Happy Thursday, everyone!!! We have a fun and SUPER simple card sketch for you this week over on Create with Connie and Mary!

I think my card is the EASIEST one I’ve ever done! lol! I let the Country Club designer paper do all the work!

Isn’t that simple? Here are the Stampin’ Details (if you even need them!)

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Thick Whisper White cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 1-1/4 x 4-1/4 piece of navy plaid in Country Club DSP was adhered across the front.
On top the 3-1/8 x 4-3/8 piece of golf ball print Country Club DSP was added to a 3-1/4 x 4-1/2 piece of Night of Navy cardstock, then added to the front.
A 1/2 x 2-1/2 piece of Crushed Curry cardstock was added at the top.
Happy Birthday from Clubhouse Stamp Set was stamped with Night of Navy Ink on 1/2 x 2 piece of Whisper White cardstock, then added to the Crushed Curry piece with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Because I just HAD to add a little something, two Gilded Gems were added to the lower right corner.

Another Thursday has rolled around! Our Ohio weather is finally getting warm, but golfers aren’t able to golf yet because of the “shelter in place” order we still have going on! But, we have a fun sketch challenge for you to try this week on Create with Connie and Mary!

I decided to “tee-up” Stampin’ Up!’s Clubhouse for my card…I purchased this bundle because both of my boys love to play! My youngest is actually quite good…he has played since high school!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Mint Macaron, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 3-1/2 x 4-3/4 piece of Country Club Designer Paper was added towards the right on the front.
The 2-1/4 x 3-1/2 piece of Garden Green cardstock was embossed with the Absolutely Argyle Embossing Folder and added to the front on an angle.
A 2″ circle of Mint Macaron cardstock was added on top.
The banner from Golf Club Dies was cut from Poppy Parade cardstock and added on the circle.
The golf ball/tee from Clubhouse was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Whisper White, colored with Light Smoky Late, Light Poppy Parade and Light Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends, then cut with the Golf Club Dies and added on front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Greatest Guy from Clubhouse stamp set was stamped with Garden Green Ink, cut with the Golf Club Die and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Happy Thursday!!! It’s time for a Create with Connie and Mary challenge! This week we have a fun sketch for you to try.

Here is what I did with the sketch using Stampin’ Up!’s Clubhouse Bundle. I’m SO glad they came out with a golf theme set…both my boys play and it will be fun to make their cards!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Night of Navy cardstock, scored at 5-1/2.
On top is a 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Whisper White cardstock.
A 1/4 x 3-3/4 strip of Soft Sea Foam was added in the background with a 1/4 x 3-3/4 strip of Garden Green offset from it.
The Country Club Designer Paper (LOVE IT!) was cut to 2-1/2 x 4 and added on top.
The Stitched So Sweetly label was cut from Soft Sea Foam cardstock and added to the DSP.
The Golf Ball/Tee image was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Whisper White cardstock and colored with Soft Sea Foam, Night of Navy and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends. It was cut with the Golf Club Dies and added to the label with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Two grass images from Golf Club Dies were cut from Garden Green and tucked behind the tee on the label.
Happy Father’s Day badge was stamped with Garden Green on Soft Sea Foam cardstock and cut with the Golf Club Die. It is popped up on the front corner with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The laurel leaves were cut from Garden Green with the Golf Club Die, then added around the badge.
A trio of Nobel Peacock Rhinestones (navy) were added to the background.

IM110 – Clubhouse

Happy Monday! It’s time for our Create with Connie and Mary Inspiration Monday challenge! This week’s inspiration is some great looking cupcakes for the golfer in your life!

Of course, Stampin’ Up! has the PERFECT stamp set to use for this inspiration challenge…Clubhouse! Think Mary planned it that way when she picked this photo? lol! Anyway, here is what I came up with. I’m so happy to get this golfing set…both my boys play, so it will be perfect for them.

Stampin’ Details:

- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Garden Green cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Crumb Cake cardstock was added on top. (I should have embossed with the Argyle Embossing folder, but I forgot and wasn’t going to tear it all apart!)
- A 3 x 4-1/4 piece of the golf ball/tee print from Country Club Designer Paper was added on top.
- A 1/2 x 4 piece of the reverse side plaid was added across the front.
- The Country Club Twine in Poppy Parade was added across the bottom of the DSP and secured in the back of the Crumb Cake layer. Then the layer was added to the front.
- The golf ball/tee was stamped with Memento Black Ink on scrap Whisper White cardstock and punched with the 2″ Circle Punch. It was colored with Light Poppy Parade, Light Smoky Slate, and Light Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends.
- It was layered on the Starburst Circle punched from Night of Navy cardstock. Then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The greeting was stamped with Garden Green Ink on scrap Crumb Cake, then cut with the Golf Club Dies.
- The greeting was stamped again on scrap Whisper White cardstock with Poppy Parade Ink, and the “Greatest Guy” banner hand-cut and placed on the Die piece with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. Then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
