Saturday Blog Hop – Miss the Most

It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop. This week our theme is “Miss the Most”. What stamp set/bundle will you miss the most? It’s Stampin’ Up! annual catalog retirement time and lots of favorites will be going away in another month.

COUNTRY FLOWERS

I LOVE this stamp set…it is one of my go-to sets for sympathy cards because it contains this beautiful greeting in it. The colors in the Cute As Can Bee Designer Paper inspired my color combination…and I LOVE the medallion shape dies in the Meant to Be Dies and use them with more than the Meant to Bee stamp set!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Petunia Pop cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock is added on top.
A 2 x 5-1/4 strip of the plaid Cute as Can Die Designer Paper was added across the center.
The medallion is cut from Petunia Pop cardstock with the Meant to Bee Die and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The teapot was stamped with Memento Black Ink and is cut with the Die from the tiny flower print Cute As Can Bee DSP.
The stool from Country Flowers stamp set is stamped with Memento Black Ink on Pool Party and colored with Dark Pool Party Blends to give it some dimension.
The flowers were stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock and cut with the Country Flowers Dies. They were colored with Pretty in Pink, Petunia Pop, Pool Party and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. All pieces were added to the medallion with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The Country Flowers greeting was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock and hand-cut, then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A trio of blue In Color Shimmer Gems were added to the background.

It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge! This week is a fun sketch for you to try!

YOU ARE REMARKABLE

I just picked up this stamp set with some host rewards and I LOVE it! The daisy is so fresh and easy to use with two-step stamping to add color! Definitely a hidden gem!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Daffodil Delight cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock is added on top.
The 3-3/4 x 5 piece of Cute As Can Bee Designer Paper was cut into four 1-7/8 x 2-1/2 pieces and added to the Basic White layer.
The Spotlight on Nature circle was cut from Basic Black cardstock and added to the front.
The daisy was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock and punched with a 2″ Circle Punch (or use the smaller Spotlight on Nature circle die…I had already made this part before thinking it needed a mat).
Use the two step stamps on the petals with Petunia Pop Ink, center with Daffodil Delight Ink and leaves with Lemon Lime Twist Ink. Add this circle to the Basic Black circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Stamp the top part of the You Are Remarkable greeting with Memento Black Ink on Daffodil Delight cardstock and hand-cut around the words. Add to the circle with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A trio of green Transparent Adhesive Backed Dots were added to the background.

It’s a new month and our Creatively Simple challenge theme is Gardens as the focus on our cards in April!

YOU ARE REMARKABLE

I just got this stamp set with my latest order and had to play with it right away! This card is SO simple…perfect for this challenge…who doesn’t love daisies in their garden? The flower is two-step stamping, so I didn’t even color!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Daffodil Delight cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Botanical Textures 12×12 Designer Paper is added on top.
Two 1/2 x 4 strips of Daffodil Delight cardstock were added across the center.
The arch was cut from Basic White cardstock with the Everyday Arches Dies.
The arch was stamped with the You Are Remarkable greeting in the lower left corner with memento Black Ink and the flower with Memento Black Ink next to it. The flower petals were stamped with Daffodil Delight Ink, the center with Early Espresso and the stem/leaves with Garden Green Ink using the two-step stamps.
Three yellow Faux Glass Dots were added to the background.

IM378 – Meant to Bee

Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration is a spring showers umbrella image!

MEANT TO BEE

I had to pull out my bag of tricks to come up with this card! I used a couple different die sets to create the flower-filled umbrella!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Poppy Parade cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Melon Mambo cardstock is added on top.
The 3-3/4 x 5 piece of Basic White cardstock is stamped with the Layering Leaves stamp set in Poppy Parade Ink across the top.
A 1 x 3-3/4 strip of Full of Life Designer Paper was added to the bottom.
The Meant to Bee hexagon is cut from Pool Party cardstock and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The umbrella was cut from Full of Life DSP with the Framed Scenes Die, trimmed in half, then a 1″ Circle cut the curves along the top.
The handle is the pitchfork from Storybook Garden Patch Dies cut from Basic Gray and the end of the handle from the Full of Life DSP.
The flowers and leaves were cut with the Meant to Bee dies from Basic White, Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight, Garden Green and Azure Afternoon cardstocks. They were assembled with Stampin’ Dimensionals and added to the umbrella.
Some white Baker’s Twine Essential Pack was tied in a bow around the handle.
Small Iridescent Faceted Gems were added to the centers of the flowers for a little bling!

It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop. This week our theme is “Easter Wishes”. Our Easter is VERY late this year…the end of April! But here’s a few ideas for you!

STORYBOOK FRIENDS

This Storybook Friends stamp set and coordinating designer paper is very Beatrix Potter looking, so I wanted to switch it up a little and use some more modern touches! I found the patterns in the Wildflower Birthday DSP pack to work perfectly!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Soft Sea Foam cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock is added on top.
A 2-1/2 x 5-1/4 piece of green dotted Wildflower Birthday DSP is added towards the left side.
A 1 x 5-1/4 piece of pink gingham Wildflower Birthday DSP is added over it towards the left side.
The daisy print tag from Wildflower Birthday DSP was cut out. A 1 x 2-1/2 strip of the green dotted DSP was torn across the top and added to the bottom of the tag.
Some Gold Textured Thread was tied around the top in a bow. The tag was added at an angle to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The yellow die cut daisy flower and small leaf were added to the top of the tag with a Stampin’ Dimensional.
The mom bunny and kid bunny were stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic Whitecardstock, colored with Bubble Bath, Peach Pie, and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends, cut with the Storybook Friends Dies and added to the front of the tag with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Easter Greetings from Storybook Friends was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Soft Sea Foam cardstock and punched with the 1-1/2 circle and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A trio of peach 2024-26 In Color Shimmer Gems were added to the background/circle and a pink one to the center of the daisy!

CSF862 – Ocean Friends Favor

It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge! This week is a cheerful color combination to inspire you!

OCEAN FRIENDS

Serendipity!!! So, normally we do cards for our challenges, but I’ve been wanting to show off these favors that I made for a few of my friends who were on the Royal Caribbean crafting cruise with me a couple weeks ago! This package just happened to be the colors for today’s challenge! We had a blast! Cruising…and crafting…two of my favorite things! These little “hot hands” are to hold your craft project while heat embossing, gluing, or any other time you need an extra hand! I thought they were so fun and came in a variety of colors. This one I saved for myself because I love the Lemon Lime Twist color!

Stampin’ Details:

The tag is the solid center shape from the Meant to Bee Dies cut from Summer Splash cardstock. It was stamped with the bubbles in Summer Splash ink randomly in the background.
The coral was cut with the Ocean Friends Die from Calypso Coral cardstock, then cut in half. It was added to the die cut tag.
The crab was stamped with Lemon Lime Twist outline and stamped off solid image on Basic White cardstock, then cut with the Ocean Friends Die. It was tucked in the coral with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The greeting from Ocean Friends was stamped with Summer Splash Ink on 1/2 x 3 piece of Basic White and the ends cut at an angle. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A coral Sunny Day Iridescent Dot was added to the background.
The top was punched with 1/8″ Circle Punch (retired) and tied around the 3 x 9 Printed Gusseted Cello Bag (retired).
The cello bag was tied closed with a 1-1/2 Gold Open Weave Trim in a bow.

IM377 – Storybook Garden Patch

Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration is a spring flowers print!

STORYBOOK GARDEN PATCH

I really like this stamp set full of gardening tools and plants!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Lost Lagoon cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Perennial Lavender Designer Paper was added on top.
A 1 x 4 strip of coordinating Lost Lagoon Perennial Lavender DSP was added over it towards the bottom.
The Smoky Slate cardstock was cut with the Everyday Arches Dies (can you tell these are my new favorite?) and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The watering can was cut from Cherry Cobbler with the solid die and Real Red with the detail die. They were glued together and added to the arch with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The gardening basket from Storybook Garden Patch stamp set was stamped with Pebbled Path Ink on Pebbled Path cardstock and cut with the die. It was added to the arch with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Two greenery plants were cut from Garden Green and one from the Lost Lagoon Perennial Lavender DSP, then added to the basket with slices of Dimensionals.
The greeting from Unbounded Love was stamped with Memento Black on 5/8 x 2 Basic White cardstock and tucked under the side of the watering can.
Some small 2024-26 In Color Shimmer Gems were added to the plants for the “flowers”.

Saturday Blog Hop – Wishing For Spring

It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop. This week our theme is “Wishing for Spring”. I know those of us in the Midwest cannot WAIT for warmer temperatures!

MIXED FLORALS

I think the tulips are SO pretty in this Mixed Florals stamp set…I just had to make a garden of them!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Pretty in Pink cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock was stamped with the tulips image twice, one higher than the other. They were water colored using Peach Pie, Lemon Lime Twist, Summer Splash and Pretty in Pink Stampin’ Write Markers and a Water Painter.
The top was brushed with Pool Party Ink and the bottom brushed with Lemon Lime Twist Ink using Blending Brushes.
Happy Spring from Storybook Friends was stamped with Memento Black Ink on 1/2 x 2-1/2 Pretty in Pink cardstock and the end cut at an angle. It was added to the top with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A trio of Party Dots were added in the background.
