Saturday Blog Hop – Falling Leaves with Non-traditional colors

It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop. This week’s challenge is “falling leaves with non-traditional colors”.

I love blue/teal leaves. This card came together pretty quickly using the Artistic Leaves stamp set!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Cloud Cover cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
A 2-1/2 x 5-1/2 piece of Timeless Plaid Designer Paper was added across the center.
The Everyday Arches was cut from Basic White cardstock with the Die and added to the center.
The large leaf was stamped with Lost Lagoon and the detail with Cloud Cover Inks and hand-cut, then added to the arch with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The Artistic Leaves greeting was stamped with Memento Black Ink on 1/2 x 3-3/4 strip of Cloud Cover cardstock and the ends banner cut. It was added across the bottom of the arch with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Some White Baker’s Twine was colored with the Lost Lagoon Dark Stampin’ Blends, then tied in a bow and added to the stem with a Mini Glue Dot.
A trio of Two-Tone Sparkle Gems were added to the background.

CSF888 – Christmas Greenery

It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge! It’s a pretty color challenge this week to try!

CHRISTMAS GREENERY

Although this set says “Christmas”, I thought it would be great to use for a non-Christmas card!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Highland Heather cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock was embossed with the Peaceful Greenery Embossing Folder and added to the front.
The flower was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock and colored with Highland Heather, Granny Apple Green and Night of Navy Stampin’ Blends, then cut with the Die. It was added to the center with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The greeting from Gathering Moments was stamped with Memento Black Ink on 1/2 x 2-1/2 Highland Heather cardstock and the end cut at an angle. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A trio of Frosted Iridescent Dots were added to the background.

CS212 – Amber Autumn

Our Creatively Simple theme this month is “Autumn Wishes”! I love all the colors of fall!

AMBER AUTUMN

Again, these acorns are all over my backyard right now and the squirrels are busy gathering them!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Cajun Craze cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded to form the base card.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Very Vanilla is added on top.
Two 3/4 x 4-1/2 strips of Gathering Together Designer Paper were added behind a 2-3/4 x 5-1/2 piece of leaf Gathering Together Designer Paper, then added to the front.
A 3/4 x 4-1/2 strip Early Espresso cardstock was added in the center.
The circle was cut from Very Vanilla cardstock the Stylish Circles Die and stamped with the greeting in Early Espresso Ink in the lower left side.
The acorn cluster was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Whisper White cardstock (should have used Very Vanilla!) and colored with Cajun Craze, Darling Duckling, Pecan Pie and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends. It was cut with the dies and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A trio of Cajun Craze/Gold Dots were added to the background.

IM403 – Autumn Trees

Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration is a sweet nature print of a deer!

AUTUMN TREES

We have a lot of deer who live behind our house in the trees…I never get tired of looking at them! This year we had a set of twins born…they were so cute frolicking around! They don’t get too far from mama when they are young. I think that is why I love this die-cut!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Basic Beige cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Mossy Meadow cardstock was added on top.
The 1 x 5 stripe of Autumn Toile DSP was added to the left side.
The 2 x 4 piece of coordinating DSP was colored with Mossy Meadow Ink using a Blending Brush, then added to the front.
The deer were cut from Early Espresso cardstock with the Autumn Trees Die and trimmed, then added to the front with Monoadhesive Glue.
The greeting from Simply Said stamp set was stamped with Early Espresso Ink in the background.
A trio of Iridescent Foil Gems were added to the background.

It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop. This week’s challenge is Fruits & Veggies! How creative can our Design Team be?

TRACTOR & CO

I went down on the farm…literally…for today’s fruits and veggies card! The tractor is so cute…but I used a variety of the complimentary stamps for today’s card without the tractor!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Crumb Cake cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 3 x 5 piece of Gathering Together Designer Paper was added towards the left side.
A coordinating strip of 1/2 x 3-3/4 was added towards the bottom.
The large circle was cut with the Spotlight on Nature Die from Cloud Cover cardstock. The corn stalks were stamped in Old Olive across the center and the corn cobs with Crushed Curry Ink.
On Basic White, the haystack was stamped with Crushed Curry Ink, the Pumpkins with Timid Tiger Ink and the rooster with Pecan Pie Ink.
The stems of the pumpkins were colored with Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends and the comb of the rooster with Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends.
They were all cut with the Tractor & Co Dies and added to the bottom of the circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The circle was trimmed off below the hay and pumpkins.
The greeting was stamped with Pecan Pie Ink on 1/2 x 2 strip of Crumb Cake cardstock and added under the circle.
A trio of Low-Profile Shimmer Dots were added to the background.

CSF887 – Spooky Halloween

It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge! It’s a fun sketch this week to try!

SPOOKY HALLOWEEN

We’re getting closer and closer to Halloween! I thought this sketch was perfect for the little critters in the Spooky Halloween set!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Granny Apple Green cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Gray Granite cardstock was added to the front.
Two 1 x 3-1/2 strips of candy Spooky Sweet Designer Paper were weaved together with a 1 x 5-1/4 strip of orange DSP and adhered to the front.
The bats from Spooky Halloween were stamped with Memento Black Ink in the upper right corner.
The cat was stamped with Memento Black Ink on scrap Basic White cardstock and colored with Gray Granite, Crumb Cake, Basic Black, Granny Apple Green and Timid Tiger Stampin’ Blends. She was cut with the Dies and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The cauldron is a die-cut in the Spooky Sweet DSP that was added with Stampin’ Dimensionals next to the cat.
The bubbles were colored with Wink of Stella for some shimmer.
Spooky greeting was stamped with Memento Black Ink on 1/2 x 2 Basic White cardstock and tucked partially under the side of the cat.
A trio of green Traditional Sparkling Sequins were added to the bubbles and the background DSP.

CS211 – Beautiful Pumpkins

Our Creatively Simple theme this month is “Autumn Wishes”! I love all the colors of fall…and pumpkins!

BEAUTIFUL PUMPKINS

These distinctive pumpkin stamps are SO nice to add detail with just a little effort!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Peach Pie cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded. The front was embossed with the Gathering Leaves Embossing Folder.
A 1-1/2 x 5-1/2 strip of Celebratory Sips Designer Paper was added down the front.
The pumpkin solid image was stamped with Peach Pie Ink on 2-1/2 x 3 piece of Very Vanilla and the detail was stamped several times with Timid Tiger Ink. The stem was stamped with Early Espresso Ink and the three leaves with Old Olive ink on scrap Very Vanilla. They were cut with the Dies and added to the pumpkin (one leaf left for the greeting).
The Vanilla was added to a 2-3/4 x 3-1/4 piece of Timid Tiger cardstock, then added to the front.
The greeting was stamped with Early Espresso Ink on 1 x 2-1/2 piece of Very Vanilla and the end cut as a flag. It was popped up on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The leaf was added below the greeting.
Three Cajun Craze/Gold Dots were added into the background.

Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration is a pretty fall wreath!

ARTISTIC LEAVES

I love the colors off fall! Summer is my favorite season, but fall is a close second! I love taking leaf images and making wreaths from them. Here’s another idea using the single leaf in Artistic Leaves!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Pumpkin Pie cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Autumn Toile Designer Paper was added on top.
A 2″ circle was punched from Basic Beige cardstock and stamped with the greeting in Early Espresso Ink in the center. It was adhered to the front.
The single leaf was stamped twice with Old Olive, twice with Crushed Curry, twice with Cajun Craze and once with Pumpkin Pie Inks on Basic Beige cardstock. The detail image was stamped with Basic Beige Ink on all the leaves. They were hand-cut and added around the edge of the circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The pumpkins from Choose Happy stamp set were stamped with Early Espresso Ink on Pumpkin Pie cardstock, the stems colored with SU100 Stampin’ Blends and the speckled stamp in Artistic Leaves stamped with Pumpkin Pie Ink. They were hand-cut and added to the wreath with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Two acorns and two berry branches were cut from Pecan Pie cardstock with the Branching Out Dies. The acorns were brushed with Early Espresso Ink. They were adhered and tucked around the pumpkins on the wreath.
Some Old Olive Linen Thread was tied in a bow and added under the pumpkins with a Mini Glue Dot.
A trio of Cajun Craze & Gold Dots were added to the background.
