CCMC615 – Jar of Flowers

Happy Thursday! Time for another Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge! It’s a beautiful color combination this week.

I decided to use Jar of Flowers for my card. Love the jars in different colors!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Purple Posy cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Crumb Cake cardstock is embossed with the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder.
A 1-3/4 x 5-1/4 strip of In Good Taste Designer Paper was added to the bottom.
The large jar from Jar of Flowers was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Purple Posy, Night of Navy and Coastal Cabana cardstocks and punched with the Jar Punch. They were added to the front of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The lids were stamped with Smoky Slate Ink on Whisper White cardstock and hand-cut, then added to the jars and the bottom.
The flower top from Jar of Flowers was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Whisper White cardstock and colored with Purple Posy Combo, Pool Party Combo and Light Night of Navy Stampin’ Blends. It was hand-cut and added to the top of the Night of Navy jar.
Celebrate from Many Mates was stamped with Night of Navy Ink on 1/2 x 3 piece of Whisper White cardstock, then trimmed and added to the front.
A Night of Navy Holiday Rhinestone was added to the greeting.
The jars were covered with Wink of Stella.

I’m showing off one of the bundles in the new Annual Catalog called Jar of Flowers! It has a coordinating punch and some fun plastic mason jar domes to make shaker cards! I made this one for a good friend who is going thru a rough time right now.

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Crumb Cake cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
On top is a 4 x 5-1/4 piece of the yummy In Good Taste Designer Paper…yep…you are seeing me use this a LOT!
The Ornate Garden Terracotta Tile Ribbon is tied around the DSP and knotted, then added to the front.
The Stitched So Sweetly scallop rectangle die is cut from Pool Party cardstock and added to the front.
The jar is stamped with Pool Party Ink and the stems with Old Olive Ink on Whisper White cardstock and punched with the Jar Punch.
The flowers are stamped with Memento Black Ink on Whisper White cardstock and colored with Poppy Parade Combo, Mango Melody Combo, Old Olive Combo and Dark Pool Party Stampin’ Blends. It is hand-cut an added on top of the jar, then attached to the rectangle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The greeting from Many Mates is stamped with Memento Black Ink and cut with the Stitched So Sweetly Die, then added on front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A couple Gold Glitter Dots are added to the background.

IM126 – Celebrate Sunflower

Happy Monday! It’s time for our Create with Connie and Mary Inspiration Monday challenge! This week’s inspiration is a beautiful sunflower cake! Wow! Stunning!

Of course, I just HAD to use my new Celebrate Sunflower Bundle on my card!

Stampin’ Details:

- The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Thick Whisper White cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
- The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Whisper White cardstock is embossed with the Old World Paper Embossing Folder
- A 2-1/2 x 4 piece of Forever Greenery DSP was cut with deep flags on each end.
- The sunflowers were stamped with Memento Black Ink on Whisper White cardstock, then colored with Daffodil Delight Combo, Dark Mango Melody and Dark Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends. The center was colored with Bronze Stampin’ Blends. The leaves were colored with Light Granny Apple Green and Light Shaded Spruce Blends. They were cut out with the Sunflower Dies and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The greenery from the Sunflower Dies were cut from Shaded Spruce and trimmed down, then tucked under the flowers.
- The greeting from Celebrate Sunflower was stamped with Shaded Spruce on Whisper White cardstock, then cut with the Tasteful Labels Die and added on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I absolutely LOVE how this card turned out!!! And I think it really resembles the cake, don’t you? OK…check out what Mary did with the Inspiration Monday Challenge over on Create with Connie and Mary! Our cards were pretty similar…of course we both used Timeless Tropical! lol!

Saturday Blog Hop – Favorite New Preorder Product

Happy Saturday! It’s time for the Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop! This week the Design Team is featuring their favorite preorder product…that is NOT a stamp set! There are SO many wonderful new products, it was hard to choose, but I do LOVE the new In Good Taste Designer Paper! The wood grains and TILES…oh my…they are right on trend! If you watch HGTV, you have been seeing a LOT of these tile designs being used!

IN GOOD TASTE

I also used 4 out of 5 In Colors on this card (aren’t they great this year?) and the wonderful Tasteful Label Dies are another new favorite of mine!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Misty Moonlight cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
Two 7″ lengths of Misty Moonlight In Color Ribbon were added diagonally across the 4 x 5-1/4 layer of In Good Taste Designer Paper. It was added to the base.
The Misty Midnight cardstock was cut with the Tasteful Label Die and then stamped with Versamark and embossed with White Embossing Powder using the greeting in the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set.
Three Bloom flowers were punched from Bumble Bee cardstock and two from Just Jade cardstock. Two Just Jade petals were cut off and added as leaves under the flowers.
The Magenta Madness In Color Enamel Dots were added to the centers of the flowers.

CCMC614 – Beautiful World

Happy Thursday! Time for another Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge…this time a fun sketch to try!

I decided to replace the circle in the sketch with the globe from Beautiful World! This is SUCH a great bundle! I’m thinking of using this card for my May Club Class (I’m posting this early!!) I also used two of the new In Colors on here!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Just Jade cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
The 4 x 4 piece of World of Good Designer Paper has two 1/2 x 3-1/2 pieces of Early Espresso cardstock adhered on each side. (LOVE the brass accents in the DSP…hard to see!) It was added to the base card.
The globe stand was cut with the World Map Dies from Early Espresso cardstock, the background globe from Misty Moonlight and the top portion from Just Jade cardstock. All were adhered together and added to the front.
A 1/8 x 3-1/2 piece of Misty Moonlight was added to the front.
Adventure was omit stamped with the Early Espresso Marker, then stamped on Whisper White. It was trimmed and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
An In Color Enamel Dot (Cinnamon Cider) was added to the globe.

Don’t you love it? I really do!!! It’s a great masculine looking card. My hubby would like it! OK…make sure to check out what the rest of the Challenge Team did with this sketch over on Create with Connie and Mary! Then grab your stamps and play along!

IM125 – Timeless Tropical

Happy Monday! It’s time for our Create with Connie and Mary Inspiration Monday challenge! This week’s inspiration are some darling cookies! I know I’ve said it before, but I sure wish I could decorate cookies like that!

Of course, Timeless Tropical stamp set has the PERFECT flower to use!

Stampin’ Details:

- The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Melon Mambo cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
- On top the 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Crumb Cake cardstock was embossed with the Brick & Mortar Embossing Folder, then rubbed with Crumb Cake Ink on the raised areas.
- A 2-3/4 x 4 piece of Tropical Oasis DSP was added on top.
- Two 1/4 x 5 pieces of Granny Apple Green cardstock were placed across the DSP.
- The hibiscus flower was stamped once with Granny Apple Green Ink and once with Melon Mambo Ink on Whisper White cardstock. They were colored with Light Granny Apple Green Blends and Light Flirty Flamingo Blends, then cut with the In The Tropics Dies. The centers were drawn with Light Basic Black Blends. They were added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Three leaves were stamped with Memento Black Ink, then colored with Dark Soft Sea Foam and Light Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends. They were tucked under the flowers with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The greeting was stamped with Memento Black Ink on 3/4 x 3 Melon Mambo cardstock, then cut the ends at an angle and added to the front.
- Two Melon Mambo Glitter Dots were added on the upper corner of the DSP for a little bling!

Saturday Blog Hop – Favorite Preorder Stamp Set

Happy Saturday! It’s time for the Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop! Many demos are getting their preorders and we are starting to see some fabulous works of art using them! This week our theme is Favorite Preorder Stamp Set. Well, if you know me, that is nearly impossible to choose! But, I went with one that did catch my eye right away. And, although I LOVE the dies in this set, I was just in the mood for some coloring!

CELEBRATE SUNFLOWER

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Thick Whisper White, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
On the 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Whisper White cardstock, the 1-1/4 x 5-1/4 piece of Just Jade In Color 6×6 DSP was added on the right side.
A 3 x 4 piece of Cinnamon Cider cardstock was punched with the Detailed Trio Punch, both the corner design and the corner rounder. (I can’t believe I JUST bought this punch! I’ve used it quite a bit already!) It was added on an angle to the front of the card.
The sunflower was stamped with Crushed Curry Ink on Whisper White, then colored with Light & Dark Pumpkin Pie, Light & Dark Mango Melody and Light Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends.
The inside center was colored with Bronze Blends, then dotted with the Early Espresso Marker to resemble the “seeds” of the sunflower.
The leaves were stamped with Shaded Spruce Ink, then colored with Light & Dark Shaded Spruce Blends.
All were cut out using the Sunflowers Dies and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Thanks a bunch was stamped on a 3/4 x 3-1/2 piece of Whisper White and added to the front.
Two In Color Enamel Dots were added for a little bling.

CCMC613 – Dressed to Impress

Happy Thursday! We have a soft and pretty color challenge today over on Create with Connie and Mary! Make sure to stop by and see what our awesome Challenge Team has done this week!

This is one of the Mother’s Day cards I made this year! I love the Dressed to Impress Bundle, but haven’t used the purse as much as I wanted. I thought it would be fun to add a portion of it to the front of a card!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Seaside Spray cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
On the 4 x 5-1/4 layer of So Saffron cardstock, the sprinkle image was stamped with So Saffron Ink in the upper left and lower right corners.
The front of the purse was cut from Smoky Slate cardstock with the All Dressed Up Dies, then added on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Two of the buckles were cut from Silver Foil Paper with the All Dressed Up Dies.
The 6″ Seaside Spray Metallic Ribbon was placed thru the buckles, then added to the front of the purse with Mini Glue Dots.
The greeting was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Whisper White cardstock, then cut with the label in All Dressed Up Dies and added with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The roses from Dressed to Impress Stamp Set were stamped with Memento Black Ink on Whisper White cardstock, then colored with Light & Dark So Saffron and Light & Dark Seaside Spray. They were cut with the All Dressed Up Dies, then added around the greeting label with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
