April 2020 Maui Achievers Blog Hop

Our Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip Achievers get together each month for a Blog Hop! I’m blessed with great customers and downline who helped me achieve this year’s Maui trip!  April’s blog hop theme is ANYTHING CURRENT!

ORNATE GARDEN SUITE

The Ornate Garden Suite is a sneak peek offering from the NEW upcoming Annual Catalog!  Yes, customers can order the suite NOW and not have to wait until June for some new catalog products!  Isn’t that exciting?  It is a beautiful suite, too!  But, I actually just used a couple things from it…the Ornate Floral Embossing Folder and the Ornate Garden Designer Paper!  I’ve been challenged to create cards for my Club Kits that don’t have much stamping…my customers can switch out whatever greeting they have on hand.  So this is one for that purpose…a few punches, some designer paper and pretty embellishments make the card!

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Thick Very Vanilla cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
  • The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Early Espresso cardstock is embossed with the Ornate Floral Embossing Folder.
  • A 2-1/2 x 4 piece of Ornate Garden Designer Paper is added towards the right side.
  • A 1/2 x 4 piece of coordinating Ornate Garden Designer Paper goes across the front.
  • Mango Melody cardstock was punched twice with the Medium Daisy Punch and the centers colored with Mango Melody Ink with a sponge dauber.  They were adhered together with Monoadhesive Glue, then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Old Olive cardstock was punched with the Leaf Punch and curled on the edges, then tucked under the daisy with Monoadhesive Glue.
  • Celebrate Every Moment greeting from Honey Bee stamp set (LOVE this set for the greetings alone!!!) was stamped with Early Espresso Ink on Very Vanilla cardstock, then punched with the Label Me Fancy Punch.  It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • A couple Champagne Rhinestones were added to the tag.
  • The yellow Perennial Essence Flower Center was colored with the Bronze Stampin’ Blends Marker to change it to a brown color!  Love how that turned out!

October Greek Isles Achievers Blog Hop

It’s a brand new Stampin’ Up! year and so those Achievers who earned the Stampin’ Up! Greek Isles Trip are holding a Blog Hop!  This month our theme is the Holiday Catalog!  Wide open theme…I like…but hard to narrow it down to just one thing!  I’m SO thankful to my customers and downline who helped me earn this trip of a lifetime!  The Greek Isles has been on my bucket list since the original Mama Mia show came out!

BEAUTIFUL BLIZZARD

Although I’m certainly not a proponent of snow…I’m more of a summer girl…I do love all things snowmen and snowflakes.  Today I used the Holiday Catalog’s Beautiful Blizzard on my card!  The Frost Shimmer paint adds just the right amount of bling!

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Coastal Cabana cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
  • On top the 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Pool Party was stamped with the collage snowflake image in Bermuda Bay Ink and the background “watercolor” image in Coastal Cabana Ink.
  • The Frost Shimmer Paint was splattered all over the background and allowed to dry.
  • A 1-1/4 x 4 piece of Whisper White cardstock was stamped with the Snowflake greeting in Coastal Cabana and added across the front.
  • A 1/4 x 4 strip of Silver Glimmer Paper was added on top.
  • The snowflakes from the Blizzard Thinlits Die were cut from Whisper White and added to the front with Mini Glue Dots.
  • A bow was tied from Pool Party & Silver Baker’s Twine and added to the large snowflake at the top with a Mini Glue Dot.
  • The two smaller snowflakes at the bottom have Rhinestone Jewels in the centers.

I really LOVE the splatter of Frost Shimmer Paint…just makes it pop!  If you are in the US, you can order these products at my online store below!

February Alaska Achievers Blog Hop

I’m happy this month to be able to play along with the Alaska Achievers Monthly Blog Hop! This blog hop is for those of us who have earned the Alaska Incentive trip in July! I’m SO excited to go back to Alaska…the last Alaska Incentive trip was the first one I earned! Our theme again this month is the Occasions and Sale-A-Bration products! I decided to use my A Good Day stamp set to create a couple cards…one to wish the rain away and one for Easter!

 

 

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Thick Whisper White cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
  • On top is a 3-3/4 x 5 piece of Bubbles & Fizz Designer Paper (free SAB selection!)
  • The banner is cut from Soft Sky cardstock with the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits.
  • A 1/8″ strip of Myths & Magic 6×6 Glimmer Paper was added across the front for a little sparkle!
  • The Bring on the Sunshine image from A Good Day was stamped with Memento Black Ink on scrap Whisper White and punched with the 1-1/4 Circle Punch.  It was colored with Daffodil Delight and Soft Sky Stampin’ Write Markers.
  • The circle is layered on a 1-3/8 Scallop Circle punched from Basic Black cardstock.
  • It is popped up on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

 

Here’s hoping that greeting works!  The sun IS shining today!  lol!  OK…next up is a sweet little Easter card with a peek-a-boo bunny inside!

 

 

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Bermuda Bay cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
  • The 3-3/8 x 4-5/8 piece of Bubbles & Fizz Designer Paper was adhered to a 3-1/2 x 4-3/4 piece of Basic Gray cardstock.  A 1-3/4 Circle was punched close to the bottom.
  • A length of Lemon Lime Twist Ombre Ribbon was added across the front and tied in a bow.  Then the layer was adhered to the base.
  • A 1-1/2 Circle was punched inside the DSP opening.

  • Inside a 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Whisper White was added to the base card.
  • The dotted circle from A Good Day was stamped (inside the circle from the front) with Calypso Coral Ink.
  • A 1 x 5-1/4 strip of Bubbles & Fizz DSP was torn across the top and added to the bottom of the layer.
  • The bunny was stamped with Memento Black Ink on scrap Whisper White, cut out by hand, then added to the inside of the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  The bow is colored with Calypso Coral Marker and the bunny ears and cheeks with Pink Pirouette Marker.
  • Happy Easter from Teeny Tiny Wishes was stamped with Bermuda Bay Ink.

Isn’t that a fun stamp set? There are still a LOT of images I haven’t even used in it!
