Saturday Blog Hop – Colorful Leaves

It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Connie and Mary Blog Hop. This week our theme is “Colorful Leaves”…the trees around central Ohio have been just STUNNING with their bright fall colors this year!

PICK OF THE PATCH

I’ve used that plaid again from Them Bones Designer Paper for today’s card!  I think I’ve just about used it up!

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is Pumpkin Pie cardstock, score at 5-1/2 and fold to form base card.
  • A 1-3/4 x 5 piece of Them Bones Designer Paper was added on the left side.
  • The Basic White cardstock was cut with the Deckled Circles Dies.  It was stamped with the tree from Pick of the Patch stamp set in Early Espresso, then leaves in Cajun Craze, Old Olive, Crushed Curry and Real Red randomly.  It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • The pumpkin was stamped with Pumpkin Pie Ink and an Early Espresso stem, then hand-cut and added to the circle with a Stampin’ Dimensional.
  • The greeting was stamped with Early Espresso Ink on 1/2 x 2-5/8 Basic White cardstock, then adhered to 5/8 x 2-3/4 Early Espresso cardstock and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • A trio of Neutrals Adhesive Backed Sequins were added to the background and circle.

Pick of the Patch Halloween Goodie Bags

I put some little goodies bags together for the grandchildren.  Not much…just something different than all the candy they would get!

I used the scenic print from Them Bones Designer Paper and added a Pick of the Patch pumpkin, some punched bats (with Rhinestone Jewel eyes) and the Cutest Halloween Punch Bundle from last year on the clothespin clip!  Inside were some Halloween Scratch Off ornaments, a fidget pop toy, fidget water bead stretchy toy, a flute, eyeball glasses, Halloween pencils, plus a Bag of Bones decorated notepad and mini pens!  I personalized it with their initial on the notepad and a banner with their name and decorated clothespin to help close the bag!

 

 

Here are the decorated notepads…I didn’t get a photo of all of them, but they were basically the same.

Saturday Blog Hop – Glitzy Halloween

It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Connie and Mary Blog Hop. This week our theme is “Glitzy Halloween”…lots of shimmer and shine for this haunting Halloween season!

PICK OF THE PATCH with BAG OF BONES

I combined two sets for today’s glitzy card!  The Silver Metallic Paper and More Dazzled Glitter Paper, plus Sparkle Gems really make it pop!

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Pumpkin Pie cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
  • The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Pebbled Path cardstock was embossed with the Basics Crosshatch Embossing Folder (Online Exclusive) and added to the front.
  • The fence from Bag of Bones Dies was cut twice from Basic Black cardstock and adhered to the front along the bottom.
  • The tombstone was cut from Silver Metallic Paper and from Basic White cardstock.  The inside of the Basic White tomb was hand-cut and stamped with the greeting in Memento Black.  It was sponged with Pebbled Path Ink around the edges, then adhered to the Silver Metallic Paper tomb.  It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • The moon was punched with the 1-1/2 Circle Punch (Online Exclusive) from More Dazzled Gold Paper and adhered to the front.
  • The bats were cut with the Bag of Bones dies from Basic Black cardstock and added to the moon and background.
  • The pumpkins from Pick of the Patch stamp set were stamped with Pumpkin Pie Ink on Basic White and punched/cut then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  The stem and vine were stamped with Copper Clay Ink and punched/cut and added to the pumpkins.
  • A trio of Adhesive Backed Sparkle Gems were added to the background.

IM301 – Pick of the Patch

Welcome back to our Create with Connie and Mary Inspiration Monday challenges.  We have a beautiful fall cake for our inspiration today!

 

PICK OF THE PATCH

I love the barrels of leaves and pumpkins in the inspiration cake and wondered how I could recreate that look!  I found the fence in the Bag of Bones Dies and used a couple of them on my card!

Details:

    • The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Crumb Cake cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
    • A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Early Espresso cardstock was added on top.
    • A 3/4 x 3-7/8 piece of All About Autumn DSP was added to the bottom of a 3-7/8 x 5-1/8 piece of Very Vanilla cardstock.  The greeting was stamped with Early Espresso Ink.
    • Two fences were cut from Crumb Cake cardstock using the Bag of Bones Die.  They were adhered together overlapping one of the posts.  The SU100 Stampin’ Blends was used to color the banding along the top and bottom of the fence.  It was adhered to the Very Vanilla just tucking the bottoms of the posts under the DSP.
    • The large pumpkin was stamped with Pumpkin Pie Ink and the smaller pumpkin with Cajun Craze Ink, the leaves with Cajun Craze, Garden Green, Pumpkin Pie and Crushed Curry Inks, the stems with Garden Green Ink on Very Vanilla cardstock.  They were punched with the Pick of the Patch Punch or hand-cut as needed and assembled below the fence with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

CS109 – Pick of the Patch

Welcome to Create with Connie and Mary’s Creatively Simple Challenge!  Each month Mary and I will pick a theme.  This month the theme is Fall cards!

PICK OF THE PATCH

This one came together really quickly!  I’ve been wanting to do a stack of pumpkins!

 

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Pecan Pie cardstock, score at 5-1/2 and fold to form base card.
  • Adhere a 2 x 5-1/4 strip o All About Autumn Designer Paper to a 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Crumb Cake, then add to front of base card.
  • Cut a Scallop Rectangle with die from Basic White cardstock, add to front on an angle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • On Basic White, stamp large pumpkin with Pumpkin Pie Ink, medium with Cajun Craze Ink, and small pumpkin with Crushed Curry Ink on top of each other.  Stamp vine and leave with Old Olive Ink, stem with Pecan Pie Ink.  Hand cut all and add to front of Scallop Rectangle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Stamp “blessings” with Memento Black Ink on scrap Pecan Pie cardstock, hand-cut around and add to front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Add three Speckled Adhesive Backed Dots to background and leaf.
