CCMC574 – Wiggle Worm

Another Thursday and time for the Create with Connie and Mary weekly challenge! This time it’s a fun sketch…come play along on our Facebook page!

I had a couple leftover Wiggle Worm elements sitting in the dish on my desk, so decided to pull something together with them! I love using up the “parts” on my cards!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Old Olive cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
On top the 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Whisper White cardstock is embossed with the Layered Leaves Embossing Folder.
A 1 x 4-1/4 piece of Dinoroar Designer Paper was added across the front, with a 1/4 x 4-1/4 strip of Lovey Lipstick cardstock placed on top.
The Stitched Circle Shape was cut from Pool Party cardstock and stamped with the Wiggle Worm greeting in Memento Black Ink and the cloud with Pool Party Ink.
The worm and ladybug were stamped with Memento Black Ink and colored with Old Olive, Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green Blends, and Lovely Lipstick Blends. They were cut with the Wiggly Bugs Dies, along with the grass die from Old Olive cardstock. All were placed on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Wiggle Worm Again

See…I told you I’d be back with another Wiggle Worm card! This one is another one of my favorites (let’s be honest…they are ALL my favorites!), but this little worm is SO cute! I often call my grandkids, “wiggle worm”, because they can’t seem to sit still! This was one of my swap cards for the new Annual Catalog.

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Thick Whisper White, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
On top is a 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Pretty Peacock.
The 3 x 5 layer of Granny Apple Green is stamped with the speckle stamp in the upper left and lower right corners with Garden Green ink.
A 2 x 4 piece of Dinoroar Designer Paper was added towards the left side.
A 1/4 x 5 strip of Garden Green was placed over top with two Rhinestone jewels at the top and bottom.
A Layering Circle was cut from Whisper White cardstock and the grass was stamped with Garden Green, the ground watercolored with Crumb Cake Ink and the speckle stamp with Crumb Cake Ink.
Wiggle Worm greeting was stamped with Memento Black Ink and the cloud with Pool Party.
The worm was stamped on scrap Whisper White and colored with the Granny Apple Green and Pineapple Punch Stampin’ Blends. It was cut with the Wiggly Bugs Die and popped up on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The Whisper White circle was added to a Scallop Layering Circle cut from Pretty Peacock and added on top with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

SOOOO fun, isn’t it??? I really love this card! OK, stay tuned for another Wiggle Worm card later this week!

Wiggle Worm

Hi everyone!!! I am usually so busy with blogging for our Create with Connie and Mary challenges that I don’t get a chance to blog some of my other cards. I have SEVERAL swap cards I’ve made that I haven’t shared! So, here is the first one using Wiggle Worm that I did for the Stampin’ Up! Trip Achievers Swap!

WIGGLE WORM BUNDLE

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Old Olive cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
On top is a 3-1/2 x 4-3/4 layer of Shaded Spruce cardstock.
The 3-1/8 x 4-5/8 layer of Whisper White cardstock has a 2 x 3-1/8 piece of Garden Lane Designer Paper added to the bottom.
The grass was cut with the Wiggle Bugs Die from Shaded Spruce cardstock and placed across the seam.
Cute as a Bug was stamped with Memento Black Ink and the clouds with Mint Macaron.
The ladybug was stamped with Memento Black Ink on scrap Whisper White cardstock, colored with Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends and cut with the Wiggle Bugs die. She was popped up in the grass with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A Real Red Rhinestone jewel was added next to the greeting!

That Wiggle Worm set is really one of my favorites! You’ll see a couple more swap cards I did using this bundle, too!

Saturday Blog Hop – Kids Birthday

Happy Saturday! It’s time for another Saturday Blog Hop! The challenge this week is “Kids Birthday” cards. I always need ideas for those! I just got the new Wiggle Worm Stamp Bundle, so just had to try it out!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Smoky Slate cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
On top is a 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Pineapple Punch cardstock.
A 2 x 5-1/4 piece of Basic Gray Neutrals “honeycomb” pattern was added down the center.
The 3/4 x 4 piece of Smoky Slate was added towards the bottom.
The bees were stamped with Memento Black Ink on scrap Whisper White, colored with the Pineapple Punch Blends, then cut with the Wiggly Bugs dies. They were popped up on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The paths were hand drawn with a Basic Black Marker.
Before adding the bottom bee, Silver Thread was wrapped in a circle several times, then adhered with a Stampin’ Dimensional, then placed on the card.
You Amazzze me was stamped with Memento Black Ink on scrap Whisper White and punched with the Timeless Label Punch.
Two yellow dots from Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots were added to the tag and placed on the front.

Isn’t that CUTE!!! I love this set! I’ve done several cards using this set for swaps, so will be showing those off soon! Next up is our Create with Connie and Mary website, then on to creative Mary Brown, or head backwards to see Melissa’s fabulous card!
