IM98 Most Wonderful Time

Happy Monday! It’s time for our Create with Connie and Mary Inspiration Monday challenge! This week’s inspiration is a beautiful tree with bright metallic colors! So pretty!

I just had to use the Noble Peacock Foil Papers! And decided to use the Most Wonderful Time tree!

Stampin’ Details:

- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Bermuda Bay cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Crumb Cake cardstock was embossed with the Stylish Scrolls Embossing Folder.
- A 1-1/4 x 4-1/2 piece of the Old Olive Metallic Paper in Noble Peacock Foil Paper was added down the middle.
- The 2-1/4 x 3-3/4 piece of Pretty Peacock Metallic Paper was added on top.
- The 2-1/4 x 3-1/4 piece of Blueberry Bushel Metallic Paper was next.
- The tree was stamped with Pretty Peacock Ink on Garden Green cardstock and cut with the Most Wonderful Time Die. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The presents were stamped with Bermuda Bay and the bows with Delicata Golden Glitz Ink on top, then cut with the Dies and added to the base of the tree with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The Noble Peacock Jewels were added to the tree.
- The star was cut with the Dies from Gold Glimmer Paper and added on top with a Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The greeting from Most Wonderful Time was stamped with Delicata Golden Glitz Ink on Whisper White, then punched with the 1-1/2 Circle Punch.

CCMC581 – Most Wonderful Time

Happy Thursday!!! It’s time for another Create with Connie and Mary challenge! It’s a fun color challenge this week!

These colors look “frosty” to me…so I went with the Most Wonderful Time stamp set again this week for my card! If you haven’t checked out this Most Wonderful Time Product Medley, you really should!!! LOTS of awesome goodies in this kit! I know…trees aren’t normally “navy”, but when we are being creative, they can be any color, right???

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Seaside Spray cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Whisper White was cut with the Stitched Rectangle die.
The greeting was stamped with Night of Navy Ink at the bottom of the Whisper White panel. It was popped up on the base card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Inside the rectangle, the stars were stamped with Delicata Silvery Shimmer Ink randomly.
A 1 x 3 strip of Whisper White cardstock was torn across the top and then added inside the window for a snow bank.
The tree was stamped with Delicata Silvery Shimmer Ink on Night of Navy cardstock, then cut with the Most Wonderful Time Dies. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The star was cut from Gray Granite cardstock, then sponged with Delicata Silvery Shimmer Ink on the raised areas. It was added to the top of the tree with a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional.
Three Peacock Rhinestones were added to the star and background frame!

SUOC182 Quilted Christmas DSP Tree

The theme this time on SUO Challenges is “Blast from the Past”. There are several ways to utilize this theme…an old idea updated with new product, new product featuring an old idea, or it is wide open to your interpretation! I chose to update an old card I made (September 2011) with NEW products in the current Annual and Holiday catalogs!

Then here is the revised version featuring new embossing folder, new Designer Paper and new Mini Sequin Trim!

Here are the details for the new card:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Real Red cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
The front of the base card has been embossed with the Quilt Top Embossing Folder.
On the 2-3/4 x 4-1/4 panel of Whisper White, a tree was built with DSP squares. Starting up from the trunk of the tree, I cut 4 squares of Quilted Christmas Designer Paper, then cut them in half diagonally. They are sizes of 2″, 1 3/4″, 1 1/2″ and 1 1/4″. You will get TWO trees from one square. I tilted each of the triangles, growing smaller as they reach the top. Each of them is popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A 1/2 x 2-3/4 strip of Whisper White was torn and added to the bottom of the Whisper White panel for the snow. A 1/2 x 1-1/2 piece of Early Espresso cardstock is the trunk of the tree tucked until the bottom of the tree and under the snow.
Some Gold Mini Sequin Trim was added added down the front of the tree, held in place with Mini Glue Dots.
The Whisper White panel was adhered to a 3 x 4-1/4 panel of Garden Green cardstock, then added to the base card.
Merry from Sweet Home stamp set was stamped with Garden Green on Whisper White, then cut into a banner shape and tucked under the tree.
The star at the top is from the Starlight Thinlits, cut from Gold Glimmer Paper.
