CS242 – Woolly Friends

Our Creatively Simple theme this month is “Let’s Get Punchy”!

WOOLLY FRIENDS PUNCH

I always love to create flowers from unusual punches! This one has been on my mind for a while. I thought the sheep body would make a great flower petal!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 new In Color Barely Blush cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock was embossed with the Lazy Daisy Embossing Folder and adhered to the front.
A 2 x 5-1/4 strip of new Bloom Boutique Designer Paper (available May 5) was added down the right side.
A 1 x 4 strip of new In Color Peaceful Pine cardstock was added across the front towards the bottom.
The Woolly Friends sheep body was punched five times from Basic White cardstock and brushed around the edges with Barely Blush Ink. The petals were curved and then adhered in a circle, then added to the front of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The center is cut with the Stylish Shapes circle die from Golden Glow cardstock, stamped with the new Lily of the Valley greeting in Peaceful Pine Ink and added to the center.
Another sheep body was punched from Peaceful Pine cardstock and cut in half, then tucked under the flower at the top for the leaves.

Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration is a field of flowers!

HEIRLOOM BOUTIQUE

I love this new bundle, Heirloom Boutique…especially the dies! And this Velvet Meadow DSP is also awesome!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Peaceful Pine cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of the Velvet Meadow DSP was added on top.
The arch was cut from Basic White cardstock with the Everyday Arches Die and omit stamped with the Heirloom Boutique greeting (partially inked one portion, then the other to divide them onto two lines) using Berry Burst Ink. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The flower and leaves were cut from Basic White cardstock with the Heirloom Boutique Dies and brushed with Berry Burst, Bubble Bath and Peaceful Pine Inks using the Blending Brushes.
The center was cut from Daffodil Delight cardstock and added to the flower. The flower and leaves were popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals on the arch.
Some Dreamy Flower were added to the arch and the background to finish it off.

Saturday Blog Hop – Favorite New 2026 Stamps/Bundle

It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop. This week’s theme is “Favorite New 2026 Stamps/Bundles”…ideas from the new May-August Catalog or May Online Exclusives!

SPLASH & RELAX

I was SO excited to see a stamp set with Flip Flops! This bundle is so perfect for summer cards! I have to say it is my favorite “right now” bundle. That changes frequently, though!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Crisp Cantaloupe cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock is embossed with the Lazy Daisy Embossing Folder and added to the front.
A 1 x 5-1/4 strip of Crisp Cantaloupe cardstock is added across the middle.
One Stitched Shapes square was cut from Hydrangea Hue cardstock and one from Basic White cardstock and adhered across the front.
Three sets of flip flops from Splash & Relax Dies were cut from Bloom Boutique DSP and the straps with Basic White and Crisp Cantaloupe. They were added to the front with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Fun in the Sun from Splash & Relax stamp set was stamped with Peaceful Pine In on Crisp Cantaloupe and cut with the circle Stitched Shapes Die, then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Three Pearlized Faceted Circles were added to the background.

CSF916 – Relaxing Waterside

It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge! We have a nice color combination for you this week!

RELAXING WATERSIDE

I love playing with new products and this Relaxing Waterside suite of products (available May 5th) caught my eye right away!

This pocket card is the perfect size to slip in a gift card, too!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5 x 9-3/4, scored at 2-1/2 and 6-1/4 with score lines pressed in and the flaps should be overlapping with narrower flap on top. Mark 2-1/4 from the bottom edge of the left side flap to the top first score line, then cut diagonally. Mark 1-1/4 from the bottom edge of the right side flap to the second score line and cut diagonally. This will form the criss-cross front. Adhere the flaps and bottom edge together to close.

Stamp the grasses on each side approx. 1-1/4 from bottom edge of the pocket card with Crumb Cake Ink.
Cut a 1-1/4 x 3-3/4 piece of Waterside Retreat Designer Paper and add to the bottom of the pocket card front.
Cut the chair base and back from Secret Sea cardstock using the dies. Cut the arms and seat from Crumb Cake cardstock and adhere on the Secret Sea chair. Add to the front with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Wrap some Linen Thread around the DSP twice and tie a bow. Secure in place by adding glue to the legs of the chair over the thread.
On a 3-1/4 x 4 piece of Basic White cardstock, stamp the grasses with Crumb Cake Ink on the left and the right sides. Stamp the bird in the middle. Use a blending brush to add Secret Sea Ink along the bottom edge and stamp the greeting approx. 5/8″ from the top.
Adhere the Basic White stamped panel to a 3-1/2 x 4-1/4 piece of Petal Pink cardstock.
Punch the middle banner with the Three Banner Punch from scrap Petal Pink cardstock and fold in half and adhere at the top of the pull-out card.
Add a large blue Natural Matte Dot to the front of the banner.

Our Creatively Simple theme this month is “Let’s Get Punchy”!

BANNER SAYINGS

This one is a quick and easy card using mostly DSP for the focus…with a banner greeting! I love these little jars on the DSP!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Strawberry Slush cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 4 x 4-1/4 layer of Homemade Sweetness DSP was adhered on the front.
A 2-3/8″ Circle was punched from a 3-3/4 x 5 layer of Basic Beige cardstock, then the layer embossed with the Lazy Daisy Embossing Folder and added to the front of the DSP with Stampin’ Dimensionals so the DSP shows through.
One of the little strawberry preserves jars was cut from the DSP and the topper cut separately. The topper was popped up on top of the jar (great way to use the partial images at the edges!) tt was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The greeting was stamped on Strawberry Slush cardstock with Memento Black Ink and punched with the Three Banner Punch and added over the circle opening with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Some Strawberries & Dots were added to the background and one to the jar.

IM432 – Relaxing Waterside

Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration is a wonderful beach scene!

RELAXING WATERSIDE

I love me some beach time! One of my favorite spots to vacation!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Basic Beige cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Balmy Blue cardstock was masked and the horizon brushed with Azure Afternoon Ink below the mask.
The 2-1/2 x 4 piece of Basic Beige cardstock was torn across the top and White Gel Pen added across the torn piece for the waterline. It was also brushed with Crunk Cake Ink to resemble sand. The seagrass was stamped with Mossy Meadow Ink on both sides. It was added to the bottom of the Balmy Blue layer.
Two seagulls were stamped with Memento Black Ink and colored with the White Gel Pen. The greeting was also stamped with Memento Black Ink in the upper left corner.
The Adirondack chair and coffee cup were stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock and colored with Crumb Cake and Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends, the cup with Strawberry Slush Blends. They were cut with the Dies.
The chair back was cut from Basic White cardstock and the bottom cut off to form the table. All were added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Some “steam” was drawn with the White Gel Pen above the coffee cup.

Saturday Blog Hop – All About Greetings

It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop. This week’s theme is “All About Greetings”…the greeting should be the focal point of our card!

BBQ MASTER

I love this set for some masculine cards! I’m sure I’ll be making some for my sons and my husband! Here’s one with the bold greeting as the focus!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Cajun Craze cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Very Vanilla cardstock was added on top.
Three 1 x 5-1/4 strips of Weekend Adventures DSP were spaced ini the background.
The Grillin’ and Chillin’ greeting was stamped with Memento Black Ink on 2-1/2 x 2-1/2 Very Vanilla cardstock. It was layered on a 2-3/4 x 2-3/4 piece of Cajun Craze cardstock and added to the upper right corner with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The grill was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Very Vanilla cardstock and cut with the BBQ Master Die. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The fire was stamped with Crushed Curry Ink, the two beer bottles with Pecan Pie Ink and the sausages with Cajun Craze Ink. They were popped up on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The lettuce die was cut three times from Mossy Meadow cardstock and added under the grill for the ground.
A trio of Earthy Matte Dots were added to the greeting and the top of the grill.

It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge! We have a fun sketch for you to try this week!

HEIRLOOM BOUTIQUE

Here’s another new Bundle from Stampin’ Up!’ upcoming catalog called Heirloom Boutique! Of course, it is flowers…you know I love them…but I was looking at my stash of current stamps, and I really am limited on flowers, believe it or not! This one is pretty because you can color…or use the fantastic dies!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Crisp Cantaloupe cardstock (a retuning color!), score at 5-1/2 and folded.
Three 1-1/4 x 3-3/4 pieces of Bloom Boutique DSP were added to the background.
A 1 x 4-1/4 strip of Peaceful Pine cardstock (LOVE this new In Color!) was added across the front towards the bottom.
The Stylish Shapes Circle was cut from Basic White cardstock and stamped with the floral cluster from Heirloom Blooms in Memento Black Ink. It was watercolored with the Crisp Cantaloupe and Peaceful Pine Ink Pads and water painter. The circle was popped up on the front with Stampin’ Dimenisonals.
The greeting was stamped with Peaceful Pine Ink on Crisp Cantaloupe cardstock and hand-cut around the word Love, then added to the circle with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Large and small Crisp Cantaloupe 2026-28 In Color Butterflies were added to the top of the circle.
