Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration challenge is a fall decor scene…wouldn’t this be pretty on a patio or porch?

RUSTIC CRATE

Again I’m using a bundle from the past catalog, Rustic Crate. The pumpkin and sunflower images were perfect to use and seem to pop off the Country Woods Designer Paper.

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Pumpkin Pie cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic Beige cardstock was embossed with the Dashing Designs Embossing Folder and added to the front.
A 1-1/2 x 5 strip of Pumpkin Pie cardstock was added down the center.
The 3-1/2 x 3-3/4 piece of Country Woods Designer Paper was added on top, centered.
The crate from Rustic Crate was stamped with Early Espresso Ink on Crumb Cake cardstock and cut with the Die. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The pumpkin/sunflower image from Rustic Crate stamp set was stamped with Early Espresso Ink on Basic Beige cardstock (I love the more toned-down look vs. stamping on Basic White.) It was colored with Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Pecan Pie, Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Combos and cut with the Rustic Crate Die. It was added to the crate with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The blessed greeting was selectively inked with Early Espresso Ink (or use a marker) and stamped on the 1/2 x 1-1/4 Basic Beige cardstock, then end was cut at an angle and adhered to the crate.
A trio of copper Neutrals Adhesive Backed Sequins were added to the background.

It’s Thursday and you know that means it is time for a Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge. We have a fun sketch challenge for you this week!

RUSTIC CRATE

I’m surprised how much I actually like this color combination! The Poppy Parade and Pretty Peacock mellow out the Wild Wheat color! I flipped the sketch on the side for my card.

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Pretty Peacock cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Poppy Parade cardstock is embossed with the Distressed Tile Embossing Folder and added to the front.
Two 1-1/4 x 1-1/4 Wild Wheat striped DSP and two 1-1/4 x 1-1/4 Pretty Peacock polka dot prints from Garden Walk DSP were added to the front offset as shown.
The Deckled Circle was cut from Basic White cardstock with the Die and added to the center of the blocks with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The poinsettia cluster from Rustic Crate stamp set was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock and colored with Light Poppy Parade and Dark Real Red, Old Olive Combo Stampin’ Blends. It was cut with the Dies and added to the circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The greeting from Christmas Classics stamp set was stamped with Memento Black Ink on 1/2 x 2-1/2 Wild Wheat cardstock and end cut at an angle. It was added with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the front.
Some gold Festive Pearls were added to the center of the poinsettias.

Welcome to Create with Connie and Mary’s Creatively Simple Challenge! Each month Mary and I will pick a theme for our simple cards. This month the theme is “Tis the Season” cards! We are getting closer and closer to Christmas time! So glad I already have my cards done!

RUSTIC CRATE

I combined the poinsettias from the Rustic Crate stamp set with the greeting from So Very Merry! I love greetings that work inside circles!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Thick Basic White, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Garden Green cardstock is embossed with the Christmas Tidings Embossing Folder and added to the front.
A 2-3/8 circle was punched from Pool Party cardstock and stamped with Very Merry from So Very Merry Stamp Set in Memento Black Ink.
The poinsettias were stamped with Memento Black Ink and colored with Poppy Parade, Real Red, Lemon Lime Twist and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends, then cut with the Rustic Crate Dies and added to the circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The circle was dded to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Some which Iridescent Ribbon was tied in a bow and added next to the circle.

Welcome back to our Create with Connie and Mary Inspiration Monday challenges. Here is a pretty pumpkin centerpiece to inspire you!

RUSTIC CRATE

I thought my Rustic Crate Bundle would be a great one to use for today’s challenge! I love the soft blue/green color of this pumpkin…the arrangement colors would go great in my house!

Details:

- The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Pool Party cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
- Two 1-1/8 x 5-1/2 pieces of Hello Irresistible Designer Paper were added down the front.
- A 3-1/4 x 3-1/4 square of Crumb Cake cardstock was added to the front.
- Very Vanilla cardstock was cut with the Deckled Circles Dies and added to the square with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The pumpkin/flower image in Rustic Crate Stamp Set was stamped with Memento Black Ink and colored with Pool Party, Crumb Cake, Soft Sea Foam, Lemon Lolly and Light Lost Lagoon Stampin’ Blends. It was cut with the Rustic Crate Dies.
- A large, looped bow of Linen Thread was added to the Deckle Circle with a Stampin’ Dimensional, then the pumpkin/flower image added on top with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Hello was cut from Lost Lagoon cardstock with the Rustic Crate Dies.
- A trio of Iridescent Pastel Gems were added to the background.

Welcome to Create with Connie and Mary’s Creatively Simple Challenge! Each month Mary and I will pick a theme for our simple cards. This month the theme is Fall cards!

RUSTIC CRATE

I’ve had this image cut and colored and sitting on my desk for a while. Perfect timing to use it for this theme!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Pretty Peacock cardstock, score at 5-1/2 and fold to form base card.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Crumb Cake cardstock was embossed with the Leaf Fall Embossing Folder.
Three Peacock/Copper 1/2 x 6 strips of All About Autumn Designer Paper were added diagonally across the bottom and trimmed off. The layer was added to the base card.
The Rustic Crate pumpkin image was stamped with Memento Black Ink and colored with Granny Apple Green, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Cajun Craze and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends. It was cut with the Rustic Crate Die and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The greeting was stamped with Pretty Peacock Ink on 1/2 x 3-1/2 strip of Basic White cardstock, then cut at an angle and adhered to the top.
A trio of copper Neutral Adhesive Backed Sequins were added on front.

Welcome back to our Create with Connie and Mary Inspiration Monday challenges. We have some autumn felt ornaments to inspire you!

RUSTIC CRATE

I wanted to focus on the sunflowers and pumpkins, so pulled out my Rustic Crate bundle!

Details:

- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Pecan Pie cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded to form the base card.
- A 1-1/2 x 5-1/4 strip of Glorious Gingham was added to the left side of a 4 x 5-1/4 piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, then added to the base card.
- The pumpkin/sunflower image was stamped with Memento Black Ink and colored with Daffodil Delight Combo, Pumpkin Pie Combo, Cajun Craze Combo, Old Olive Combo, SU200, Dark Lemon Lime Twist Stampin’ Blends. It was cut with the Rustic Crate Die.
- The crate was stamped with Pecan Pie Ink on Pecan Pie cardstock and cut with the die. Both were added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals, leaving a little bit of space between them.
- The greeting was stamped with Pecan Pie Ink on 1/2 x 3 piece of Very Vanilla and ends cut at an angle, it was added between the two images.
- A trio of green Adhesive Backed Speckled Dots were added to the background.
- Some Linen Thread was tied in a bow and added under the edge of the greeting.

It’s Thursday and you know that means it is time for a Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge. This week we have a fun sketch for you to try.

RUSTIC CRATE

I love that this set has a little bit of coloring to it! Doesn’t take TOO long, even if you are doing a stack of them!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Pecan Pie cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 3-3/4 x 5 piece of Very Vanilla cardstock was added on top.
Three 1 x 4-1/2 pieces of All About Autumn DSP were added to the background, with two 1/2 x 3-3/4 pieces of coordinating medallion DSP added on top.
A 2″ circle was punched from More Dazzled Glitter Paper and added to the background.
The pumpkin image from Rustic Crate was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Very Vanilla cardstock, then colored with Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, SU 100 and SU 500 Stampin’ Blends. It was cut with the Rustic Crate Dies and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
For You from Rustic Crate was stamped with Memento Black Ink and cut with the tiny label die in Rustic Crate Dies. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

CS103 – Rustic Crate

Welcome to Create with Connie and Mary’s Creatively Simple Challenge! Each month Mary and I will pick a theme. This month the theme is Summer Fun!

RUSTIC CRATE

Here’s a fun new stamp set bundle from the Sept-Dec Mini Catalog called Rustic Crate! I love that it is seasonal. I used the “summer” image for today’s card.

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Lemon Lime Twist cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Garden Green was added on top.
The 1-1/2 x 5-1/4 strip of Masterfully Made DSP was added down the right side.
The Basic White cardstock was cut with the new Deckled Circles Die. The greenery image was inked with Lemon Lime Twist Ink and added Garden Green Ink with a sponge dauber, then stamped on the Basic White circle.
The crate was stamped with Early Espresso Ink on Pecan Pie cardstock and cut with the Rustic Crate Dies. It was added under the greenery with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the bottom of the circle trimmed off under it.
Hello from Rustic Crate Dies was cut from Garden Green cardstock and adhered to the circle.
A trio of Adhesive Backed Glitter Sequins were added to the background and circle for a little bling! Love these!
