating Cheerful Daisies Dies!  I’ve also used some of the upcoming In Colors and new Core Colors on here!

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Copper Clay cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
  • The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Lemon Lolly is stamped with the large outline daisy with Lemon Lolly Ink randomly in the background.
  • A 1/2 x 5-1/4 strip of Copper Clay cardstock was added across the front towards the bottom.
  • A 1-1/2 x 4 piece of Fresh as a Daisy Designer Paper was added to the background towards the left side over the Copper Clay strip.
  • The large floral die from Cheerful Daisies Dies was cut from Basic White cardstock, then colored with Copper Clay and Wild Wheat Stampin’ Blends and Garden Green Marker for the leaves.  Another leaf set was cut with the Dies and colored.  All were added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • The greeting was stamped with Pebbled Path Ink on Basic White and cut with the label in the Cheerful Daisies Dies.  It is added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Finally, a trio of Adhesive Backed Solid Gems were added to the background.
