Saturday Blog Hop – Casing Debbie Henderson 2025

It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop. For the next several weeks we will be “Casing the Designer”. Each week we have picked a designer and will select a card she designed from the past year. We will use the Colors and Layout of her design and recreate our version using new stamps/bundles and products!

This week we are “Casing Debbie Henderson”! Here’s her flower card from last year that I chose to CASE.

OCEAN FRIENDS

And here’s how I updated her card using the new Ocean Friends Bundle for a fun card! I loved the colors!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Blueberry Bushel cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock was added on top.
The 3-3/4 x 5 layer of Summer Sky 2024-26 In Color 6×6 DSP was cut with the circle from Spotlight On Nature in the center. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
On the Basic White under the open circle, the coral was stamped and stamped off with Highland Heather Ink several times. The bubbles were stamped with Summer Sky Ink.
The crab outline was stamped on scrap Basic White cardstock with Blueberry Bushel Ink and the inside solid body with stamped off Blueberry Bushel Ink. It was also colored with the light Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends on the body only. It was cut with the Ocean Friends Die and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A couple seaweed pieces were cut with the Dies from Summer Sky cardstock and tucked in the side of the circle.
The greeting from Ocean Friends was stamped with Memento Black Ink on a 3/4 x 3 piece of Blueberry Bushel cardstock and cut with a flag end. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A trio of Two-Toned Sparkle Gems were added to the background (LOVE the colors on these gems!)

CSF855 – Fruit Salad DSP

It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge! This week is a fun sketch!

FRUIT SALAD DESIGNER PAPER

A quick card done with the Sale-A-Bration level 1 selection, Fruit Salad 6×6 Designer Paper! SOOOO fun with all these fruit images! I really wish they would have offered a stamp set to coordinate with them! But…it is easy enough to cut some of the images out by hand.

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Pecan Pie cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Fruit Salad DSP was added to the background.
The Stylish Shapes circle was cut from Crushed Curry cardstock and adhered to the front.
The 1-1/2 x 3-1/2 piece of Basic Whtie cardstock was embossed with the Sale-A-Bration Level 1 Starstruck Embossing Folder and adhered over the circle.
The pineapple was hand-cut from the Fruit Salad DSP and added to front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The Simply Said stamp set greeting was stamped with Early Espresso Ink on Crushed Curry cardstock and cut with the Stylish Shapes Die. It was added over the pineapple with Stampin’ Dimensionals on each end.
A trio of Antique Pearls were added to the background.

CS179 – Ocean Friends

It’s a new month for our Creatively Simple challenges and here is this month’s theme!

OCEAN FRIENDS

This bundle is one of my favorites in the Mini Catalog! I’ve used a couple of the coordinating DSP patterns on this card. You could also cut out the lobster with the die to make this card even easier to make…but mine is stamped.

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Thick Basic White c/s, scored at 5-½ and folded
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Summer Splash c/s is embossed with the Soft Waves Embossing Folder and added to the base card.
1 2-1/2 x 4-1/2 piece of Calypso Coral check Friends of the Ocean DSP is added to the background towards the right side.
The 1 x 4 Coral multi print DSP is added across the check pattern towards the bottom.
Cut large and small seaweed with Die from 1-1/2 x 3 Lemon Lime Twist and adhere to the front over the left side of the DSP.
On 2-1/4 x 3-3/4 Basic White c/s stamp outline of lobster with Calypso Coral Ink, stamp inside with Pumpkin Pie Ink. Cut with Die and add to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
On 3/4 x 2-1/4 Basic White c/s stamp greeting with Berry Burst Ink, cut end to a point, add to front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Add three Sunny Day Iridescent Dots, 1 small of each color, Summer Splash, Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie, to the background.

IM370 – Hearts of Elegance

Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration is a fun bowl of sewn fabric hearts!

HEARTS OF ELEGANCE

I really like the hand-made look of these sewn hearts! Some designer paper and ruffing up the edges of my cardstock achieved a similar look!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Poppy Parade cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Toadstool Gardens 6×6 Designer Paper was added to the front.
Two hearts were cut from Marbled Elegance 12×12 DSP using the medium Hearts of Elegance Die.
Two hearts were cut from Basic Beige cardstock using the medium Hearts of Elegance Die. They were stamped with the Hearts of Elegance greetings in Poppy Parade Ink.
Each of the edges were roughed up by using my fingernail.
The top two hearts were adhered to the front and the bottom two hearts were added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Two small hearts were cut with the Classic Weddings Die from Basic Beige cardstock and adhered to the striped hearts.
A trio of Antique Pearls were added in the background.

Saturday Blog Hop – Best Sweetheart

It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop. This week we are featuring our Best Sweetheart Valentine card…one for a special person!

CLASSIC WEDDINGS

I was definitely thinking of my husband when making this card…he is a car fanatic!!! Well, maybe not a pink color so much, but I love it.

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Thick Basic White cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Marbled Elegance DSP (Online Exclusive) was added to the front.
Another 3/4 x 3-3/4 strip of speckled Marbled Elegance DSP was added towards the bottom.
The car from Classic Weddings was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock and the solid image with Melon Mambo Ink. The wheels with Memento Black Ink and the window with Pool Party Ink. It was cut with the car outline die.
The window grid, taillights, trunk handle, and bumper were cut with the ties from Smoky Slate cardstock. They were adhered to the car. The car was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The banner was cut from Basic White cardstock with the Classic Weddings Die and stamped with the Hearts of Elegance greeting in Memento Black Ink. It was added to the trunk with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The heart trio was stamped with Bubble Bath Ink and cut with the Classic Weddings Die, then added to the banner and one to the background.
Some Heart Sequins were added to the background.

CSF854 – Pick a Season

It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge! This week is a pretty color challenge!

PICK A SEASON

My order with the Sale-A-Bration stamp set, Pick A Season, just came in and I decided to use it for this challenge! It came together really quickly!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is a unique size, 4-1/4 x 8-1/2 Daffodil Delight cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
A 2 x 4 piece of Floral Delight 12×12 Designer Paper was added towards the bottom.
A 3 x 4-1/4 layer of Real Red cardstock was added towards top making sure to fit the 5-1/2 length card size.
The 2-3/4 x 4 piece of Basic White cardstock was stamped with the tree leaves and grass in Garden Green Ink, the trunk in Pecan Pie Ink, the hearts and greeting with Real Red Ink. It was added to the Real Red layer on front.
A trio of Transparent Adhesive Backed Dots were added in the background

HEART SHAPED

I’m combining Heart Shaped Bundle with Hearts of Elegance Dies for an easy Valentine!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Bubble Bath cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White was water colored with Melon Mambo Ink using a Water Painter in the upper left corner.
The medium heart (that fits the wreath heart) was cut with the Hearts of Elegance Die from Marbled Elegance Designer Paper. It was added over the water-colored scribbles with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The wreath heart from Heart Shaped (SAB) was cut from Melon Mambo cardstock and adhered to the other heart.
The greeting from Heart Shaped was stamped with Memento Black Ink on a 3/8 x 3 strip of Bubble Bath cardstock and cut apart, then added to the front with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A trio of Heart Sequins were added next to the greeting.

IM369 – Terrific Toadstools

Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration is a whimsical mushroom print!

TERRIFIC TOADSTOOLS

Of course, I had to pull out my Terrific Toadstools stamp set for this challenge! But I love the soft pinks and purples that are featured!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Fresh Freesia cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Toadstool Gardens Designer Paper was added on top.
A 2 x 4 piece of Bubble Bath cardstock was torn across the top, stamped with the greeting in Petunia Pop Ink and added to the bottom of the DSP.
The large toadstool top was stamped with Petunia Pop Ink, the medium and small toadstools with Highland Heather Ink. The stems were stamped with Pool Party Ink and the leaves with Fresh Freesia Ink. All were hand-cut. You could use the punch for some of the pieces, but I wanted the white outline around them so they popped off the background. All were added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Several of the white Adhesive Backed Sequin Trio embellishments were added in the background and along the ground.
