OK…here’s another “ornament” using the Delicate Bauble Dies…in particular, the sold arabesque shape. Have I sold you on these dies yet? Did you see my GNOME, SANTA, GINGERBREAD, ELF and PENGUIN done with the same shape?
Yep…it’s a SNOWMAN!!! I used the same shape, just added a hat! I’ll be adding a few of these for my tags this Christmas!
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Real Red cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
- A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock is on top.
- A 1-1/2 x 5-1/4 strip of Heartwarming Hugs Designer Paper was added to the right side.
- One of the Wonderful Snowflakes was added in the upper right corner.
- Basic White cardstock was cut with the Delicate Bauble arabesque shaped die for his face. Two 1/2″ circles and five 1/4″ circles from Basic Black for the eyes and mouth. (I should have used the Matte Black Dots for his mouth!)
- The nose is punched from Pumpkin Pie cardstock with the Ice Cream Cone Builder Punch and trimmed slightly narrower.
- The hat is 1-1/4 x 2 Basic Black cardstock with a brim of 1/4 x 2-1/2 and adhered on top of the snowman face.
- A 1/8 x 2 strip of Heartwarming Hugs makes the hat band.
- A trio of Red Rhinestones were added above the band.
- The snowman was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Snowflake Hugs from Snowbody Better Stamp Set was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Real Red and punched with the Double Oval Punch. It was added over the snowflake with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Highlights were added to the eyes and nose with a White Chalk Pen.
Adorable!!! I love snowman and he is one of my favorites so far this year!
