It’s Day 4 (our final day) of the Create with Connie and Mary Valentine Collection 2015 and both Mary and I have done up another card using either the Hey, Valentine or You Plus Me stamp sets. We are featuring both of these sets and the Stacked with Love Designer Paper Pack in our projects for the Valentine Collection. Here are the details:
- The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Strawberry Slush, folded in half.
- On the 2-1/4 x 5-1/2 panel of Pink Pirouette, I embossed with the Happy Hearts Folder (again you’ll need to run it thru twice).
- I added a 3/4 x 5-1/2 piece of Whisper White and stamped Twitterpated (love it!) with Strawberry Slush ink.
- At the top, I cut a 1/8 x 5-1/2 piece of Basic Black to trim off the top.
- I cut the heart with the Heart Framelits, then stamped the ampersand in Strawberry Slush Ink. I used the Heart template, piercing tool and mat to pierce around the edge of the heart.
- I colored three rhinestones with Melon Mambo Blendabilities and added them to the inside of the ampersand.
- The circle was stamped with Tuxedo Black Ink on Whisper White and punched with the 1-3/4″ Circle. I colored the words with Pink Pirouette and Strawberry Slush markers, then added it to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Too cute! I’m having a lot more fun with that set that I actually thought I would. The graphics are very cool! Make sure to check in over on Create with Connie and Mary to see the card that Mary did today!
