CCMC Saturday Blog Hop – Raindrops Keep Falling on my Head

This month on Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hops, we plan on getting you to sing along with some “oldies, but goodies’. This week our song is “Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head”. I always LOVED that song! I didn’t have any new annual catalog sets that had a raindrop theme (although I do want that umbrella set!), so I used Sprinkles of Life for my card! I’m so glad they kept this Ronald McDonald set in the catalog.

Here are the details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Thick Whisper White, folded in half.
At the bottom of the 3-3/4 x 5 layer of Soft Sky, a 1 x 3-3/4 strip of Neutrals Designer Paper was added to the bottom.
Some Smoky Slate 1/8 Ribbon was wrapped around to the back to hide the seam.
The greeting from Sprinkles of Life was stamped with Memento Black Ink towards the left side.
Two clouds from Sprinkles of Life were stamped with Versamark and embossed with Silver Embossing Powder, then punched with the Tree Builder Punch and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The raindrops were stamped with Pool Party Ink under the clouds.

I love the sparkle that the Silver Embossing Powder gives to the card! I need to emboss more often!

Ice Cream Bag Tags and Prize Wheel

First, I haven’t shown off my grandkids for a LONG while! Here’s a photo from last night that I just couldn’t resist. I love the expression on Quinn’s face as she looks at her cousin Carter playing! Carter is 2 years old now and Quinn is 9 months!

I remembered that I hadn’t shown you a couple things I made for the Create LIVE event that were lots of fun! We had an Ice Cream theme going on and used Sprinkles of Life stamp set. Here’s the bag tag I made for each of the participant’s bags they received at registration filled with their Make & Take projects! I used the Tree Builder Punch and the Tree Punch for the cone (upside down).

And here was the Prize Wheel…the triple colored cone was the All Attendee giveaway…a Stampin’ Foam Piercing Mat to use under the photopolymer stamps!

And…I made Mary and I and all the helpers a special name tag for the day using the Lots of Labels Framelit and chipboard covered with In Color Collections DSP for the background.

Aren’t those fun? It really was a great day!

CCM361 Sprinkles of Life

It’s Thursday and time for another Create with Connie and Mary Challenge! It’s a fun sketch this week!

And here’s what I did using Sprinkles of Life again.

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Bermuda Bay, folded in half.
On the 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Whisper White, the 2 x 5 strip of Cherry on Top Designer paper was cut to a flag end towards the right side, then left a gap as the sketch dictated.
Linen Thread was wrapped around and tied in a bow.
Sprinkles greeting was stamped with Real Red Ink above the DSP.
A 2-1/2 Circle was punched from Real red cardstock and adhered on the front.
The base of the cupcake was stamped with Tip Top Taupe on Tip Top Taupe cardstock, then hand cut.
The top was punched with the Tree Builder Punch, then stamped with Real Red and Cucumber Crush sprinkles.
The candle was stamped with Tip Top Taupe and colored with Bermuda Bay and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Write Markers.
The cupcake was placed on the Real Red circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The Petite Petals punch from Daffodil Delight cardstock and a Perfect White Accent added to the center, and adhered next to the cupcake.
