It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge! This week is a fun sketch challenge! We hope you play along!

SO SINCERE

I just purchased this So Sincere stamp set…I think it will be useful for a lot of cards I make…and it has this vertical happy birthday greeting! This card was SUPER simple to make by using the Wildflower Birthday Specialty 12×12 DSP

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Pretty in Pink cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 3-1/4 x 4-3/4 piece of Wildflower Birthday DSP was added to the bottom left side of the base card.
Happy Birthday from So Sincere stamp set was stamped with Memento Black Ink in the upper right area.
The large blossom sticker die-cut element was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A trio of blue Party Dots were added in the background.

CS183 – Mixed Florals

This month our Creatively Simple challenge theme is Easter as the focus on our cards! Even though Easter is late in the Spring this year, it is always nice to have ideas to get a jump start on them!

MIXED FLORALS

Yellow, green and blue just are SO springy looking so I focused on those colors for today’s Easter card!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Lemon Lime Twist cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 2-1/2 x 5-1/2 strip of Floral Delight DSP was added down the center.
The 1-1/2 x 5-1/2 piece of Old Olive cardstock was torn across the top and bottom and added to the front.
The large flower from Mixed Florals was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock and water colored with Lemon Lolly, Old Olive and Balmy Blue Inks. It was cut with the Spotlight on Nature circle die and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A trio of Transparent Adhesive Backed Dots were added to the background.
Easter Greetings from Storybook Friends stamp set was stamped with Memento Black Ink on 3/4 x 2-1/2 Old Olive cardstock and the ends torn. It was adhered to the circle.

IM374 – Hearts of Elegance

Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day!

HEARTS OF ELEGANCE

Hearts are kind of my standby solution for shamrocks and four-leaf clover when Stampin’ Up! doesn’t have a current stamp that I have. Hearts of Elegance had several different options to use so I went with the stamped leaf heart.

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Garden Green cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Full of Life Designer Paper was added on top using primarily the green and gold colors in the prints.
A 1-1/4 x 4 strip of Garden Green cardstock was placed across the bottom portion.
The Everyday Arch was cut with the die from Basic White cardstock and stamped with the Throughout the Year sentiment in Garden Green Ink and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Three of the leaf hearts were inked with Lemon Lime Twist and brushed with Garden Green Ink using a Blending Brush to give a two-tone look and stamped on Basic White cardstock. They were cut with the Hearts of Elegance Dies and added to the arch with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A stem was hand-cut from Lemon Lime Twist cardstock and added to the arch.
A trio of green Transparent Adhesive Backed Dots were added to the center of the hearts.
Some Gold Textured Thread was tied in a bow and added to the stem with a Mini Glue Dot.

It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge! This week is a color challenge! We hope you play along!

FRIENDLY SEAGULLS

I thought these colors were more masculine, so I used the Timeless Plaid 6×6 Designer Paper to build my card. And I wanted to use the Friendly Seagulls one more time before Sale-A-Bration is over!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Cajun Craze cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Boho Blue cardstock is embossed with the Soft Waves embossing folder and added to the front.
Two 2-1/4 x 2-1/4 squares of Timeless Plaid DSP were added side by side in the center.
A 2-1/4 x 2-1/4 square of Basic White cardstock was stamped with the seagull, fries and greeting in Memento Black Ink. It was colored with Boho Blue, Cajun Craze and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends. The ground was blended with Pebbled Path Ink using a Blending Brush. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The I love You More greeting was stamped with Memento Black Ink on a 1/2 x 2 piece of Cajun Craze cardstock and adhered to the front.
Four Dappled Dots were added to the background.

This month our Creatively Simple challenge theme is Designer Paper as the focus on our cards!

OCEAN FRIENDS

I know I’ve said this before, but I love the colors in this Friends of the Ocean DSP! So vibrant! This week’s design features three of the patterns in that package!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Lemon Lime Twist cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Summer Sky cardstock is added on top.
Three patterns from the Friends of the Ocean DSP were cut 1 x 4-3/4 and added to the front.
A 1 x 4-1/4 strip of Basic White cardstock was stamped with the Ocean Friends greeting in Summer Sky Ink towards the right side.
The two seaweeds were cut with the dies from Summer Sky cardstock and added along the top of the Basic White strip.
The Ocean Friends crab was stamped with the outline in Summer Sky Ink and the solid inside with Lemon Lime Twist Ink. It was cut with the die and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A trio of Transparent Adhesive Backed Dots were added to the background.

Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration is a colorful sea creative!

OCEAN FRIENDS

Of course, I had to use our Ocean Friends stamp set for my card! I love this bundle…so fun…and a nice departure from flowers!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Basic Beige cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Blueberry Bushel was embossed with the Soft Waves Embossing Folder and added to the front.
A 2 x 4 piece of Timeless Plaid Designer Paper was added across the center.
I cut the Basic Beige cardstock with the Everyday Arches Dies and stamped across the bottom with the coral image in Basic Beige Ink. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The large coral was cut from Basic White cardstock with the Ocean Friends Die and cut in half. I only used a portion of it on the arch.
I stamped the lobster outline with Blueberry Bushel Ink on Basic White cardstock and the solid lobster with Azure Afternoon (I love the bright blue!) It was cut with the Ocean Friends Die and added to the arch with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I omit stamped only the word Hello on a 1/2 x 2 strip of Basic White with Blueberry Bushel Ink and cut the end at an angle.
A trio of Antique Pearls were added in the background.
Some Linen Thread was tied in a bow and added to the coral with a Mini Glue Dot.

Saturday Blog Hop – Casing Cindy Elam 2025

It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop. For the next several weeks we will be “Casing the Designer”. Each week we have picked a designer and will select a card she designed from the past year. We will use the Colors and Layout of her design and recreate our version using new stamps/bundles and products!

This week we are “Casing Cindy Elam”!

THANKFUL GARDEN

Here’s a brand new Online Exclusive bundle called Thankful Garden that is available for customers to purchase beginning March 3! Here’s how I recreated her card!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Thick Basic White cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of the black and white grid pattern in Lovely Garden DSP was colored with Summer Splash Ink using a Blending Brush and added to the front.
The arch from Everyday Arches Dies was cut from Summer Splash cardstock and added to the center.
The flowers from Thankful Garden were stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White and water colored using Poppy Parade and Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Write Markers. It was cut with the Thankful Garden Dies and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The leaf cluster was cut with the Thankful Garden Die from Basic White cardstock and adhered under the top of the flower.
The greeting was stamped with Summer Splash Ink on Basic White cardstock and cut with the circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies.
A trio of gold Low Profile Dots were added to the background.

OCEAN FRIENDS

I am really loving this Ocean Friends bundle and the DSP! So colorful! Here’s another card I did using the sketch and this set!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Summer Splash cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White is embossed with the Soft Waves Embossing Folder and added to the front.
A 2 x 3-3/4 piece of Friends of the Ocean starfish print DSP was added to a 2-1/4 x 4 piece of Summer Splash cardstock and adhered to the front.
A 1-1/2 x 5 strip of coordinating Friends of the Ocean stripe DSP was added diagonally across the front and trimmed.
The Spotlight on Nature circle was cut from Granny Apple Green and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The coral was cut from Pumpkin Pie cardstock and then cut in half. I used a portion and adhered on the right of the circle.
The crab outline was stamped with Summer Splash Ink on Basic White cardstock and the insides stamped off with Summer Splash Ink for a lighter version. It was cut with the Die and added to the circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals around the coral.
A trio of Sunny Day Iridescent Dots were added to the background, one in each color.
Hello only was inked with Summer Splash ink and stamped on 1/2 x 2 piece of Basic White cardstock and the end trimmed at an angle. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
