IM434 – Fern & Flora

Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration is a greenhouse of plants!

FERN & FLORA

This inspiration photo was definitely a starting point for today’s potted plant card! I unfortunately do NOT have a green thumb. The only live plant I have is an African Violet that was my grandmother’s. She’s been gone over 45 years…so it is a pretty old plant and I baby it!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Secret Sea cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 1-1/2 x 4 strip of Moonlit Flora DSP was torn across the top and added to the bottom of a 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Crumb Cake cardstock, and that was added to the front.
Two of the Jar Punch bases were punched from Cajun Craze and Basic Beige and embossed with the Beautiful Pattern Embossing Folder (on the Last Chance list). they were added to the front staggered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The large narrow fern was cut from Lemon Lime Twist, the two fiddlesticks from Peaceful Pine, two pointed leaf ferns from Old Olive and two ivy ferns from Mossy Meadow cardstocks. All were assembled and adhered under the jar punch containers.
The greeting was stamped on a 1/2 x 1-1/2 piece of Basic White cardstock with Mossy Meadow Ink and the ends cut at an angle.
The moth was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic Beige cardstock and colored with Lemon Lime Twist and Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends, then added to the ferns with a Stampin’ Dimensional.
A trio of dark blue Moody Palette Dots were added to the background.

Saturday Blog Hop – Favorite New 2026-28 In Color

It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop. This week’s theme is “Favorite New 2026-28 In Color…pick just ONE!

FERN & FLORA

I really do LOVE all the In Colors this year! Peaceful Pine is the one that stands out the most for me…and the one I’ve used the most so far! The new Fern & Flora Bundle was a perfect choice to use it on!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Peaceful Pine cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock was embossed with the Fern & Flora Embossing Folder and the deboss area was swiped several times with Peaceful Pine Ink pad across it. I love how it leaves the indentations white!
A 1-1/2 x 4-1/4 strip of Basic Beige cardstock was stamped with the outline banner and greeting with Peaceful Pink Ink towards the right side.
The bush image was cut with the Die from Peaceful Pine cardstock and added to the left of the greeting.
The fiddlestick image was cut with the Die from Gold Metallic Paper and added over the Pine one with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The moth was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock and watercolored with Peaceful Pine Ink. It was cut with the Die and adhered over the greeting.
Some 3/8″ White & Gold Ribbon was tied in a bow and added to the bottom of the stem with Mini Glue Dots.
Some Adhesive Backed Metallic Gems were added to the background and the moth body.

Yep…definitely my favorite! I think this color fills in the gap of greens in SU’s lineup! CSF917 – Heirloom Boutique

It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge! We have a fun sketch this week!

HEIRLOOM BOUTIQUE

OK…yes, I’m slightly obsessed with this new bundle! I hadn’t had a chance to do any layering flowers using the dies, so I used the sketch and replaced the squares with flower shapes!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Thick Basic White cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Berry Burst cardstock was added on top.
Next a layer of Bloom Boutique DSP was cut to 3-3/4 x 5 and added to the front (LOVE the velvet details on here!
The two large flowers were cut with the Dies from Berry Burst cardstock, the medium sized flowers from Bubble Bath cardstock and adhered together, then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The centers were cut from Daffodil Delight cardstock with the dies.
The leaves were cut from Peaceful Pine cardstock and tucked under the larger flowers with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The greeting from Heirloom Boutique stamp set was stamped with Peaceful Pine Ink on 3/4 x 3-1/2 and the ends flag cut. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimenisonals.
Some Linen Thread was tied in a bow and adhered with a Mini Glue Dot on the greeting.
A trio of white Sunset Sparkle Sequins were added to the background.

CS242 – Woolly Friends

Our Creatively Simple theme this month is “Let’s Get Punchy”!

WOOLLY FRIENDS PUNCH

I always love to create flowers from unusual punches! This one has been on my mind for a while. I thought the sheep body would make a great flower petal!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 new In Color Barely Blush cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock was embossed with the Lazy Daisy Embossing Folder and adhered to the front.
A 2 x 5-1/4 strip of new Bloom Boutique Designer Paper (available May 5) was added down the right side.
A 1 x 4 strip of new In Color Peaceful Pine cardstock was added across the front towards the bottom.
The Woolly Friends sheep body was punched five times from Basic White cardstock and brushed around the edges with Barely Blush Ink. The petals were curved and then adhered in a circle, then added to the front of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The center is cut with the Stylish Shapes circle die from Golden Glow cardstock, stamped with the new Lily of the Valley greeting in Peaceful Pine Ink and added to the center.
Another sheep body was punched from Peaceful Pine cardstock and cut in half, then tucked under the flower at the top for the leaves.

IM433 – Heirloom Boutique

Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration is a field of flowers!

HEIRLOOM BOUTIQUE

I love this new bundle, Heirloom Boutique…especially the dies! And this Velvet Meadow DSP is also awesome!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Peaceful Pine cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of the Velvet Meadow DSP was added on top.
The arch was cut from Basic White cardstock with the Everyday Arches Die and omit stamped with the Heirloom Boutique greeting (partially inked one portion, then the other to divide them onto two lines) using Berry Burst Ink. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The flower and leaves were cut from Basic White cardstock with the Heirloom Boutique Dies and brushed with Berry Burst, Bubble Bath and Peaceful Pine Inks using the Blending Brushes.
The center was cut from Daffodil Delight cardstock and added to the flower. The flower and leaves were popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals on the arch.
Some Dreamy Flower were added to the arch and the background to finish it off.

Saturday Blog Hop – Favorite New 2026 Stamps/Bundle

It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop. This week’s theme is “Favorite New 2026 Stamps/Bundles”…ideas from the new May-August Catalog or May Online Exclusives!

SPLASH & RELAX

I was SO excited to see a stamp set with Flip Flops! This bundle is so perfect for summer cards! I have to say it is my favorite “right now” bundle. That changes frequently, though!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Crisp Cantaloupe cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock is embossed with the Lazy Daisy Embossing Folder and added to the front.
A 1 x 5-1/4 strip of Crisp Cantaloupe cardstock is added across the middle.
One Stitched Shapes square was cut from Hydrangea Hue cardstock and one from Basic White cardstock and adhered across the front.
Three sets of flip flops from Splash & Relax Dies were cut from Bloom Boutique DSP and the straps with Basic White and Crisp Cantaloupe. They were added to the front with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Fun in the Sun from Splash & Relax stamp set was stamped with Peaceful Pine In on Crisp Cantaloupe and cut with the circle Stitched Shapes Die, then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Three Pearlized Faceted Circles were added to the background.

CSF916 – Relaxing Waterside

It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge! We have a nice color combination for you this week!

RELAXING WATERSIDE

I love playing with new products and this Relaxing Waterside suite of products (available May 5th) caught my eye right away!

This pocket card is the perfect size to slip in a gift card, too!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5 x 9-3/4, scored at 2-1/2 and 6-1/4 with score lines pressed in and the flaps should be overlapping with narrower flap on top. Mark 2-1/4 from the bottom edge of the left side flap to the top first score line, then cut diagonally. Mark 1-1/4 from the bottom edge of the right side flap to the second score line and cut diagonally. This will form the criss-cross front. Adhere the flaps and bottom edge together to close.

Stamp the grasses on each side approx. 1-1/4 from bottom edge of the pocket card with Crumb Cake Ink.
Cut a 1-1/4 x 3-3/4 piece of Waterside Retreat Designer Paper and add to the bottom of the pocket card front.
Cut the chair base and back from Secret Sea cardstock using the dies. Cut the arms and seat from Crumb Cake cardstock and adhere on the Secret Sea chair. Add to the front with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Wrap some Linen Thread around the DSP twice and tie a bow. Secure in place by adding glue to the legs of the chair over the thread.
On a 3-1/4 x 4 piece of Basic White cardstock, stamp the grasses with Crumb Cake Ink on the left and the right sides. Stamp the bird in the middle. Use a blending brush to add Secret Sea Ink along the bottom edge and stamp the greeting approx. 5/8″ from the top.
Adhere the Basic White stamped panel to a 3-1/2 x 4-1/4 piece of Petal Pink cardstock.
Punch the middle banner with the Three Banner Punch from scrap Petal Pink cardstock and fold in half and adhere at the top of the pull-out card.
Add a large blue Natural Matte Dot to the front of the banner.

CS241 – Banner Sayings

Our Creatively Simple theme this month is “Let’s Get Punchy”!

BANNER SAYINGS

This one is a quick and easy card using mostly DSP for the focus…with a banner greeting! I love these little jars on the DSP!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Strawberry Slush cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 4 x 4-1/4 layer of Homemade Sweetness DSP was adhered on the front.
A 2-3/8″ Circle was punched from a 3-3/4 x 5 layer of Basic Beige cardstock, then the layer embossed with the Lazy Daisy Embossing Folder and added to the front of the DSP with Stampin’ Dimensionals so the DSP shows through.
One of the little strawberry preserves jars was cut from the DSP and the topper cut separately. The topper was popped up on top of the jar (great way to use the partial images at the edges!) tt was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The greeting was stamped on Strawberry Slush cardstock with Memento Black Ink and punched with the Three Banner Punch and added over the circle opening with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Some Strawberries & Dots were added to the background and one to the jar.
