IM413 – Snowflake Kisses

Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration is a couple wood slice snowmen! Aren’t they cute?

SNOWFLAKE KISSES

Again…I’m using the greeting from the Snowflake Kisses stamp set on my card! I love them…this set is a keeper for me! I looked through my supply of designer paper for a wood print…finally found it in the Nests of Winter Designer Paper!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1//4 x 11 Crumb Cake cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Cloud Cover cardstock was stamped with the Falling Snow Background Stamp with Cloud Cover Ink. It was added to the front.
A 2 x 4 piece of Basic White cardstock was torn across the top and then stamped with the Snowflake Kisses greeting in Memento Black Ink.
The snowman was built with three Stylish Shapes circles cut from the Nests of Winter DSP, then were adhered together and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Using the Gingerbread Man Dies, the hat and scarf were cut from Crumb Cake cardstock and the hat trimmed down to fit the circle. The eyes and buttons were cut from Basic Black cardstock and the arms were cut from Early Espresso cardstock. All were assembled on the snowman.
The nose is a small triangle cut from Pumpkin Pie cardstock and the mouth is hand-drawn with a Black marker.
Two Crumb Cake Pearls of Beauty were added to the background and a white one added to the scarf.

CSF896 – Festive Friends

It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge! It’s a holiday color combination this week!

FESTIVE FRIENDS

I’m obsessed with this little snowman. I used him on my own Christmas cards this year and still have my tags to make using him! So, here’s one more idea using him with these colors!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Cherry Cobbler cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded to form the base card.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Old Olive cardstock was added on top.
The 3-3/4 x 5 layer of Pool Party was stamped and stamped off with the tree along the width of the background.
A 2 x 5 piece of Basic White cardstock was torn across the top. It was stamped with the greeting in Cherry Cobbler Ink and added to the bottom of the Pool Party. Then it was added to the Old Olive layer on front.
The tree was cut from Old Olive cardstock using the Die and adhere using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The snowman was stamped on Basic White cardstock with Memento Black Ink and colored with Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler, Pool Party Stampin’ Blends with a little Pumpkin Pie for his nose. He was cut with the Festive Friends Die and added next to the tree with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Three sets of snowflakes from the Festive Friends Dies were cut from Basic White cardstock and adhere with Monoadhesive Glue to the background randomly.
A trio of blue Traditional Sparkling Sequins were added to the snowbank.

It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge! It’s a pretty pastel color challenge to try this week!

FESTIVE FRIENDS

Yep…I’m back with my Festive Friends again! Can’t stop playing with them! This one is so pretty in the soft colors!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Fresh Freesia cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Florals in Bloom DSP was added on top (love this Cloud Cover stripe!)
A 1-3/4 x 4 piece of Lemon Lolly cardstock was added across the center with a 1/4 x 4 strip of Fresh Freesia cardstock on top towards the bottom.
The tag from Festive Friends Dies was cut from Cloud Cover cardstock and stamped with the snowflake in Cloud Cover Ink across the front.
A 1 x 3 strip of Basic White cardstock was torn across the top and cut with the bottom of the tag die. It was adhere to the bottom of the Cloud Cover tag for the snowbank. The tag was added to the front on a diagonal with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The snowman was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock and colored with Lemon Lolly, Fresh Freesia, Cloud Cover and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends. It was cut with the Die and added to the tag with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The greeting was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Fresh Freesia cardstock and cut with the tag die.
The greeting tag was attached to the larger tag with Fresh Freesia Velvet Ribbon tied in a bow.
A snowflake was cut with the die from Basic White cardstock and added to the bottom of the tag.
Three clear Faceted Snowflakes were added to the snowflake and the background.

Saturday Blog Hop – Let It Snow

It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop. This week we are featuring snow cards…one of my favorite themes!

SNOWY WONDER

Of course, I have quite the selection of snowman, snowflake, snow stamps and dies! I really like the snowman in Snowy Wonder because he is nice and easy to stamp and go! There are not a lot of fussy pieces to cut and assemble to make him look complete.

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Pool Party cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Snowy Scenes Designer Paper is cut with the heart shape from the new online exclusive, Heart of Elegance dies. (Save that heart for another project!) Add the layer to the front of the base card with Foam Strips,
The snowman, hat, and candy cane were all stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White and cut with the Snowy Wonder Dies. They were colored with Poppy Parade, Pumpkin Pie, Bubble Bath and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends. They were added to the inside of the heart with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A hat band was just a sliver cut from Poppy Parade cardstock.
The scarf is Real Red & White Baker’s Twine tied in a knot around his neck.
Three snowflakes from Snowy Wonder were cut with the die from Basic White and added around the heart.
The Real Red & White Peppermints were added to the center of the snowflakes and on his hat band.
Let it Snow from Snowy Wonder stamp set was stamped with Memento Black Ink inside the heart.

LOVE this card…kind of wish I’d have used it for my Christmas card this year! Oh well…mine are already in the mail! IM346 – Snowy Wonder

Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. Isn’t this snowman winter print so pretty! I wouldn’t mind having it in my house!

SNOWY WINTER

It was fun to build this little snowman scene using Snowy Winter! He’s a CUTE snowman!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Misty Moonlight cardstock, score at 4-1/4 and folded.
A 3-3/4 x 5 layer of Misty Moonlight cardstock was stamped across the top with the flurries image in White Craft Ink.
The moon is a 1″ circle from Basic White cardstock, sponged with Balmy Blue Ink and adhered.
A 3 x 5 piece of Basic White cardstock was torn across the top and added in layers for the snowbank. Some Balmy Blue Ink was slightly brushed on the tops with a Blending Brush.
On Basic White, I stamped five large mountains with Night of Navy Ink, the cabin with Pecan Ink, three trees with Shaded Spruce Ink and the snowman and hat with Memento Black Ink. All were cut with the Snowy Wonder Dies and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The cabin windows were colored with Daffodil Delight and door with Cajun Craze, the snowman nose with Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends.
Some Red & White Baker’s Twine was added to the snowman for his scarf.
A White Loose Snowflake was adhered to his hat.
Let it Snow was stamped with Night of Navy Ink in the snowbank.

IM349 – Snowy Wonder

Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration challenge is a colorful ice cream cone! Look at all those flavors!

SNOWY WONDER

So, I kind of went around about way to pulling this card together! I knew I wanted circles in the background like the scoops of ice cream, but debated on what stamp set to use! I was thinking ice cream is cold…snow is cold…a snowman…why not use the new Snowy Wonder Bundle? It worked!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Basic Beige cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
Circles were cut with the Spotlight on Nature Dies from Petunia Pop, Granny Apple Green, Pretty in Pink, Early Espresso and Gorgeous Grape and then assembled on a 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic Beige cardstock.
The smallest two snowflakes from Snowy Wonder stamp set were stamped on the circles using VersaMark Ink (it has been a little bit since I’ve done this tone-on-tone technique!)
The 1-1/2 x 4 piece of Basic White cardstock was torn across the top and added to the bottom for a ground of snow. The greeting was stamped with Memento Black Ink towards the left.
The snowman and hat from Snowy Wonder were stamped with Memento Black Ink and two trees with Granny Apple Green Ink on Basic White cardstock. They were cut with the Dies. The trunks were colored with Pecan Pie, the nose colored with Pumpkin Pie, and the shadows around the body with Light Pool Party Stampin’ Blends. They were added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Some White Loose Snowflakes were added to the background circles, the top of the trees, and on his hat!

CSF834 – Filled with Cheer

It’s Thursday and you know that means it is time for a Create with Stamping Friends Thursday Challenge. It’s a different color combo challenge this week! I’m not sure I would have put these colors together myself…but it works!

FILLED WITH CHEER

I think the little snowman in this set is darling and I hadn’t had a chance to use him yet! So, I thought these colors would work well! I just had to add a little orange for his nose!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Pebbled Path cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Soft Sea Foam was embossed with the Snowflake Sky Embossing Folder (Online Exclusive).
A 2 x 4 strip of Pebbled Path stripe from the 2023-25 In Color 6×6 DSP was added along the right side.
A 1-1/2 x 3-1/2 piece of Moody Mauve cardstock was overlapped on the front.
The rectangle was cut from Basic White cardstock with the Everyday Details Die and stamped with the Filled with Cheer greeting in Memento Black Ink in the upper left corner.
The snowman/tree/sled image from Filled with Cheer was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock and colored with Pebbled Path, Soft Sea Foam, and Moody Mauve Stampin’ Blends. And a little bit of Pumpkin Pie for his nose!
The image was hand-cut then added to the rectangle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A trio of 2023-25 Opaque Sparkle Dots were added to the background.

Snowman Magnet Tray packaging

Yesterday I showed you some gifts that my nail tech commissioned me to do (see them HERE!) While looking for those small magnet trays, I found these larger narrow magnet trays on Amazon that are 2-3/4 x 9 and thought they would be perfect for holding Stampin’ Up! dies while my stampers are using them. I know how easy those small dies can be lost on a messy desk. I have a knife bar from years ago that I use but thought this looked even better. I believe they are actually made for holding small automotive pieces.

I wanted to add some candy to the tray, so found these Peppermint Bark Bars that were a PERFECT size to add to the packaging!

Because of the awkward size, I looked for an acetate box to hold the tray and candy. Found these boxes on Clear Bags that measure approx. 3 x 10 x 2.

Next up is decorating! Snowmen are my favorite decoration for winter holidays, so I made these. I think it is safe to show them now that almost everyone has received their gift.

Stampin’ Details:

The snowman body is 2-1/2 x 8-1/2 Basic White cardstock.
The hat is 1-3/4 x 2-1/4, and the brim is 1/2 x 3. A 1/4 x 2-1/4 strip of Heartwarming Hugs DSP is the hat band.
Two punches of the holly leaves with the retired punch from Garden Green cardstock and a retired Red Glitter Dot for the hat decoration.
The eyes are 3/8″ circles, the mouth is five 1/4″ Circles, and the buttons are 3/4″ circles punched from Basic Black cardstock. They are highlighted with a White Gel Pen.
The cheeks were sponged with Flirty Flamingo Ink with a sponge dauber.
The nose is the end of the Ice Cream Cone Builder Punch, then highlighted with a Pumpkin Pie Marker for the carrot lines.
The bow is retired 1-1/4″ red Striped Ribbon.
The snowman was adhered to the acetate box with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Aren’t they just the CUTEST! I loved making them for my stampers! I have a couple more ready to assemble…wonder who I should give them to? lol!
