IM435 – Scalloped Blooms

Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration is a happy birthday poster!

SCALLOPED BLOOMS

Actually I was kind of stumped with this inspiration…I don’t have any current cake, balloon or present stamp images! But then I remembered the Bee Builder Punch body kind of looks like a balloon! Bingo!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Blueberry Bushel cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
I made a rainbow ink pad using reinkers to stamp the Scalloped Blooms Happy Birthday image with a rainbow of colors in the background of my 3-3/4 x 5 piece of Basic White cardstock. I didn’t have any baby wipes, so I used a paper towel (a baby wipe would make the colors brighter!), spritzed it with water and added 4 drops each of Daffodil Delight, Blueberry Bushel, Granny Apple Green and Poppy Parade reinkers. It was added to the front of the base card.

A 1-3/4 x 4-1/4 piece of Granny Apple Green cardstock was stamped towards the right side with the Scalloped Blooms happy birthday greeting in Basic Black Hybrid Ink. It was added across the front towards the bottom.
The body from the Bee Builder Punch was punched from Granny Apple Green, Highland Heather, Blueberry Bushel, Poppy Parade and Daffodil Delight cardstocks, then added in a cluster to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The White Baker’s Twine Essentials was cut into five 3″ strings and adhered with a Stampin’ Dimensional under the bottom balloon. Some more white Baker’s Twine was tied in a bow and added to the balloon base with a Mini Glue Dot.
A White Gel Pen (love that we are carrying these again!) was drawn on the balloons for the highlight.
A trio of white Sunset Sparkle Sequins were added to the background around the greeting.

Saturday Blog Hop – Favorite 2026 New Designer Paper

It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop. This week’s theme is “Favorite New 2026 Designer Paper”!

HEIRLOOM BOUTIQUE

I know I already gave you a hint of my favorite new designer paper in a previous post, but in case you missed it…the Velvet Meadows Designer Paper is gorgeous! I love the velvet texture on some of the flowers and leaves!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Basic Beige cardstock, scored at 2-1/8 and 4-1/4. The shorter flap is folded back on itself.
A 1-7/8 x 5-1/4 piece of Velvet Meadow DSP was added on the shorter front flap.
Three 1-3/4 x 1-3/4 square of Basic White cardstock were cut. Two were added as a diamond shape along the folded edge of the front flap. The third one was placed inside between the other two.
The greeting from Banner Sayings was stamped with Peaceful Pine Ink in the center of the inside diamond.
Two of the medium flowers were cut from Berry Burst cardstock with the Heirloom Boutique Dies and added to the diamond shapes with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Two of the small flowers were cut from Bubble Bath cardstock with the Heirloom Boutique Dies and added to the center of the Berry Burst flowers, flat.
Two of the double leaves were cut from Peaceful Pine cardstock with the Heirloom Boutique Dies and added under the flower petals with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Two large white Dreamy Flowers were added to the center of the flowers.
A 1/2 x 5-1/4 strip of the same Velvet Meadow DSP was added to the inside.

I think it is the bright colors and bold print that I like about this DSP…which is different for me because I normally trend towards stripes and polka dots or small prints!

CSF918 – Boutique Blossoms

It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge! We have a bright color combination for you to try this week!

BOUTIQUE BLOSSOMS

I resisted this bundle on my first preorder, but after looking at my current stamp sets, I realized that I really didn’t have a lot of current flower sets! This bundle has both stamp images and die-cut flowers…so I love that!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Mossy Meadow cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock was added on top.
A 1-1/4 x 5-1/4 strip of striped Artisan Sketched Garden DSP was colored with Poppy Parade, Mossy Meadow and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends alternating down the stripes. It was added on the right edge of the Basic White layer.
The large Boutique Blossoms flower was cut from Poppy Parade and the two smaller flowers from Daffodil Delight, the leaf branches from Mossy Meadow using the Boutique Blossoms Dies. They were added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The greeting from Scalloped Blooms stamp set was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock and cut withe the little Scalloped Blooms Die.
Some Linen Thread was tied in a bow and the greeting added on top, then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A trio of red Dear Dots were added to the background.

Our Creatively Simple theme this month is “Let’s Get Punchy”!

KEEPING TABS PUNCH

Here’s another way to use one of the basic punches…Keeping Tabs…for a border! I like how this turned out! This card was so quick to pull together…the two-step stamping on the flowers/leaves makes it easy!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Crisp Cantaloupe cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock was added on top.
One half of the Keeping Tabs Punch was used to punch the 2026-28 In Color Painted Patterns DSP four times. They were adhered under the 1/2 x 5-1/4 strip of Crisp Cantaloupe cardstock, then added to the front.
Happy Birthday from Scalloped Blooms stamp set was stamped with Basic Black Hybrid Ink.
Two large flower outlines were stamped with Basic Black Hybrid Ink on Basic White cardstock and the insides with Crisp Cantaloupe Ink, the leaves with Basic Black Hybrid Ink outline and Peaceful Pine Ink insides, two small flowers with Basic Black Hybrid Ink outline and Golden Glow insides. The centers were colored with Crisp Cantaloupe Stampin’ Blends. They were cut with the Boutique Blooms Dies and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Small and large 2026-28 In Color Butterflies were added in the upper right corner.

IM434 – Fern & Flora

Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration is a greenhouse of plants!

FERN & FLORA

This inspiration photo was definitely a starting point for today’s potted plant card! I unfortunately do NOT have a green thumb. The only live plant I have is an African Violet that was my grandmother’s. She’s been gone over 45 years…so it is a pretty old plant and I baby it!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Secret Sea cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 1-1/2 x 4 strip of Moonlit Flora DSP was torn across the top and added to the bottom of a 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Crumb Cake cardstock, and that was added to the front.
Two of the Jar Punch bases were punched from Cajun Craze and Basic Beige and embossed with the Beautiful Pattern Embossing Folder (on the Last Chance list). they were added to the front staggered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The large narrow fern was cut from Lemon Lime Twist, the two fiddlesticks from Peaceful Pine, two pointed leaf ferns from Old Olive and two ivy ferns from Mossy Meadow cardstocks. All were assembled and adhered under the jar punch containers.
The greeting was stamped on a 1/2 x 1-1/2 piece of Basic White cardstock with Mossy Meadow Ink and the ends cut at an angle.
The moth was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic Beige cardstock and colored with Lemon Lime Twist and Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends, then added to the ferns with a Stampin’ Dimensional.
A trio of dark blue Moody Palette Dots were added to the background.

Saturday Blog Hop – Favorite New 2026-28 In Color

It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop. This week’s theme is “Favorite New 2026-28 In Color…pick just ONE!

FERN & FLORA

I really do LOVE all the In Colors this year! Peaceful Pine is the one that stands out the most for me…and the one I’ve used the most so far! The new Fern & Flora Bundle was a perfect choice to use it on!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Peaceful Pine cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock was embossed with the Fern & Flora Embossing Folder and the deboss area was swiped several times with Peaceful Pine Ink pad across it. I love how it leaves the indentations white!
A 1-1/2 x 4-1/4 strip of Basic Beige cardstock was stamped with the outline banner and greeting with Peaceful Pink Ink towards the right side.
The bush image was cut with the Die from Peaceful Pine cardstock and added to the left of the greeting.
The fiddlestick image was cut with the Die from Gold Metallic Paper and added over the Pine one with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The moth was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock and watercolored with Peaceful Pine Ink. It was cut with the Die and adhered over the greeting.
Some 3/8″ White & Gold Ribbon was tied in a bow and added to the bottom of the stem with Mini Glue Dots.
Some Adhesive Backed Metallic Gems were added to the background and the moth body.

Yep…definitely my favorite! I think this color fills in the gap of greens in SU’s lineup! CSF917 – Heirloom Boutique

It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge! We have a fun sketch this week!

HEIRLOOM BOUTIQUE

OK…yes, I’m slightly obsessed with this new bundle! I hadn’t had a chance to do any layering flowers using the dies, so I used the sketch and replaced the squares with flower shapes!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Thick Basic White cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Berry Burst cardstock was added on top.
Next a layer of Bloom Boutique DSP was cut to 3-3/4 x 5 and added to the front (LOVE the velvet details on here!
The two large flowers were cut with the Dies from Berry Burst cardstock, the medium sized flowers from Bubble Bath cardstock and adhered together, then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The centers were cut from Daffodil Delight cardstock with the dies.
The leaves were cut from Peaceful Pine cardstock and tucked under the larger flowers with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The greeting from Heirloom Boutique stamp set was stamped with Peaceful Pine Ink on 3/4 x 3-1/2 and the ends flag cut. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimenisonals.
Some Linen Thread was tied in a bow and adhered with a Mini Glue Dot on the greeting.
A trio of white Sunset Sparkle Sequins were added to the background.

Our Creatively Simple theme this month is “Let’s Get Punchy”!

WOOLLY FRIENDS PUNCH

I always love to create flowers from unusual punches! This one has been on my mind for a while. I thought the sheep body would make a great flower petal!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 new In Color Barely Blush cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock was embossed with the Lazy Daisy Embossing Folder and adhered to the front.
A 2 x 5-1/4 strip of new Bloom Boutique Designer Paper (available May 5) was added down the right side.
A 1 x 4 strip of new In Color Peaceful Pine cardstock was added across the front towards the bottom.
The Woolly Friends sheep body was punched five times from Basic White cardstock and brushed around the edges with Barely Blush Ink. The petals were curved and then adhered in a circle, then added to the front of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The center is cut with the Stylish Shapes circle die from Golden Glow cardstock, stamped with the new Lily of the Valley greeting in Peaceful Pine Ink and added to the center.
Another sheep body was punched from Peaceful Pine cardstock and cut in half, then tucked under the flower at the top for the leaves.
