IM133 – Jar of Flowers

Happy Monday! It’s time for our Create with Connie and Mary Inspiration Monday challenge! This week’s inspiration is a beautiful floral print.

Blue flowers! I love making blue flowers, even though there aren’t a whole lot of varieties shown in nature. But, we can pretend, right? I actually would love a bouquet of flowers in these colors!

Stampin’ Details:

- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Misty Moonlight cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded to form the base card.
- The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Pool Party was embossed with the Tasteful Texture Embossing Folder.
- A 2-3/4 x 4 piece of Playing with Patterns Designer Paper was added across the center.
- The Stitched So Sweetly scallop rectangle was cut from Whisper White cardstock and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The jar was stamped with Memento Black Ink and the water with Pool Party Ink. The stems were stamped with Old Olive Ink and colored with Light Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. It was punched out with the Jar Builder Punch and put on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The flower bouquet was stamped with Memento Black Ink and colored with Pool Party Combo, Bermuda Bay Combo, Old Olive Combo, Seaside Spray Combo. It was hand-cut and some Wink of Stella applied to the petals. It was popped up on the rectangle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The greeting was stamped with Misty Moonlight Ink on Whisper White and cut with the Stitched So Sweetly Die. It was colored with Dark Pool Party and Dark Seaside Spray Blends then added to the front with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Two Misty Moonlight In Color Enamel Dots were added to the greeting.

IM131 – Jar of Flowers

Happy Monday! It’s time for our Create with Connie and Mary Inspiration Monday challenge! This week’s inspiration is a row of mason jars filled with flowers!

Of course, Jar of Flowers Bundle immediately came to mind to use. I had a little trouble with the colors, but otherwise I think it came out pretty close to the photo! What do you think?

Stampin’ Details:

- The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Crumb Cake cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded to form the base card.
- A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Seaside Spray cardstock was added on top.
- A 1 x 5-1/4 strip of In Good Taste DSP was added across the bottom.
- The jar from Jar of Flowers was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Merry Merlot, Flirty Flamingo and Whisper White cardstock. The Whisper White was colored around the edges with the Light Seaside Spray Stampin’ Blends. They were added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The rose bouquet from Jar of Flowers was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Whisper White twice, the colored with Rococo Rose Combo, Flirty Flamingo Combo, Light Cherry Cobbler, Petal Pink Combo, Old Olive Combo, Dark So Saffron and Light Seaside Spray Stampin’ Blends. Both bouquets were cut out by hand, and one was divided in half. They were added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- A double strand of Linen Thread was tied in a bow and added to the center jar under the bouquet.
- Wink of Stella was added to the jars and flowers.
- Celebrate from Many Mates stamp set was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Seaside Spray cardstock, then cut with the Stitched So Sweetly Die.

CCMC617 – Jar of Flowers

Happy Thursday everyone! Wow…these weeks really roll around quickly! June is flying by, I guess because I was on vacation for 10 days earlier this month! More of a working vacation vs leisure, though! lol! We purchased a retirement home in Florida and closed on it, then needed to completely decorate and furnish! That has been a major job!

But…today’s Color Challenge is BEAUTIFUL! I frequently use these colors!

Jar of Flowers

Flowers were a perfect choice for these colors…don’t you think?

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Thick Whisper White cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Melon Mambo cardstock was embossed with the Old World Paper Embossing Folder, then added on top.
A 2-3/4 x 5 piece of In Good Taste Designer Paper was added to the front…love that tile print!
A 1/2 x 4 piece of Mango Melody cardstock was added as an accent down the left side.
The jar and flowers from Jar of Flowers stamp set were stamped with Memento Black Ink an colored with Light & Dark Mango Melody, Light & Dark Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends. Then watercolored with Melon Mambo Marker. The jar was punched with the Jar Punch and the flowers hand-cut. They were added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A 1/8 x 4-1/4 strip of Granny Apple Green across was added across the front.
It’s Your Day from Mini Mates was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Whisper White cardstock, then colored with the Blends/Markers and cut with the Tasteful Label Die. it is added on front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Wink of Stella was added to the jar and to the tulip flowers for a little sparkle.

Happy Thursday! Time for another Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge! It’s a beautiful color combination this week.

I decided to use Jar of Flowers for my card. Love the jars in different colors!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Purple Posy cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Crumb Cake cardstock is embossed with the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder.
A 1-3/4 x 5-1/4 strip of In Good Taste Designer Paper was added to the bottom.
The large jar from Jar of Flowers was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Purple Posy, Night of Navy and Coastal Cabana cardstocks and punched with the Jar Punch. They were added to the front of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The lids were stamped with Smoky Slate Ink on Whisper White cardstock and hand-cut, then added to the jars and the bottom.
The flower top from Jar of Flowers was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Whisper White cardstock and colored with Purple Posy Combo, Pool Party Combo and Light Night of Navy Stampin’ Blends. It was hand-cut and added to the top of the Night of Navy jar.
Celebrate from Many Mates was stamped with Night of Navy Ink on 1/2 x 3 piece of Whisper White cardstock, then trimmed and added to the front.
A Night of Navy Holiday Rhinestone was added to the greeting.
The jars were covered with Wink of Stella.

I’m showing off one of the bundles in the new Annual Catalog called Jar of Flowers! It has a coordinating punch and some fun plastic mason jar domes to make shaker cards! I made this one for a good friend who is going thru a rough time right now.

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Crumb Cake cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
On top is a 4 x 5-1/4 piece of the yummy In Good Taste Designer Paper…yep…you are seeing me use this a LOT!
The Ornate Garden Terracotta Tile Ribbon is tied around the DSP and knotted, then added to the front.
The Stitched So Sweetly scallop rectangle die is cut from Pool Party cardstock and added to the front.
The jar is stamped with Pool Party Ink and the stems with Old Olive Ink on Whisper White cardstock and punched with the Jar Punch.
The flowers are stamped with Memento Black Ink on Whisper White cardstock and colored with Poppy Parade Combo, Mango Melody Combo, Old Olive Combo and Dark Pool Party Stampin’ Blends. It is hand-cut an added on top of the jar, then attached to the rectangle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The greeting from Many Mates is stamped with Memento Black Ink and cut with the Stitched So Sweetly Die, then added on front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A couple Gold Glitter Dots are added to the background.
