Happy Monday! It’s time for our Create with Connie and Mary Inspiration Monday challenge!  To me, this photo is both spooky (bats) and fun (colors!)  Quite the combination!

 

Banner Year

The bats in Stampin’ Up!’s Banner Year are actually kind of cute, especially when paired with these bright colors!  To represent the “balloons” in the inspiration photo, I used the image in Life is Beautiful stamp set!

Stampin’ Details:

    • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Pumpkin Pie cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
    • The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Whisper White was stamped with the dotted image in Life is Beautiful stamp set with Bermuda Bay, Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight Inks on the top and the bottom.
    • It was embossed with the Cobwebs Embossing Folder and added to the base card.
    • The greeting from Banner Year was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Pumpkin Pie and punched with the Timeless Label Punch, then popped up on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
    • The bats from Banner Year were stamped six times with Memento Black Ink on scrap Whisper White and hand cut, then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
    • Some Artistry Blooms Sequins were added to the background for a little bling!

Saturday Blog Hop – Autumn Essentials

Happy Saturday! This week our Saturday Blog Hop theme is “Autumn Essentials”!  We are showing off our favorite things of fall!  One of my most favorite things about fall in the Midwest are the changing colors of leaves.  Yellows, reds, oranges and greens are SO pretty decorating the hills.  We normally will take a long Sunday drive just to see them!  This is a quick little box I made up to hold a fall Bath & Body Works hand sanitizer to give away as a gift for my tablemates at a recent scrapbooking retreat I attended.

Stampin’ Details:

  • The bottom is 5-1/4 x 5-15/16 of Cajun Craze cardstock, scored at 2″ on each side, trim the ends and form the box bottom.
  • The sleeve around it is 2 x 11, scored at 5 and 6-1/4, then adhered outside around the bottom (and attached only at the bottom).
  • A 1-3/4 x 4-12 piece of Gilded Autumn Designer Paper is added to the front.
  • A 1/8 hole was punched at the top and some Linen Thread tied in a bow.
  • The Stitched Leaves Dies were cut from Mint Macaron and Cajun Craze, then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • The label from Tasteful Labels was cut from Very Vanilla cardstock and stamped with the greeting from Autumn Goodness stamp set in Early Espresso Ink and added with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • The acorn from Banner Year was stamped with Crumb Cake and colored with the Early Espresso Marker for the top.  It was hand-cut and added to the label with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • A couple Champagne Rhinestones were added to decorate the leaves.

Saturday Blog Hop – Bountiful Blessings

Happy Saturday! This week our Saturday Blog Hop theme is “Bountiful Blessings”!  I really have SO much to be thankful for in my life and definitely have been blessed!  So, it is with a grateful heart that I made this card.

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Crumb Cake cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
  • On top is a 3-3/4 x 5 layer of Blackberry Bliss cardstock, embossed with the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder.
  • Two strips of 1 x 5-1/2 Plaid Tidings Designer Paper were added to the left side.
  • The Crumb Cake cardstock was cut with the Tasteful Labels Die, then stamped with the leaf from Banner Year in Crumb Cake Ink.
  • Three pumpkins from Banner Year were stamped with Pumpkin Pie Ink and the stems with Garden Green Ink on Whisper White cardstock, then hand-cut and added to the label with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • The greeting from Banner Year was stamped with Garden Green Ink on Whisper White cardstock and cut with the Tasteful Label Die, then tucked under the pumpkins with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • A Champagne Rhinestone was added to one of the pumpkins.

Happy Monday! It’s time for our Create with Connie and Mary Inspiration Monday challenge! This week’s inspiration is some yummy looking fall cookies!

 

 

I’ve used Banner Year again for my card!  I thought the little pumpkins would work perfectly.

 

Stampin’ Details:

    • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Early Espresso cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
    • The 3-3/4 x 5 piece of Plaid Tidings was added to the front.
    • A 1 x 4 piece of Early Espresso cardstock was added across the front.
    • The two labels were cut from Pumpkin Pie and Whisper White cardstock with the Tasteful Label Dies and adhered together, then added on front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
    • Two pumpkins, stem/leaves from Banner Year Stamp Set were stamped with Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive Inks on Whisper White, then hand-cut and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
    • The greeting from Banner Year was stamped with Early Espresso Ink on 1/2 x 3 piece of Whisper White, cut the end at an angle, then added with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
    • Two Gold Glimmer Dots were added above the greeting for a little bling!
