Week 3 So Very Grateful favor

This little origami favor has been around the block a few times, but I thought I'd update it for my Create with Connie and Mary Card Create-tions Week 3 favor using Stampin' Up!'s So Very Grateful stamp set! It was my featured set this week and we share the coordinating favor with everyone on Saturdays as a bonus! We've come to the end of this session of Card Create-tions…however, it is still not too late to join! This website will remain available until next March to access all the great card ideas! Geometrical Favors

I included this little favor in Club orders last month! Love using that Scallop Tag Topper Punch! A little Hershey candy bar dressed up for Easter is inside…looked great with the colors of the Kaleidoscope Designer Paper and the Geometrical Stamp Set! As usual…I didn't remember to photograph them all until I had already given out a lot of them! lol!

Here are the details:

Cut Whisper White 2 x 5 1/2, then punch each end with the Scallop Tag Topper Punch.
Score at 2 1/2 & 2 3/4
Stamp Thank You from Lots of Thanks stamp set with Black Stazon above the front score line.
Cut a 1 x 2 piece of Kaleidoscope Designer Paper for the front and adhere above the Thank You.
Stamp the triangles from Geometrical with Crushed Curry, Bermuday Bay and Old Olive, punch with the Triangle Punch. Pop up on the front with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Add an Itty Bitty Flower with Pearl Center to the Bermuda Bay triangle.
Add a bow tied with the Gold Metallic Bakers Twine at the top to keep both sides closed.
I did add a Mini Glue Dot to the Hershey Candy to hold it in place.

Aren't these fun? Quick and easy to do a bunch of them, too!

JANUARY 2014 Tour de Freaks

It's time for the Tour de Freaks! Brought to you by the Control Freak Swappers! This month's theme is Valentine or Sale-a-Bration products! I choose to do Valentines this month since that holiday is right around the corner! You probably have just arrived here from my friend Debbie Henderson's blog! I always LOVE her projects! You can continue around to all 12 stops until you arrive back here.

I used the Language of Love stamp set that I received at Leadership! It is in the Occasions Celebrate catalog. I think it is perfect for more than Valentines, so you'll be seeing more of it, I'm sure! My first is a card. I used the Fresh Prints Designer Paper for my color inspiration. I also used the new Scalloped Texture folder for the first time! Hard to see, but I also pierced two rows around the edge of the circle. Of course, the Full Heart and Small Hearts work perfectly with this set.

My next project was really fun. I found these little clear plastic "houses" at the M**** store in town. They hold candy and even came with a little scoop!!! It was just TOO fun to pick up a few to play with! The first shows the flap on the front closed. I used Language of Love stamp set again and the same Fresh Prints Designer Paper. This one I added the White Bakers Twine around the container, then "hung" my pennants along the twine. Candy Dots add a little touch of bling to each side.

The second photo shows where the holder is for the scoop is on the side.

On this one you can see the flap open and the scoop ready to serve some candy!

Isn't it just precious!!!! I absolutely love how this little favor turned out!

May 2013 Tour de Freaks

It's time for the May 2013 Tour de Freaks, brought to you by the Control Freak Swappers! We have a small (but mighty!) tour for you this month, featuring the PREVIEW projects for the NEW catalog! Are you excited? We are! Follow the buttons to go around to all the stops on the tour…until you return to my blog! You've probably just come from Wendy Weixler's blog…weren't her projects fun?

I used the Mosaic Punch to make my Punch Art flowers…the details are the piercing and a peek at two new colors…Crisp Cantaloupe and Pistachio Pudding! LOVE the new In Colors! I've made a card with a matching little favor. The favor will really hold something larger than the Ghirardelli Chocolate, but I didn't have anything else to put in it!

Here is closeup of the card. As I mentioned, I used the Mosiac Punch and the new Soho Subway Designer Paper. It also features the greeting set, Really Good Greetings…a super fun set! I free-hand pierced around the ends of each flower petal, then scored the "leaves" in half to make them pop up a little more. The two sizes of Scallop Circles, 1 1/4 and 7/8, make a great center for the flower.

My second project is the candy pouch. I used the Designer Label Framelit to cut out the back top of the pouch. Then used the same flower and Designer Paper on the front. The greeting is from the new Label Love stamp set that has the matching punch, but I just free-hand cut out the greeting portion.

So, what do you think? I love how the flower turned out using Calypso Coral and Crisp Cantaloupe with Pistachio Pudding leaves! OK…time to continue on to the next stop on the tour…the famous Justin Krieger! I'm sure you will enjoy his projects!

Mixed Bunch Table Favor

This was the little table favor that I had for my Stamp Camp guests last night at my Blossom Punch Stamp Camp. It was at their place setting, along with the punch, when they walked in last night! Too bad I forgot to take a picture of all 12 of them together…they were cute!

I stamped the flower in Mixed Bunch with Rose Red Classic Ink and punched with the Blossom Punch. I also punched Rose Red cardstock and Pear Pizzazz cardstock. I cut the leaves from two single petals. Then layered it under the Rose Red and stamped images. I used a 1 3/8" circle on the bottom to hide the cut leaves. I added a Daffodil Delight Triple Doily punch on top, then the Hershey Kiss with Mini Glue Dots.

Really simple, but cute table favor! Fabulous for a tea party, don't you think?

Create with Connie and Mary Challenge Party Favor

On Create with Connie and Mary Occasions Edition website, we are offering a Party Favor Challenge this week! Our Saturday Challenges are the only things that are shared on our personal blogs. My favor was inspired by an organized Candy Wrapper Swap I received at Leadership. I updated it to use the Create a Cupcake stamp set and Build a Cupcake punch! I had some leftover Hershey Heart candies that I thought would work perfectly. I decorated the fronts of them with Sweet Stitches Designer Paper and the Small Heart punch and used the same DSP for the bottom of the "tray". The heart candies are adhered to a little "tray" with Mini Glue Dots. A cello pretzel bag keeps them secure. Then I folded a strip of cardstock in half and ran it thru the Big Shot with the Two Tags Die so just a portion of the tag was cut. It is stapled closed around the cello bag. I added a Baja Breeze Scallop Circle, then the cupcake on top. The base was stamped with Baja Breeze and the frosting with Regal Rose. I added a little Rhinestone Jewel to the center of the stamped bow and a Red Glimmer Paper cherry.
