Happy Monday! It’s time for our Create with Connie and Mary Inspiration Monday challenge!  This week we have a pretty tablescape using USA’s patriotic colors!  Those of you who get the 4th of July holiday off work today…I hope you are enjoying your long weekend!

 

IN BLOOM BUNDLE

The In Bloom Bundle remains one of my all time favorite floral sets….mainly because of all those stitched flowers and leaves dies!  So happy that it remains in the catalog for another year!  I grabbed it to make my bouquet, along with the Mason Jar Punch for my vase!

Stampin’ Details:

    • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Pacific Point cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
    • The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Crumb Cake was embossed with the Tasteful Textures Embossing Folder.
    • A 1-1/4 x 4 piece of In Good Taste Designer Paper was added to the bottom for the “table”.
    • The mason jar was punched from Pacific Point cardstock and embossed with the Dots Embossing Folder, then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
    • Using the Pierced Blooms Dies, the larger flowers were cut from Basic White, the smaller flowers from Real Red, the leaf clusters from Pear Pizzazz, and the smaller leaves from Mossy Meadow cardstocks.  All were assembled and added to the vase with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
    • The bow was made from doubled Linen Thread tied in a bow and added with a Mini Glue Dot.
    • The greeting from In Bloom stamp set was stamped with Real Red Ink on Basic White, then punched with the Double Oval Punch.
    • Some yellow Holiday Rhinestones were added to the center of the larger flowers and Basic Rhinestones were added to the smaller flowers.

IM176 – Inspiration Monday

Happy Monday! It’s time for our Create with Connie and Mary Inspiration Monday challenge!  This week we have a graphic vase print!

IN BLOOM BUNDLE

Hmmm, this one was a little more challenging for me!  I pulled out my trusty In Bloom Bundle to work out my graphic design.

Stampin’ Details:

    • The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Bumblebee cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
    • The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White was added on top.
    • The long label from Tasteful Labels Dies was added on the right side.
    • The two sized flowers, leaves and two stems were cut from Basic Black with the Pierced Blooms Dies, the centers from Bumblebee cardstock.  They were placed and adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
    • The greeting was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Bumblebee cardstock and cut with the Tasteful Label Die.  It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
    • Three Matte Black Dots were added to the label.

Happy Thursday!  It’s time for another Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge, this time a pretty color combination!

IN BLOOM BUNDLE

Although I used the In Bloom flower bundle, I combined with the Sea & Sand Designer Paper for a soft, pastel look!  I love this type of fun fold, too!

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 4-1/4 x 9, scored at 5-1/2 and folded with the shorter flap on front.
  • The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Whisper White was embossed with the Painted Texture Embossing Folder and added to the inside.
  • A 3 x 4 piece of Sand & Sea Designer Paper was wrapped with the Seaside Spray Metallic Ribbon and tied in a knot.  It was added to the front shorter flap.
  • The largest circle from Layering Circles Dies was cut from Basic White cardstock and stamped with the greeting from In Bloom stamp set in Memento Black Ink.  It was layered on the largest scallop circle from Layering Circles Dies, cut from Seaside Spray cardstock.  Then it was added half way on the front of the shorter flap.
  • Using the Pierced Blooms Dies, the leaf vine was cut from Seaside Spray c/s, the larger flower from Flirty Flamingo c/s, the smaller flower and center flower from So Saffron c/s, the center flowers from Seaside Spray c/s.  They were adhered together and added to the bottom of the circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • A trio of Opal Rounds were added in the centers and background.

Saturday Blog Hop – “Nights in White Satin”

This month we will be using song titles for our inspiration.  This week’s blog hop theme is “Nights in White Satin” sung by The Moody Blues!  We will be making cards that are predominately white!  I admit I’m slightly obsessed with the Pierced Blooms Dies…I just love the stitching on them!  So, I used this set once again!

IN BLOOM STAMPS & PIERCED BLOOMS DIES

 

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base 4-1/4 x 11 Thick Basic White, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
  • The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White was cut with the Stitched Whimsy Dies.
  • The greeting from In Bloom stamp set was stamped with Memento Black Ink.
  • A variety of Pierced Blooms flowers and leaves were cut from Basic White cardstock, then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Pearl embellishments were added to the centers and background.

Saturday Blog Hop – Spring Flowers

This week’s blog hop theme is Spring Flowers…should be pretty easy, right?  Stampin’ Up! has a wide variety of floral stamp sets!  I have to say I knew immediately that I wanted to use the Pierced Blooms Dies again!  They are just so gorgeous with their stitching!  I kept this one very simple.

PIERCED BLOOMS

 

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Thick Basic White, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
  • On top is a 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Granny Apple Green.
  • A 3-3/4 x 5 piece of Fine Art Floral Designer Paper was added on top.
  • The tag in the Pierced Blooms Die was cut from Basic White cardstock, then stamped with the greeting in Springtime Joy with Memento Black Ink.  It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • The flower was cut from Magenta Madness with the Pierced Blooms Die, the center from Daffodil Delight and the leaves from Granny Apple Green.
  • Some White Baker’s Twine was tied in a bow and added to the leaves with a Mini Glue Dot.
  • A trio of Magenta Madness In Color Enamel Dots were added to the background.

Happy Monday! It’s time for our Create with Connie and Mary Inspiration Monday challenge!  This week we have some FUN floral jewelry pieces to inspire us!

 

IN BLOOM BUNDLE

I am absolutely IN LOVE with the Pierced Blooms Dies that go along with the In Bloom stamp set!  The detail on them is gorgeous!  And, they are a perfect match for today’s challenge, aren’t they?

 

Stampin’ Details:

    • The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Blushing Bride cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
    • A 3-1/4 x 5 piece of Peony Garden Designer Paper was added on top.
    • A 1/2 x 5-1/2 strip of Basic White cardstock was added down the left side.
    • The greeting was stamped with Night of Navy on Basic White cardstock, then cut with the label in the Pierced Blooms Dies and added to the front.
    • The flowers were cut from Blushing Bride, Flirty Flamingo and Basic White cardstocks and the leaves from Night of Navy cardstock with the Pierced Blooms Dies and stacked together with Stampin’ Dimensionals on the front.
    • Midnight Muse Enamel Dots are in the center of the larger flowers and Basic Rhinestones in the small flowers in the background.

Hello again!  It’s time for our Create with Connie and Mary Thursday challenge!  This time it is an unusual sketch!

IN BLOOM

I decided to use my In Bloom Stamp set with Pierced Blooms Dies…actually, I only used the stamp set for the greeting because the dies are SO gorgeous with all the stitching on them!  Since the sketch really called for it, I used made a square card…haven’t done that in a while!

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 5 x 10 Soft Sea Foam cardstock, scored at 5 and folded.
  • On top is a 4-3/4 x 4-3/4 piece of Basic White cardstock.
  • The 4-1/2 x 4-1/2 piece of Rococo Rose cardstock was embossed with the Old World Paper embossing folder, then added to the front.
  • A 3″ square of Paper Blooms Designer Paper (FREE SAB!) was cut in half diagonally, then added to the front of the card with points meeting in the center.
  • The Stitched Shape large Circle was cut from Basic White cardstock and adhered in the center.
  • The blooms were cut from Rococo Rose, Blushing Bride and Daffodil Delight, and the leaves from Soft Sea Foam cardstocks with the Pierced Blooms Dies, then arranged on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • A 1/2 x 3-3/4 strip of Garden Green was added over the circle.
  • The greeting from In Bloom stamp set was stamped with Memento Black on a 3/4 x 2 piece of Basic White with Memento Black Ink.
  • A trio of Pastel Pearls were added to the background.
