Petite Petals again

Well, if you are following my blog, you'll notice that this card combines Monday's layout with yesterday's colors!  I originally was going to do this version of the card until I decided to use Sale-A-Bration products.  So…here's an updated version with current products!

And here are the details:

  1. The base is 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 Pear Pizzazz folded in half.
  2. I added a 4 x 5 1/4 layer of Elegant Eggplant
  3. I embossed the 3 3/4 x 5 layer of Whisper White with Delicate Dots folder (guess I need to put this away until the new catalog comes out!) or substitute the Perfect Polka Dots for now.
  4. I cut a 1 1/2 x 4 1/2 piece of Pear Pizzazz from the Subtles Patterned Stack and another piece 1 x 3 1/2, then cut flag ends and placed on the front.
  5. I stamped the greeting from Yippee Skippee with Elegant Eggplant on Whisper White and cut with the Oval Framelits.
  6. I stamped the flower from Petite Petals three times with Elegant Eggplant on scrap Whisper White and punched with the Petite Petals Punch.  I punched two additional from Pear Pizzazz cardstock for the leaves.
  7. In the centers, I punched the small flower from Itty Bitty Punches and added a small pearl to the centers.

Yippee Skippee

I love this greeting set, Yippee Skippee…so many fun sayings in it!  And they gave it to us FREE at Convention!  This greeting in particular I'll use a lot!  This is the card that was for my Go Diva's swap at Convention!  I love the color combination…Bermuda Bay, Summer Starfruit and Smoky Slate.  The pops of Summer Starfruit really stand out!  And I love the Soho Subway Designer Paper patterns.  I had originally punched out about 50 of those yellow flowers with the Pansy Punch for another project, but ended up changing my mind on what to use…so built this card around that flower!

 

 

Here are the details:

  1. The base is 4 1/4 x 11 of Bermuda Bay, folded in half.
  2. I embossed the bottom portion of a 4 x 5 1/4 panel of Smoky Slate cardstock with the Chevron folder.
  3. I stamped Awesome…thanks from the Yippee Skippee stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a cut out Chalk Talk Framelit tag.
  4. I punched a 1/8" hole on the left side, then threaded my Summer Starfruit Stitched ribbon around and tied it on the right with Early Espresso Bakers Twine.  It is popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals right over the "line" between the embossed and non-embossed area.
  5. I tucked a 1 1/2 x 3 piece of Soho Subway Designer Paper under the tag and cut the flag end.  I love that wood print pattern in that package…beautiful swirly colors in it!
  6. I used one of the Summer Starfruit patterned DSP punched with the Pansy Punch and added a 1/2" punched circle of Bermuda Bay in the center and a Large Rhinestone Jewel.

Flower Shop Yippee Skippie

Happy Monday!  Hope you enjoyed the Tour de Freaks blog hop over the weekend!  This card is one that I had originally thought would be one of my swap cards for an organized swap at Convention, but then I discarded it.  I love the new "instagram and poloroid" look that is making the rounds in card making!

 

 

Here are the details:

  1. The base is 4 1/4 x 11 Primrose Petals cardstock, folded in half.
  2. On the 4 x 5 1/4 piece of Very Vanilla, I stamped the loopy flower from Flower Shop several times in the bottom left corner with Summer Starfruit ink.
  3. I cut a rectangle piece of Smoky Slate cardstock, then used a square framelit in the center.  I adhered it to the Very Vanilla with Stampin' Dimensionals.
  4. Awesome Thanks from Yippee Skippee was carefully stamped with Primrose Petals ink inside the open square area.
  5. I punched the Blossom punch from Primrose Petals cardstock and adhered to the front with Stampin' Dimensionals.
  6. Inside the Blossom punch is a punched Pansy from Soho Subway Designer Paper (yep…still using up a bunch of those that I had punched for another swap!  lol!) 
  7. I added a punched Itty Bitty flower center of Primrose Petals cardstock and a large Rhinestone jewel in the center.
