Saturday Blog Hop – Favorite New 2026 Stamps/Bundle

It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop. This week’s theme is “Favorite New 2026 Stamps/Bundles”…ideas from the new May-August Catalog or May Online Exclusives!

SPLASH & RELAX

I was SO excited to see a stamp set with Flip Flops! This bundle is so perfect for summer cards! I have to say it is my favorite “right now” bundle. That changes frequently, though!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Crisp Cantaloupe cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock is embossed with the Lazy Daisy Embossing Folder and added to the front.
A 1 x 5-1/4 strip of Crisp Cantaloupe cardstock is added across the middle.
One Stitched Shapes square was cut from Hydrangea Hue cardstock and one from Basic White cardstock and adhered across the front.
Three sets of flip flops from Splash & Relax Dies were cut from Bloom Boutique DSP and the straps with Basic White and Crisp Cantaloupe. They were added to the front with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Fun in the Sun from Splash & Relax stamp set was stamped with Peaceful Pine In on Crisp Cantaloupe and cut with the circle Stitched Shapes Die, then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Three Pearlized Faceted Circles were added to the background.

I ended up using 4 of the 5 new In Colors on here! LOVE them! OK, next up on our blog hop is our Create with Stamping Friends website, then on to creative Debbie Henderson, or head backwards to see Melissa Davies’ fabulous project and see what everyone did with this challenge!

More Island Floral Flip Flops!

Well, it was a BUSY, BUSY weekend for me! The bride-to-be and her mom and my son were over on Sunday to work on the wedding Invitations. I finished stamping the envelopes and jackets and they adhered them together. They still need to be stuffed and we forgot the Gift Registry card, so I'll work on that this week. As soon as they are malied, I will share them here. I do want them to be a surprise…and I know some of my family checks out my blog! lol!

In addition, I was able to get another box of Flip Flop Notepads, so I do have more FOR SALE…these are the orders I filled over the weekend! Each one is $2.95 plus shipping. EMAIL ME with your order!

On this batch, the flip flop notepads were yellow, red, and pink, so I used Daffodil Delight, Poppy Parade, Tangerine Tango, Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie and Tempting Turquoise for the flowers. I cut them with the Island Floral Bigz Die on the Big Shot. On these, I decided the use the Square Lattice Impressions Folder on the Pear Pizzazz/Old Olive leaves. All of these have a flower brad with a Rhinestone Jewel in the center! They are adhered with Pop Dots and Mini Glue Dots.

Can you say CUTE!!!

Busy week for me, too. I'm doing a Vendor Sale on Saturday to sell off my supplies of retired stamps, inkpads, cardstock and non-SU scrapbook supplies… But, it all has to be pulled out and priced! I'm hoping to free up some space in my cabinets AND make a little money! If you live in the Columbus area, email me and I'll send you the details! Craft Sale Flip Flops

I promised to show you some more things I sold at the stamping retreat I did a week ago. I had extras of the flip flops left over from Create with Connie and Mary promotion last summer and decorated some to sell! Aren't they CUTE??? I didn't get a photo of all of them together before they started selling…they were SO darling! I love the Island Floral Bigz Die Flowers on them! They are notepads with a magnet on the back so you can hang them on your refrigerator if you want…or keep them on your desktop for a piece of paper close at hand! What a fun gift for a birthday party this summer…or a beach party!

GREAT NEWS!!!! I did get more of the flip flop notepads, so if you missed out the first time, EMAIL me again!!!

These were big sellers, but I still have some left. Email me if you would like to purchase any! They aren't very heavy, so shipping should be pretty low. I sold them for $2.95 each. (Mary found the notepads at a closeout store last year, so I doubt you would find any now. Sorry!)

I used Rose Red, Tempting Turquoise, Pumpkin Pie, Real Red cardstock to cut the flowers and leaves from the Island Floral Bigz Die to match the base of the flip flops. In the centers I used a Clear Rhinestone or Flower Brad. They are held securely onto the flip flops with Pop Dots. That's it!

Well…back to working on taxes for me…YUCK!!! I have papers ALL over my family room floor working on them. Hopefully will get them finished up by tomorrow so I can start stamping again!

Tropical Party and Blog Candy

I did find another sketch challenge to play along over on Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge, SSC67. It looked like fun and I thought immediately of the new Island Floral Bigz Die that could be used for the flower focal element.

My card ties in with the Tropical Party theme we have going on over on Create with Connie and Mary this week! Subscribers are getting a chance to see some fun projects made with Stampin' Up!'s Tropical Party stamps, Island Floral Bigz Die and Island Oasis Designer paper.

I started with a base card of Tempting Turquoise cardstock. I added a layer of So Saffron that I ran thru the Big Shot with the Square Lattice Impressions Folder. I made my "designer paper" in the background by stamping the large flower in Tropical Party randomly on Whisper White cardstock in the colors of Pumpkin Pie, Rose Red, Tempting Turquoise and So Saffron. I layered that piece on Pumpkin Pie. I did add some real designer paper with the Polka Dot Print in Island Oasis Designer Paper, then added a strip of So Saffron on top, with the Happy Birthday greeting from Teeny Tiny Wishes. I also wrapped some Pumpkin Pie ribbon around and tied with a knot.

The flower I ran Rose Red and Pumpkin Pie cardstock thru the Big Shot with the Island Floral Bigz Die, then ran it thru again in the Square Lattice Impressions Folder. I punched Boho Blossom from So Saffron for the center and added a Circle Ice Rhinestone Brad in the center. This is popped up with dimensionals on the front. I like it! It is nice and bright!

TROPICAL BLOG CANDY!
