Doorbusters on Monday!

This was one of the cards that my Stamp Club made in the month of October! I love sponging blues over White Embossing.

Here are the details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Bermuda Bay, folded in half.
On a 3-1/2 x 4-1/2 piece of Whisper White, stamp the Wonderland trees with White Craft Ink and emboss with White Embossing Powder.
On two-thirds of panel, sponge Soft Sky ink over the background from bottom left to top right.
Shade Bermuda Bay Ink over two-thirds of the Soft Sky color to darken.
In bottom left corner, sponge Island Indigo Ink.
Stamp snowflakes from Wonderland with Soft Sky Ink on background.
Stamp Silent Night with Tuxedo Black Ink in upper right corner.
Punch Softly Falling snowflake from Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper and adhere to front with Stampin’ Dimensional. Cut a snow bank from Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper and adhere at base of trees.
Tie Bermuda Bay Baker’s twine in a bow and add to snowflake.
Adhere Whisper White panel to 3-5/8 x 4-5/8 Basic Black layer.
Fold a small piece of Bermuda Bay Striped Ribbon in half and adhere until top right corner.

Painted Petals

This is one of the cards we did in Stamp Club last month! I wanted to show off the FABULOUS Irresistibly Yours Designer Paper that is one of the FREE selections of Sale-A-Bration products when you purchase $50 or more! It is a GREAT collection of patterns (stripes, polka dots, vines, florals, fancy fans, etc) and you can make it ANY color by sponging, brayering or rubbing color on it! Or leave it completely white for a fun tone-on-tone look!

For my card, I paired it with Wisteria Wonder and Pear Pizzazz and used the stripe pattern and the floral pattern.

Here are the details:

The base is 4 1/4 x 11 Pear Pizzazz, folded in half.
The 4 x 5 1/4 layer of Wisteria Wonder was embossed with the Spring Folder.
The floral print in Irresistibly Yours DSP was cut 1 1/2 x 5 1/4 and sponged with the Wisteria Wonder Ink, then adhered down the left side.
The stripe print in Irresistibly Yours DSP was cut 3/4 x 4 and sponged with Pool Party Ink, then adhered across the bottom front.
A large circle was cut with the Circle Framelit, then stamped with Painted Petals in Wisteria Wonder and Pear Pizzazz Inks. A So Saffron Stampin’ Write Marker was used in the centers.
You are Amazingly Amazing from Painted Petals Stamp Set was stamped with Memento Black Ink on the circle, too. Then the circle was popped up on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals!
Finally, the Pool Party Thick Twine was tied in a bow and added to the front with Mini Glue Dots!

Wondrous Wreath is Tickled Pink

How do you like that title? What are you thinking right now? I made this Wondrous Wreath card last month for a friend going thru chemo again for breast cancer. But, I didn’t want to make a serious card. I knew she’d love the bling of the Silver Glimmer Paper and shiny Silver Vellum and the bright pink colors on the wreath. Plus I added the fun greeting from the stamp set, Flamingo Tango. I must admit, one of the BIG reasons in getting that set (other than the donation Stampin’ Up! makes to the Ronald McDonald House Charities), was this greeting.

Here are the details:

The base is 4 1/4 x 11 Smoky Slate.
I cut a 4 x 5 1/4 layer of Whisper White and one from Silver Vellum Paper. I adhered the Silver Vellum Paper to the Whisper White by placing Mini Glue dots behind a few of the silver dots in the corners. They are hidden that way!
I cut a 1 1/2 x 4 1/2 piece of Silver Glimmer and cut a flag end, then added it to the front of the base card.
The wreath from Stampin’ Up!’s Wondrous Wreath was stamped with Pink Pirouette, then the Strawberry Slush and finally with Silver Ink Berries, then cut out with the matching Wreath framelits.
I popped it up on the front of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The greeting from Flamingo Lingo was stamped with Strawberry Slush, then cut out with the Bitty Banner frametlits and added to the front with a dimensional.
I tied a bow in the Strawberry Slush Thick Twine and added it with a Mini Glue Dot!

Do you love it? I do! I think this would be so fun to receive in the mail! I think it would make a great non-traditional Christmas Card with a different greeting, too!

Making Spirits Bright

Does this card look familiar? Remember this card HERE? I told you at that time that I had a second version to share and I’m just getting around to it now! lol! Both have similar layouts, but the Gold Glimmer Paper is placed in different spots. Which do you like better? I do like the Lucky Stars Embossing Folder on this one!

Here are the details:

The base is 4 1/4 x 11 Whisper White, folded in half
The Garden Green layer is 4 x 5 1/4.
The Real Red layer is 3 1/2 x 4 3/4 and embossed with the Lucky Stars Folder and the two left corners are rounded with the Corner Rounder Punch.
Nordic Noel Designer Paper is 1 x 4 and placed across the front.
The Making Spirits Bright cocktail is stamped with Black Stazon on Whisper White and colored with So Saffron, Real Red, Soft Sky and Garden Green Stampin’ Write Markers. It is cut with the Window Frame Framelit.
The Gold Glimmer Paper square is cut 1/4″ larger than the Framelit and layered behind, then popped up on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

So two versions of this card…similar with colors and details, but different with the embossed stars versus the Confetti Star punch! I like them both!
