CSF818 – Round We Go

It’s Thursday and you know that means it is time for a Create with Stamping Friends Thursday Challenge. Isn’t this a pretty color combination?

ROUND WE GO

This is another bundle that I thought would be fun to work with! I’ve created my own “designer paper” using the images in the background with these three colors!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Summer Splash cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White was stamped with the larger medallion in Highland Heather Ink, the next size smaller in Summer Splash Ink and the confetti image with Blueberry Bushel Ink.
A 1 x 4 strip of 2024-26 In Color Designer Paper was added across the front.
The middle image was stamped with Summer Splash Ink on scrap Basic White and cut with the starburst Round We Go Die, the daisy Die cut from Highland Heather cardstock and the center cut from Blueberry Bushel cardstock. They were assembled and added to the DSP with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Hip Hip Hooray from Round We Go was stamped with Highland Heather on a 1/2 x 3 piece of Basic White, the end cut in a flag and added over the DSP.
Five Summer Splash 2024-26 In Color Resin Dots were added to the background centers and the medallion center on the front.

CS141 – Citrus Blooms

Welcome to Create with Stamping Friends Creatively Simple Challenge! Each month Debbie and I will pick a theme for our simple cards. This month the theme is “Appreciation”.

CITRUS BLOOMS

I had to pull out my new Citrus Blooms Suite…I was so excited to use it! But, to keep it simple, I just used the greenery die, some DSP and a couple of the small, stamped flowers! I REALLY wish they would have included a lemon stamp image, too, because I love this paper!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Lemon Lolly cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
Two 2 x 4 pieces of the Mediterranean Blooms Designer Paper were torn across the top and bottom and then added to a 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock, then adhered to the front.
The greenery piece was cut with the Citrus Blooms Die from Old Olive cardstock and added to the center with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The Citrus Blooms greeting was stamped with Old Olive Ink on Lemon Lolly cardstock and cut with the Unbounded Love label Dies. It was adhered to the greenery.
Three flowers from Citrus Blooms stamp set were stamped with Daffodil Delight Ink on Basic White and cut with the Citrus Blooms Dies, then added to the front with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Some yellow Opal Rounds Assortment were added to the center of the flowers.

IM332 – Country Flowers

Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration challenge is a pile of colorful bedding!

COUNTRY FLOWERS

I used the new Full of Life Designer Paper cut to a point in the center to replicate the layers of bedding in the photo! I think it worked out pretty well!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Boho Blue cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 3 x 5-1/2 piece of Full of Life 6×6 DSP was marked at 1″ on each end, then cut diagonally to a point at the 3″ mark on the side. It was added to the base card.
The circle was cut with the Spotlight on Nature Dies and popped up on the front.
The teapot was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Pumpkin Pie and the flowers on Basic White. They were colored with Stampin’ Blends and cut with the Country Flowers Dies, then added to the circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The greeting was stamped on a 1/2 x 2-1/2 piece of Boho Blue with Memento Black Ink and the ends cut at an angle. It was added with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals on the front.
A trio of clear Opal Rounds Assortment were added to the background.

It’s Thursday and you know that means it is time for a Create with Stamping Friends Thursday Challenge. I love the sketch this week!!! Try it for yourself!

ATTENTION SHOPPERS

This Attention Shoppers bundle is just SO fun to use! I especially love that you can color the bags in whatever color you want! I’ve used three of the new In Colors…they just coordinate SO well together!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Summer Splash cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock is embossed with the So Swirly Embossing Folder.
Three colors from the 2024-26 In Color 6×6 DSP was cut with the Countryside Corners Die and added to the front.
The shopping bag was stamped three times with Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock and cut with the Attention Shoppers Dies. They were colored with Petunia Pop, Peach Pie and Summer Splash Stampin’ Blends, then added to the front of the labels with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Happy birthday from Attention Shoppers was stamped with Memento Black Ink on 1/2 x 3 Basic White and the end cut at an angle. It was added with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Some white Basics Baker’s Twine was tied in a bow and added to the shopping bag on the left.

CS140 – Spotlight on Nature

Welcome to Create with Stamping Friends Creatively Simple Challenge! Each month Debbie and I will pick a theme for our simple cards. This month the theme is “Appreciation”. Sending a thank you card is so easy and much appreciated by the recipient! I wish I thought to do it more often!

SPOTLIGHT ON NATURE

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Shy Shamrock cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 3-3/4 x 5 layer of Basic White cardstock is stamped with the leaf image from Spotlight on Nature stamp set with Shy Shamrock Ink in the upper left and lower left corners.
A Blending Brush was also used to lightly brush the background behind the leaves. The Basic White was added to the base card.
A 3/4 x 3-3/4 strip of In Color 6×6 DSP was added across the front.
Thanks from Spotlight on Nature was stamped with Memento Black Ink on 1/2 x 2 piece of Basic White and then cut at an angle. It was also stamped off with Shy Shamrock Ink using the hash mark image, then added to the DSP with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A trio of Shy Shamrock In Color Resin Dots were added to the background.

IM331 – Flower Cart

Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration challenge is a rustic cart filled with flowers!

FLOWER CART

OK…what else could I use but the Flower Cart bundle? I gave it a rustic feel with the new Country Woods Designer Paper!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Petunia Pop cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Crumb Cake was embossed with the Exposed Brick Embossing Folder and sponged along the edges with Crumb Cake Ink.
A 1-1/2 x 4 piece of Country Woods Designer Paper was torn across the top and added to the bottom of the Crumb Cake layer.
The wheels and crat from Flower Cart were cut from the Country Woods DSP (same sheet, I just reversed the crate paper and the wheel paper to give it two different patterns). They were added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The greenery was stamped with Lemon Lime Twist Ink on Basic White, then added accents with the Dark Old Olive Stampin’ Blends.
The flowers were stamped with Petunia Pop Ink on the greenery, then some added accents with Light Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends. It was cut with the Dies and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The greeting from Flower Cart was stamped with Petunia Pop Ink on Basic White and cut with the Unbounded Love Die.
A length of Petunia Pop Bordered Ribbon was added across the front and secured in the back, then the label added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A trio of green Iridescent Adhesive Backed Disks were added to the background.

CSF Saturday Blog Hop – Neutrals Palette

It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop. This week our theme is “Neutrals Color Palette”. Our Design Team will use only whites, grays, ivory, browns or black on their cards this week!

LAYERS OF BEAUTY

I haven’t made a “vintage” looking card for a LONG time! I thought the Layers of Beauty stamp set would be perfect for this week’s theme.

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 new Basic Beige cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Pecan Pie cardstock was embossed with the new Eyelet Embossing Folder and the edges roughed up and curled. It was adhered on the front.
The large flower cluster from Layers of Beauty was stamped with Pecan Pie Ink on Basic Beige cardstock and cut with the Layers of Beauty Die. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and some of the edges curled up.
The extra leaves were cut with the dies from Basic White cardstock and adhered behind the main image.
The tag from the Layers of Beauty Dies was cut from both Pecan Pie and Basic White cardstock. The Basic White was stamped with the “hello” image from Unbounded Love stamp set in Pecan Pie Ink. They were adhered together with a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional.
The tags were tied with Linen Thread tied in a bow on the front with big loops and long tails.

I’m really happy with how this turned out! I “may” be using this idea for my Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip swaps…have to get working on those! By the time you read this, I’m on my way home from the trip. I bet we have an AWESOME time! It’s Thursday and you know that means it is time for a Create with Stamping Friends Thursday Challenge. It’s a pretty Color combination this week!

EVERYDAY DETAILS

If you notice, I added Lemon Lolly Ink to some of the stems in the nest because they reminded me of forsythia branches! For several years, I have had an artificial forsythia grapevine wreath on my front door in the spring and every year the birds raid it to build their nests! I finally had to retire it this year because they had picked at it so bad it had bald spots!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Lost Lagoon cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 1-1/2 x 4 piece of Lost Lagoon cardstock and 1-1/4 x 4 piece of Lemon Lolly cardstock were added to the front of a 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Pecan Pie, then embossed with the Timber Embossing Folder. It was added to the front of the base card.
The swirl pattern from A Little Latte Designer Paper was cut with the Everyday Details rectangle Die and added to a 2-3/4 x 4 piece of Very Vanilla cardstock. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The greeting was stamped with Lost Lagoon Ink towards the top.
The nest was stamped with Pecan Pie Ink on Very Vanilla cardstock, then watercolored with Pecan Pie, Lost Lagoona and Lemon Lolly Inks and Water Painter. It was hand-cut.
Some Lemon Lolly Baker’s Twine from the Three-Color Pack was looped several times and added to the front with the nest over top with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Some Wink of Stella was added to the eggs.
Three vanilla Adhesive Backed Swirl Dots were added to the background.
