Saturday Blog Hop – Easter bunnies and friends

It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop. This week’s theme is Easter Bunnies & Friends!

EASTER BASKET

I love the little bunnies and chicks in the Easter Basket set, so I thought they could be “friends” on my card today!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Lemon Lolly cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
One of the scenes in the Easter Joy DSP was cut to 4 x 5-1/4 and added to the base card.
The basket and weaves were cut from Early Espresso cardstock and adhered to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The bow and scallop trim were cut with the Dies from Lemon Lolly cardstock and added to the basket.
Several Easter Eggs were cut from the DSP and added to the basket. TIP: Use some of the ones on the edges and tuck them in the basket or above other eggs so the cut portion doesn’t show!
The small bunny was stamped twice and the chick three times with Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock and then colored with Lemon Lolly, Crumb Cake, Pumpkin Pie and Bubble Bath Stampin’ Blends. They were cut with the dies and added along the bottom with an extra egg.
The grass was cut from Lemon Lime Twist cardstock and added in front of the basket.
The greeting was stamped with Early Espresso Ink on Basic White and cut with the Three Banner Punch, then tucked under the bow with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Some blue Easter Assortment dots were added to the bow and scallop trim.

So cute…I love my little friends and that DSP makes the background SO easy to make! CSF912 – Simply Beautiful

It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge! We have a pretty color challenge for you!

SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL

The flowers in this set are so pretty and open so you can use any color! The flowers on this card remind me of the African Violets my grandmother used to grow. I still have one of hers that just blooms its’ head off several times a year…it likes the sun in my sunroom!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Cloud Cover cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Highland Heather cardstock was added on top.
The 3-3/4 x 5 piece of Nature’s Walk DSP was added on top.
The Everyday Arches was cut with the Die from Very Vanilla cardstock and stamped with the Simply Beautiful greeting across the top. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Three of the flowers and two sets of leaves were stamped with Memento Black Ink on Very Vanilla cardstock and colored with Cloud Cover and Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends. They were cut with the Dies and added to the arch with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The Three Banner Punch was punched from Highland Heather cardstock and cut in half, then tucked under the arch on the right side.
A trio of large Vintage Pearls were added to the centers of the flowers.

CS237 – Springtime Scenes

Our Creatively Simple theme this month is “Critters or insects”! I’m loving this theme!

SPRINGTIME SCENES

I had forgotten to get this Ladybug Picnic Embossing Folder on my first preorder, so just picked it up recently!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Bubble Bath cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Strawberry Slush cardstock was embossed with the Ladybug Picnic EF and added to the front.
A 1-1/4 x 5-1/4 strip of Homemade Sweetness DSP was added down the right side.
A 1 x 4-1/4 strip of Basic Black was adhered next to it.
The circle was cut with the Springtime Scenes Die from Basic White cardstock and stamped with the Springtime Scenes greeting in Strawberry Slush Ink.
The leaf was cut with the Die from Old Olive cardstock and added under the greeting with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The ladybug was stamped with Memento Black Ink on scrap Basic White and colored with Strawberry Slush and Basic Black Stampin’ Blends. It was added to the leaf with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Some Linen Thread was tied in a bow and added to the leaf.
A trio of Strawberries & Dots were added to the background.

IM428 – Fragrant Flowers

Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration is bokeh circles in a variety of colors!

FRAGRANT FLOWERS

The Splash of Sparkles DSP had a pattern that was perfect for this challenge! I thought Fragrant Flowers would go with it nicely!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Shy Shamrock cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Splash of Sparkles DSP was added on top.
The label was cut with the Branching Out Dies from Basic White cardstock and added to the front flat.
The flower branch and three sets of leaves were cut with the Fragrant Flowers Dies from Basic White cardstock and brushed with Lemon Lolly, Shy Shamrock and Calypso Coral Inks. They were added to the label with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Some Linen Thread was tied in a large bow and added to the lower right corner of the label with a Mini Glue Dot.
Just a Note was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock and cut with the label Fragrant Flowers Die. It was added over the Linen Thread with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Some coral Pearls of Beauty was added to the center of the flowers.

Saturday Blog Hop – Casing Connie Babbert 2026

It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop. For the last several weeks we have been “Casing the Designer”. Each week we have picked a designer and selected a card she designed. We used the Colors or Layout of her design and recreated our version using NEW stamps/bundles or DSP! This is our LAST “Case the Designer” for this session and we are casing ME!

Here’s the card I selected from my blog:

WOOLLY FRIENDS

I had pieces of this card sitting on my desk again, so I put them together to make this challenge!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Shy Shamrock cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded. (This color is retiring SOON, so make sure you grab your supplies now!)
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Balmy Blue was embossed with the Lovely Stripes EF and added to the front.
Two 2-1/4 x 2-1/4 pieces of Easter Joy DSP were added on the diagonal.
The 2-1/4 x 2-1/4 piece of Very Vanilla was brushed along the bottom with Shy Shamrock Ink using a Blending Brush.
The sheep was stamped with Memento Black Ink and the body with Balmy Blue Ink. The head, bell and flowers with Memento Black Ink, then colored with Daffodil Delight and Shy Shamrock Stampin’ Blends. The cheeks with Bubble Bath Blends.
They were punched with the Woolly Friends Punch and added to the square with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Welcome Cute from Woolly Friends was stamped with Memento Black Ink on 5/8 x 2 Basic White cardstock and the end cut at an angle, then adhered to the card.
Some 2024-26 In Color Flat Pearls were added to the background.

CSF911 – Filled with Sweetness

It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge! We have a fun sketch challenge for you to try this week!

FILLED WITH SWEETNESS

This came together very quickly…especially since I already had the label and strawberry stamped and cut from another project that I didn’t use it on! LOVE when that happens! I’m loving this DSP!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Strawberry Slush cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Misty Moonlight was added on top.
The 3-1/2 x 3-1/2 piece of Homemade Sweetness DSP was added towards the left side with a coordinating 1 x 3-1/2 pattern added to the right.
Some 1/4″ Misty Moonlight Checkered Trim was looped back and forth a couple times, then added to the front right side with a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional.
The label was cut with the Filled with Sweetness Die in Misty Moonlight Ink on Basic White cardstock and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimenisonals.
The strawberry was stamped with Memento Black Ink and colored with Strawberry Slush, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. It was cut and added to the front with a Stampin’ Dimensional.
Two blue Strawberry & Dots were added to the label.

SWEET BUGS

These marching ants are one of my favorites in this set!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Real Red cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Pecan Pie cardstock was added to the front.
A 1-1/4 x 5-1/4 strip of Cute as a Bug red check DSP was added down the right side.
The Party Banner die was used to cut the Cute as a Bug leaf print and added to the front.
a 1/2 x 3-3/4 strip of Petal Pink was stamped with the greeting in Memento Black Ink and added across the front.
The ants were stamped on the Branching Out die cut from Basic White with Memento Black Ink. The bottom was stamped with the dashed lines in Old Olive Ink and brushed with more Old Olive Ink. The ants were colored with Crumb Cake, Pecan Pie, Real Red and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A trio of coral Pearls of Beauty were added to the label and the background.

IM427 – Woolly Friends

Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration is a bouquet of spring tulips!

WOOLLY FRIENDS

I only have about 15 stamp sets and dies here in Florida with me, so I was struggling to come up with something I could use for tulips! I ended up finding the little row of tulips in the Woolly Friends stamp set!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Pretty in Pink cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Fresh Freesia was embossed with the Beautiful Patterns Embossing Folder and added to the front.
The 2-1/4 x 5-1/4 strip of Made with Love Designer Paper was added to the front towards the left side.
The circle was cut from Basic White cardstock using the Spotlight on Nature Die.
The Woolly Friends greeting was stamped at the top with Memento Black Ink.
A “sun” was brushed with Daffodil Delight Ink in the upper left corner and the “grass” was brushed with Granny Apple Green Ink across the bottom.
The tulips were stamped in a row using Memento Black Ink, then Pretty in Pink for the petals and Granny Apple Green for the leaves.
Another set of tulips were stamped on scrap Basic White cardstock, colored and then hand-cut and added below the row of tulips.
The 1/8″ Bubble Bath Faux Linen Ribbon was tied in a bow and added to the stems at the bottom.
A trio of Antique Pearls were added to the background.
