Saturday Blog Hop – Spooky Halloween

Happy Saturday! This week our CCM Saturday Blog Hop theme is “Spooky Halloween”! With spiders, bats and all kinds of spooky stamps, Stampin’ Up! has Halloween covered! I choose Hallows Night Magic again for my card…the spiders in this set are CREEPY real! I made this for one of my swap groups earlier and realized that I hadn’t shown it yet!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Basic Black cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Blackberry Bliss is embossed with the Cobwebs Embossing Folder, then added to the front.
2-1/4 x 4-1/2 piece of Magic in this Night Designer Paper was cut with a banner end, then added to the front.
A 1-1/2 x 1-1/2 piece of Basic Black cardstock was also cut with a banner end and adhered under the DSP.
The label image from Hallows Night Magic is stamped with Memento Black Ink an colored with Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. It was cut with the Halloween Magic Dies, then added on front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The spider from Hallows Night Magic is stamped with Memento Black Ink on Gray Granite cardstock, colored with the Rich Razzleberry Blends and cut with the Halloween Magic Dies. It is added to the front with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
An Iridescent Pearl was added to the body.

INSIDE:

A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Whisper White cardstock was stamped with the greeting and spider from Hallows Night Magic in Memento Black Ink. The spider was colored with Rich Razzleberry Blends.
A 1 x 4 piece of Magic In This Night Designer Paper was added to the inside bottom.

Saturday Blog Hop – Halloween Favor

Happy Saturday! This week our Saturday Blog Hop theme is “Halloween Favor”! I love Stampin’ Up!’s 3 x 3 Acetate Boxes, so decided to use one of those for my project this week. They hold quite a bit, I fit 4 fun sized Hershey bars in here…could probably have 1-2 more!

Stampin’ Details:

Assemble the 3 x 3 Acetate Box.
The sleeve around it is is 2-3/4 x 9 and adhered in front. It will slide off so you can open the box.
The Metallic Mesh Ribbon was wrapped around on top of the DSP and tied in a knot.
The label is stamped with Memento Black Ink on Pretty Peacock cardstock and cut with the Halloween Magic Dies. It is added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The moon is cut from Bumblebee cardstock using the Stitched Shapes Circle and stamped with the Hallows Night Magic greeting in Memento Black Ink. It is popped up on the label with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The cobweb is cut from the Peek-a-Hoot Dies from Basic Black (I only used it because I had one cut out on my desk already!) It is tucked under the moon.
The spider from Hallows Night Magic was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic Gray and cut with the Halloween Magie Dies, then added on front with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The trio of bats were cut from Black Glimmer Paper and added to the moon with Mini Black Stampin’ Dimensionals. (I always forget we have these in black! Came in handy!)
A Iridescent Black Pearl was added to the boy of the spider.

CCMC634 – Hallows Night Magic

Another Thursday has rolled around and we are getting closer to Halloween! Our color challenge this week reflects the Halloween colors perfectly!

I used Hallows Night Magic on my card today using these colors! Do you have that Cobwebs Embossing Folder yet? It’s a MUST HAVE!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Cajun Craze cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 3-3/4 x 5 piece of Magic in the Night Designer Paper was wrapped with the Metallic Mesh ribbon and tied in a knot. (I love this ribbon can be used for spooky or pretty!)
The largest label in Halloween Magic Dies was cut from Basic Black, embossed with the Cobwebs Embossing Folder, then sponged with Whisper White Ink. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The circle from Stitched Shapes was cut from Mango Melody cardstock, then stamped with the Hallows Night Magic greeting in Memento Black Ink. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The bats were stamped with Memento Black Ink on Cajun Craze cardstock, then cut with the Halloween Magic Dies. They were added to the circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Some Iridescent Pearls were added to the bats’ bodies.

IM141 – Hallows Night Magic

Happy Monday! It’s time for our Create with Connie and Mary Inspiration Monday challenge! Ohhh, we have a spooky inspiration pillow for you this week!

Hallows Night Magic

I love the simple, muted color scheme of this people and tried to recreate it with my card using Hallows Night Magic Bundle.

Stampin’ Details:

- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Misty Moonlight cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- A 3 x 5-1/4 piece of In Colors Misty Moonlight Designer Paper was add on the left side.
- A 1/2 x 5-1/2 strip of Black Glitter Paper was added on top.
- The large label in the Halloween Magic Dies is cut from Misty Moonlight cardstock, then embossed with the Cobwebs Embossing Folder. Some Metallic Mesh Ribbon was folded in half behind it. It is popped up on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Trick or Treat was stamped with Memento Black Ink on scrap Whisper White cardstock and added to the top of the label.
- The moon is punched with the 2″ Circle Punch from Whisper White cardstock, then lightly sponged with Soft Sea Foam ink to give it a spooky feel. It is popped up on the label with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The bat from Hallows Night Magic is stamped with Memento Black Ink on scrap Whisper White cardstock, then cut with the Halloween Magic Dies. It is popped up on the moon with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- A couple Iridescent Pearls were placed above the greeting.

This card really sparkles and shimmers with the glitter paper, the metallic mesh and the pearls! OK…check out what Mary did with the Inspiration Monday Challenge over on Create with Connie and Mary!
