CCM Saturday Blog Hop – Vintage Thanksgiving

This week’s CCM Saturday Blog Hop theme is “Vintage Thanksgiving”! What makes a card look vintage? I thought this frame and background DSP kind of looked vintage, so I went with it!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Thick Basic White cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The frame was cut from Early Espresso cardstock with the Fabulous Frames Die and Stampin’ Dimensionals place along the back of the frame.
A 3-1/2 x 4-3/4 piece of He’s All That Designer Paper was added to the back of the frame over the Dimensionals, then added to the front. The scroll images from Hello Harvest were stamped in the corners with Early Espresso Ink.
The pumpkin was cut from Pumpkin Pie cardstock, the stem from Mossy Meadow cardstock, the vine from Early Espresso cardstock and cut/embossed with the Rustic Pumpkin Dies. They were added inside the frame with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Two leaves from Hello Harvest stamp set were stamped with Crumb Cake Ink on Very Vanilla cardstock and cut with the Rustic Pumpkin Dies. They were added under the pumpkin.
The greeting from Hello Harvest was stamped with Early Espresso Ink on Crumb Cake cardstock and hand-cut around the words. It was added to the leaves with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Finally, two Leaf Label & Amber Gems were added to the pumpkin.

CS60 – Hello Harvest

Welcome to Create with Connie and Mary’s Creatively Simple Challenge! Each month Mary and I will pick a theme…this month it is “Designer Paper”, and we each create a simple card every Tuesday in October using that theme!

HELLO HARVEST

Really, the Rustic Harvest DSP does ALL the work on this card! The background has a little embossing, and the greeting is stamped! That’s it!

Stampin’ Details:

Base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Cajun Craze cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
The front panel is embossed with the Leaf Fall Embossing Folder.
A 2-1/2 x 5-1/4 piece of Rustic Harvest Designer Paper is added to a 2-3/4 x 5-1/4 piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock, then added to the front.
The greeting from Hello Harvest is stamped with Mossy Meadow Ink and cut with the Rustic Pumpkin Dies. It is added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Two Rustic Metallic Dots were added next to the greeting.

IM251 – Framed Florets

It’s time for our Create with Connie and Mary Inspiration Monday challenge. Our yarn colors were taken from a fall florals window box! So pretty! I’ve always wanted to have flower boxes on the front of my house!

FRAMED FLORETS

Here’s what I did with the inspiration! I combined the new Framed Florets Bundle with the Hello Harvest pumpkin!

Stampin’ Details:

- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Soft Sea Foam cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- A 2 x 5-1/2 piece of pink metallic Splendid Day Designer Paper was added to the right side.
- The ovals from Framed Florets Dies were cut from Very Vanilla and Gorgeous Grape cardstocks. The Very Vanilla was stamped with the Framed Florets greeting in Melon Mambo Ink towards the top.
- The pumpkin from Hello Harvest stamp set was stamped with Mossy Meadow Ink and colored the outlines with Light Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends. It was hand-cut (or use the coordinating die) and added to the bottom of the oval with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The flower cluster from Framed Florets stamp set was stamped with Memento Black Ink and colored with Soft Sea Foam, Fresh Freesia, Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends. Then cut with the Framed Florets Dies. It was added next to the pumpkin with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Two small Champagne Rhinestones were added to the center of the flowers.
- Some Simply Elegant Gold Trim was tied in a bow and added to the pumpkin stem.

CCMC Saturday Blog Hop – Pumpkin Spice Season

This week’s CCM Saturday Blog Hop theme is “Pumpkin Spice Season”. Fall always comes around with the launch of hundreds of Pumpkin Spice flavored products! Yummy! What will our Design Team choose to use?

HELLO HARVEST

I downloaded a coffee cup template and created my Pumpkin Spice Season coffee card!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Crumb Cake cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of yellow grid Celebrate Everything Designer Paper was added on top.
Cut a 1 x 4 piece of Early Espresso cardstock and adhere towards bottom.
Using the coffee cup template, trace around the bottom onto 3 x 5 Crushed Curry cardstock and the lid onto 1-1/4 x 3-1/2 Basic White cardstock. Hand-cut out. (Or print directly onto the cardstock.)
Stamp cup bottom randomly with fleur image from Hello Harvest stamp set in Early Espresso Ink, add to front of card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add lid on top.
Stamp 1-1/4 x 3-1/2 Crumb Cake cardstock with Hello greeting in Early Espresso Ink, trim to fit cup and adhere.
Stamp Hello Harvest pumpkin on Pumpkin Pie cardstock with Early Espresso Ink. Shade pumpkin with Dark Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends. Color stem with SU200 Blends. Cut with Rustic Pumpkin Dies and added to front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Stamp two leaves with Old Olive Ink on Basic White, cut with Dies, add to front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Cut vine from Old Olive cardstock with Dies, adhere to pumpkin.
Add two Rustic Metallic Dots to background.

SOOO happy with how this turned out. Pumpkin Spice coffee is one of my favorites this time of year! IM241 – Hello Harvest

It’s time for our Create with Connie and Mary Inspiration Monday challenge! This week is a metal wall art piece…love the shades neutral colors in here!

HELLO HARVEST

I went a different direction than circles, using more the colors of the inspiration piece for my card today featuring the Hello Harvest Bundle, although I did add some Mossy Meadow green in it. I love the white pumpkins that are so popular in fall decor these days. This is one of the swap cards I made for my SU Trip Achievers group.

Stampin’ Details:

- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Mossy Meadow cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Crumb Cake was added on top.
- A 1-1/4 x 3-3/4 piece of Abigail Rose Designer Paper was cut with a flag end and added towards the bottom.
- The greeting from Hello Harvest was stamped with Early Espresso Ink.
- The pumpkins were cut from Very Vanilla with the Rustic Pumpkin Dies.
- The leaf was stamped with Mossy Meadow Ink and the sunflower with Early Espresso nk and colored with Dark Daffodil and Dark Pumpkin Pie Blends.
- The stem was cut with the Dies from Early Espresso cardstock and the vine from Mossy Meadow cardstock.
- All were layered onto the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Two Brushed Metallic Dots were added in the background.
