Saturday Blog Hop – Happy Halloween

It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop. This week’s challenge is “Happy Halloween”!

GINGERBREAD MAN FRANKENSTEIN

Halloween is this week already! I love seeing the little kids and their costumes! You probably saw my Gingerbread Man Witch from Thursday’s challenge…but I also created a Frankenstein for today’s challenge! He’s so cute!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Pumpkin Pie cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Smoky Slate cardstock was added on top.
The 1 x 5-1/4 strip of Spooky Sweet DSP was added to the left side.
The gingerbread man was cut from Granny Apple Green using just one side of the Die and his hand rounded to finish it off.
Another gingerbread man was cut from Basic Black cardstock and his clothes cut for the neck, sleeves and pants. A piece was also trimmed off for his hair and the top of his head flattened.
The bolts for his neck are the ends of the candy shape die cut off, sponged with Smoky Slate Ink, and adhered behind his head.
The eyes and mouth were stamped with Memento Black Ink and the scars drawn with the Black Marker.
Eek, the web and spider from Fright Night Dies were cut from Smoky Slate cardstock and added to his clothing.
A White Gel Pen was used to draw the thread from the web to the spider body and the spider eyes.
Frankenstein was added to the front of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
One of the potion bottle label die cuts from the DSP was added to his hand with a Stampin’ Dimensional.
A trio of purple Shimmer Star Foam Stockers were added to the web and the top of the potion bottle. A small white one added to the spider body.

CSF892 – Gingerbread Man

It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge! It’s a pretty color challenge this week!

Well, you know how much I love making characters from stamp sets! Remember my series of ornament characters a couple years ago? Here’s another one using Gingerbread Man and Fright Night Dies on a slimline card shape! SOOOO fun!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 7 x 8-1/2 Mossy Meadow cardstock, scored at 3-1/2 and folded.
A 3-1/4 x 8-1/4 piece of orange stripe Spooky Sweet DSP was added on top.
A 2 x 3-1/4 piece of Basic Black cardstock was torn across the top and then added for the “ground” along the bottom.
One side of the Gingerbread Man was cut from Granny Apple Green cardstock and the face stamped with Memento Black Ink. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The hat is the tree from the Ornamental Christmas Dies cut from Basic Black cardstock, trimmed shorter, and the hat brim 3/8″ x 2-1/2 with rounded edges. The hat band is 1/8″ x 1-1/2 Spooky Sweet DSP trimmed to fit the hat. It was added to her head with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The hair is 3/4 x 1-1/2 black striped Spooky Sweet DSP hand cut for the strands and tucked under the hat.
The dress is the body of the Gingerbread Man cut from Petunia Pop print Spooky Sweet DSP and the arms trimmed off.
The spiderweb from Fright Night Dies was cut from Basic Gray cardstock and the spider from Basic Black cardstock. They were added to the upper left corner.
Boo from Fright Night Dies was cut from Pumpkin Pie cardstock and added to the top.
The bow from Gingerbread Man Dies was cut from Pumpkin Pie cardstock and added along her neck.
The cauldron is from the Spooky Sweet DSP die cuts and added to the bottom with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Some Shimmer Star Foam Stickers were added to her hat band, her bow, the spider, and the bubbles in the cauldron.

CS216 – Wicked Halloween

Our Creatively Simple theme this month is “Fright Night”! Halloween is right around the corner!

SPOOKY HALLOWEEN

Another simple card using mostly the Spooky Sweet Designer Paper! Not much stamping…just a few bats!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Pumpkin Pie cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of black diagonal print Spooky Sweets DSP was stamped with the Spooky Halloween bats image in Memento Black Ink in the upper right corner. It was layered on the front.
A 1/2 x 5-1/4 strip of candy Spooky Sweet DSP was adhered along the bottom.
The letters WICKED were cut from Basic Black cardstock using the Mini Alphabet dies and adhered to the upper left side.
The broom and bat were die-cuts from the Spooky Sweet Designer Paper and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A trio of purple Shimmer Star Foam Stickers were added to the background.

IM407 – Snowy Delights

Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration is a pretty snowflake!

SNOWY DELIGHTS

I have several snowflake sets, but this one is brand new for me! I love that it has stencils, stamps AND dies! I just used this pretty snowflake die on my card for today’s challenge! This would be a VERY easy card to mass produce for your Christmas cards this year!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Thick Basic White cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Azure Afternoon cardstock was embossed with the Soft Waves Embossing Folder and added to the front.
A 2 x 4 piece of Basic White cardstock was torn across the top and the Snowy Delights greeting stamped with Azure Afternoon ink in the center. It was added to the bottom.
The snowflake was cut with the die from Basic White cardstock and added to the front tucked slightly under the “snowbank”.
The medium blue Traditional Sparkling Sequins were added to the arms of the snowflake, and the center holds a small one.

Saturday Blog Hop – Halloween Glam

It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop. This week’s challenge is “Halloween Glam”…what do you think of when you hear that? I think of sparkle…but Stampin’ Up! doesn’t have any glimmer paper in the color I needed in their current lineup! So, I dressed up my ghost in flowers so she’s kind of glamourous! And the Flat Pearls do add a little sparkle!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Timid Tiger cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and olded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Spooky Sweet Designer Paper was added on top.
A coordinating1-1/4 x 4 strip of Spooky Sweet DSP was added over it towards the bottom.
The ghost is the Everyday Arches cut from Basic White cardstock and the bottom trimmed as a curvy line.
The eyes are the small Impressions Abloom centers cut from Basic Black cardstock.
The Impressions Abloom flowers were cut from Timid Tiger and Peach Pie cardstocks, the leaf stems and centers from Pecan Pie cardstock, the center of the small flowers from DSP and the other flowers from Basic Black cardstock using the dies. They were assembled next to the ghost and added with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Boo from Choose Happy stamp set was stamped with Memento Black Ink on 3/8 x 1 Peach Pie cardstock and the end cut on an angle. It was tucked in the flowers with a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional.
A trio of 2025-27 In Color Flat Pearls were added to the background.

CSF891 – Christmas Greenery

It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge! It’s a cool sketch challenge this week!

CHRISTMAS GREENERY & TRADITIONAL LABELS

I used mostly DSP and dies to make this card! I had a couple pieces already made on my desk, so just combined them! I didn’t realize I had used multiple die sets until it was finished! lol!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Mossy Meadow cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Old Olive is embossed with the Peaceful Greenery Embossing Folder and added to the front.
The tag was cut with the Festive Friends Die from Traditions of Christmas DSP…love this poinsettia print! It was added at an angle to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The poinsettia spray from the Traditionals of Christmas DSP was cut with the Christmas Greenery Die and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The greeting from Traditional Labels was stamped with Mossy Meadow Ink on Basic White and cut with the Traditional Labels Die and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The pine needle greenery from Christmas Greeney Dies was cut from Mossy Meadow, and cut in hlf, then tucked under the Poinsettia spray on each side.
Some White 1/4″ Ribbon was tied in a bow and added to the tag at the top with a Mini Glue Dot.
A trio of gold Traditional Sparkle Sequins were added to the background and more added to the center of the flowers.

It’s a new month! Our Creatively Simple theme this month is “Fright Night”! Halloween is right around the corner!

SPOOKY HALLOWEEN & FRIGHT NIGHT

This is a SIMPLE card using the two Halloween die sets…Spooky Halloween & Fright Night…with a little designer paper! So easy to pull together!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Gorgeous Grape cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Secret Sea cardstock was added on top.
The larger label was cut with the Fright Night Die from Spooky Sweet Designer Paper and added to the front right bottom.
The house and bats were cut with the Spooky Halloween Dies from Basic Black cardstock. The 1-1/4 x 2-1/4 Darling Duckling cardstock was adhered behind the house and then trimmed out for the windows and doors. They were added to the label with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Boo from Fright Night Dies and the fence from Spooky Halloween Dies were cut from Gorgeous Grape cardstock and added to the front.
The crow and pumpkins are on the Spooky Sweet Die-cut Sheet and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A trio of Shimmer Star Foam Stickers were added to the background.

IM406 – Patterned Tags

Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration is a pine branch!

PATTERNED TAGS

Did you overlook these stand-alone tag dies? While I was looking for pinecones, I saw my Patterned Tags Dies and the tag with the pine branches! Yes, I can work with that! It’s my first time using these dies…but they are SO pretty I had to buy them!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Crumb Cake cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Pecan Pie cardstock is embossed with the Peaceful Greenery Embossing Folder and adhered to the front.
The solid Patterned Tags was cut from Old Olive cardstock and the pine needle one from Garden Green cardstock. They were adhered together with thin strips of Stampin’ Dimensionals and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The pop-out pine branches were adhered to the top of the tag.
The bow was cut with the Die from Poppy Parade Ink, adhered the loops together and added over the pine branches at the top.
Two acorns were cut from Pecan Pie cardstock with the Branching Out Dies and adhered under the bow.
The greeting from Branching Out stamp set was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Crumb Cake cardstock and cut with a 1-1/4″ Circle. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Some gold Traditional Sparkling Sequins were added to the bow and the background.
