IM425 – Springtime Scenes

Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration is a green print…aren’t the swirls pretty?

SPRINGTIME SCENES

I used the circles in the Springtime Scenes Dies to create the look of swirls on my card!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Lemon Lime Twist cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Garden Green cardstock was stamped with the leaf image randomly across the front using Garden Green Ink.
The Springtime Scenes solid circle and ring were cut from Lemon Lime Twist cardstock, the partial leaf circle from Granny Apple Green cardstock and the all-over leaf circle from Granny Apple Green cardstock. All were adhered to the front.
The greeting was stamped with Garden Green Ink on Basic White cardstock and cut with the label in the Springtime Scenes dies and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Two fern leaves were cut from Garden Green cardstock and adhered next to the label with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Two large flowers were cut from Basic White cardstock and the center flowers from Granny Apple Green cardstock and adhered together, then placed on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Two Low Profile Sparkle Dots were added to the centers of the flowers.

Saturday Blog Hop – Casing Cindy Elam 2026

It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop. For the next several weeks we will be “Casing the Designer”. Each week we have picked a designer and will select a card she designed. We will use the Colors or Layout of her design and recreate our version using NEW stamps/bundles or DSP! For our next “Case the Designer” week we are “Casing Cindy Elam”!

Here’s the card I selected from her past posts.

SEASONAL CELEBRATIONS

One of the reasons I purchase this Seasonal Celebrations set was for the variety of simple holiday icons…like this shamrock for St. Patrick’s Day! I only wished they would have put some small greetings for each of the holidays in there, too! I don’t have any here that say “Happy St. Patrick’s Day!”

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Thick Basic White cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White was embossed with the Beautiful Pattern Embossing Folder and adhered to the front.
I used the Three Banner Punch and punched three banners from Garden Green cardstock, then cut them in half so I could “extend” them under the arch. They were adhered to the front.
The Everyday Arches was cut from Basic White using the Die and the greeting from Banner Sayings stamped with Garden Green at the bottom. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals over the cut banners.
The shamrock was stamped with Garden Green Ink on Basic White and hand-cut, then added to the arch with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Some Linen Thread was tied in a bow and added to the shamrock stem.
A trio of Dear Dots were added to the background.

Nice and easy way to copy Cindy’s card…think I’ll do a few of these for my St. Patrick’s Day cards to mail out! CSF908 – Fragrant Flowers

It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge! We have a pretty color combination today!

FRAGRANT FLOWERS

I was happy with how the light and dark colors played out on today’s card using Fragrant Flowers! The two-step stamping made it SO easy! The Blackberry Bliss really pulls out the purple undertones in the Cloud Cover color!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Cloud Cover cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White was stamped with Memento Black Ink in the lower right corner and a portion in the upper right corner.
The flower petals were stamped with Cloud Cover Ink, the centers with Blackberry Bliss Ink and the leaves with Old Olive Ink.
The greeting was stamped with Blackberry Bliss Ink on Cloud Cover cardstock and cut with the label Die. Another label die was cut from Blackberry Bliss. They were placed together and adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals on the front.
The Old Olive Rick Rack Ribbon naturally curls, so I cut about 8″ and tied a knot, then let it curl and added it with a couple Mini Glue Dots on the side of the label.
A trio of Moody Palette Dots were added to the background.

Our Creatively Simple theme this month is “Hoppy Easter”!

SEASONAL CELEBRATIONS

I love the bold shapes and variety in the Seasonal Celebrations stamp set! This bunny is especially cute and this card came together pretty quickly! I used the new Stampin’ Positioner to create the background of flowers!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Lost Lagoon cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Berry Burst was stamped with the Easter Basket greeting at the bottom in Memento Black Ink.
The 3-1/4 x 4 piece of Basic White cardstock was stamped with the row of flowers in Fresh Freesia and Berry Bliss Inks using the step method for equal spacing. It was added to the front.
The bunny from Seasonal Celebrations was stamped with Basic Beige Ink on Basic White cardstock and hand-cut, then added to the corner with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Some black Baker’s Twine was tied in a bow and added to the ears with a Mini Glue Dot.
One of the flowers was stamped again with Berry Burst Ink on Basic White cardstock and hand-cut, then added to the Black Baker’s Twine with a Mini Glue Dot.
A small white Pearlized Faceted Circle was added to the center of the flower.

IM424 – Gliding Garden Swing

Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration is a tree swing! I always wanted one when I was young but we never had large enough swings in our yard.

GLIDING GARDEN SWING

This is another fun set that I think has been overlooked! This card is mostly die cuts so it comes together quickly once the cutting is done! I love that BIG tree die!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Basic Beige cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock was stamped with the greeting in the upper right corner and the grass along the bottom with Garden Green Ink. Some Garden Green Ink was brushed around the area where the tree limb will be.
The tree was cut with the die from Early Espresso cardstock and trimmed to fit the Basic White cardstock and adhered.
The swing was cut from Basic Beige cardstock and brushed with Pecan Pie Ink to age. It was added to the tree limbs with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The tree leaves were cut from Garden Green and layered flat and with Stampin’ Dimensionals across the limb.
The flowers were cut from Pretty in Pink cardstock using the Die and adhered to the tree limbs and one at the base of the tree and some going down the swing.
The pillow was stamped with Memento Black Ink and colored with Pretty in Pink, Peach Pie and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. It was cut with the die and tucked on the bench with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

MATCH DAY

And here is the card that I recreated using her layout and the Match Day Bundle and DSP!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Thick Basic White cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 3-7/8 x 5-1/8 layer of Azure Afternoon was added on top.
The A Wonderful Match DSP was cut to 3-3/4 x 5 and added to the Azure Afternoon cardstock.
The Stitched Shapes circle was cut from Azure Afternoon cardstock and adhered to the front, flat.
The trophy was cut from Silver Foil Paper and added to the circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The flag was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock and colored with Poppy Parade and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends. It was cut with the Die and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The soccer ball detail was cut from Basic Black cardstock and adhered to Basic White cardstock, then hand-cut around the circle shape. It was added to the circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The greeting was omit stamped with Azure Afternoon Ink on Basic White cardstock, then trimmed to read Biggest Fan. The end was cut at an angle. It was added on top of the soccer ball, flat.

It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge! We have a fun sketch today!

MATCH DAY

I was SO happy to see this bundle in the new Online Exclusives preorder (coming in March for customers!) I have two grandchildren who play soccer and I know I’ll get a lot of use out of it! Plus, it is a great set for kids or any age sports enthusiast! AND…I can use the net for my lacrosse and hockey players, too!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Granny Apple Green cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White is added on top.
The A Wonderful Match tag sheet was cut (the top tag portion cut off, too) and added to the background (love that stripe!)
The 1/2 x 5 strip of Garden Green cardstock was cut with a banner end, then adhered across the front.
The soccer ball was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock and cut with the Die. It was added to the DSP with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The goal net was cut from Gray Granite cardstock with the die and added to a 2-3/8 x 4 piece of Shaded Spruce cardstock. The top corners were clipped at an angle. It was added to the front over the soccer ball with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The grass was cut from Granny Apple Green using the Die, then added under the goal net.
The greeting was stamped with Shaded Spruce Ink in the upper right corner.
A trio of black Wonderful Stars Puffy Stickers were added to the goal net.

CS232 – Easter Basket

Our Creatively Simple theme this month is “Hoppy Easter”!

EASTER BASKET

I’ve used the Easter Basket Bundle again this week! And the DSP is so thick and rich…you could almost use it as a base for your card!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Thick Basic White cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Crushed Curry cardstock was added on top.
The 4 x 4 piece of Easter Joy DSP was added to the top of the Crushed Curry c/s.
The Beautifully Celebrated medallion was cut with the Die from Balmy Blue cardstock and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The bunny, chick and two flower clusters were stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock and colored with Pretty in Pink, Bubble Bath, Peach Pie, Lemon Lime Twist and Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends. They were cut with the Dies and added everything except the chick was added to the medallion with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The grass was cut with the Die from Shy Shamrock and added along the bottom and the chick added over the grass with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Hello Spring was stamped with Memento Black Ink on 1/2 x 2 Basic White strip, then the end cut at an angle. It was adhered flat.
