Saturday Blog Hop – Autumn Essentials

Happy Saturday! This week our Saturday Blog Hop theme is “Autumn Essentials”! We are showing off our favorite things of fall! One of my most favorite things about fall in the Midwest are the changing colors of leaves. Yellows, reds, oranges and greens are SO pretty decorating the hills. We normally will take a long Sunday drive just to see them! This is a quick little box I made up to hold a fall Bath & Body Works hand sanitizer to give away as a gift for my tablemates at a recent scrapbooking retreat I attended.

Stampin’ Details:

The bottom is 5-1/4 x 5-15/16 of Cajun Craze cardstock, scored at 2″ on each side, trim the ends and form the box bottom.
The sleeve around it is 2 x 11, scored at 5 and 6-1/4, then adhered outside around the bottom (and attached only at the bottom).
A 1-3/4 x 4-12 piece of Gilded Autumn Designer Paper is added to the front.
A 1/8 hole was punched at the top and some Linen Thread tied in a bow.
The Stitched Leaves Dies were cut from Mint Macaron and Cajun Craze, then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The label from Tasteful Labels was cut from Very Vanilla cardstock and stamped with the greeting from Autumn Goodness stamp set in Early Espresso Ink and added with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The acorn from Banner Year was stamped with Crumb Cake and colored with the Early Espresso Marker for the top. It was hand-cut and added to the label with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A couple Champagne Rhinestones were added to decorate the leaves.

CCMC632 – Autumn Goodness

Happy Thursday! Time for another Create with Connie and Mary Challenge…this time a pretty, fall color combination!

I’ve used Autumn Goodness (again!) on today’s card…the colors were perfect for coloring the floral image, although I did add a hint of yellow to represent the gold in the designer paper.

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Mint Macaron cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
On top is a 4 x 5-1/4 piece of Gilded Autumn Designer Paper, the metallics are SO pretty in this DSP!
The 3-1/4 x 4-1/4 piece of Early Espresso cardstock was added on a diagonal to the front.
The 3/4 x 4 piece of coordinating Gilded Autumn DSP was added across the front.
The rectangle was cut from Very Vanilla cardstock with the Stitched Rectangles Dies.
The floral bouquet was stamped up and down on the rectangle with Memento Black Ink and the greeting in the center with Cajun Craze Ink , then colored with Cajun Craze Combo, Mint Macaron Combo, Bronze and Dark Daffodil Delight Blends. It was added with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A trio of Champagne Rhinestones were added in the background for a little bling!

IM138 – Autumn Goodness

Happy Monday! It’s time for our Create with Connie and Mary Inspiration Monday challenge! This week’s inspiration is some fun color yarn!

At first I was really stumped on what direction to go with my card. To me, these colors don’t coordinate very well. But, I thought that flowers could have these colors, so I pulled out my Autumn Goodness Bundle to use. I think it went together really well!

Stampin’ Details:

- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Cinnamon Cider cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Purple Posy was added on top.
- A 2-1/2 x 5-1/4 piece of Plaid Tidings Designer Paper was added to the left side.
- The largest Stitched So Sweetly rectangle was cut from Whisper White and the greeting from Autumn Goodness was stamped with Cinnamon Cider Ink in the upper right corner. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The wheelbarrow from Autumn Goodness was stamped with Cinnamon Cider Ink on Bumblebee cardstock, then cut with the Autumn Wheelbarrow Dies. It was added to the rectangle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The spokes of the wheel was cut from Cinnamon Cider cardstock and added to the wheelbarrow with a Mini Glue Dot.
- The floral bunch was stamped with Memento Black Ink, then colored with Light Cinnamon Cider, Dark Mango Melody, Purple Posy Combo, and Light Rich Razzleberry Stampin’ Blends. It was cut with the Autumn Wheelbarrow Die and added on front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- A couple gold Holiday Rhinestones were added to the corner for a little bling.

I am really surprised at how this turned out with that color combination! I’m glad this plaid had those colors in it to pull it together. OK…check out what Mary did with the Inspiration Monday Challenge over on Create with Connie and Mary!

August 2020 Maui Achievers Blog Hop

Our Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip Achievers get together each month for a Blog Hop! I’m blessed with great customers and downline who helped me achieve this year’s (AND the extended!) AUTUMN GOODNESS

I was so drawn to Stampin’ Up!’s Autumn Goodness stamp set that is in the Aug-Dec Mini Catalog. Sometimes I’m just in the mood to color and fall is a perfect time with the bright, vivid colors! This pumpkin image is one of my favorites in the set. And I didn’t even use the dies this time!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Early Espresso cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Crumb Cake was embossed with the Tasteful Textiles Embossing Folder and added on top of the base card.
A 1/2 x 4 strip of Early Espresso cardstock was placed behind a 3 x 4 piece of Gilded Autumn Designer Paper and added to the front towards the left side.
The pumpkin image from Autumn Goodness stamp set was stamped on Whisper White and colored with Pumpkin Pie Combo, Granny Apple Green combo, Real Red Combo and Crumb Cake Combo Stampin’ Blends. It was cut with the Layering Oval Die an added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The greeting (love it!) from Autumn Goodness was stamped with Early Espresso Ink on a 1/2 x 2-1/4 piece of Whisper White and cut at an angle, then layered on a 1/8 x 3-1/4 strip of Early Espresso cardstock. it was added to the front with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A trio of Champagne Rhinestones were added in the background.

Happy Thursday! Time again for the Create with Connie and Mary challenge! Another fun sketch for you to try!

I once again used my Autumn Goodness stamp set. I’m so happy that I ordered it, I’ve used it a lot more than I really expected! I guess I must be in a coloring mode right now! For this one, I featured the pumpkin cluster…I just love this image!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Crumb Cake cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Mint Macaron was embossed with the Tasteful Textures Embossing Folder for a subtle look.
A 2-3/4 x 3-3/4 piece of striped Gilded Autumn Designer Paper was added towards the left side.
The pumpkin image from Autumn Goodness stamp set was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Very Vanilla and colored with Pumpkin Pie Combo, Granny Apple Green Combo, Mango Melody Combo and Real Red Combo Stampin’ Blends. It was cut with the largest Stitched Shape Circle and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A 1/2 x 3-1/2 piece of Early Espresso cardstock was placed along the bottom.
The 1/2 x 2-3/4 piece of Crumb Cake cardstock was stamped with Thankful from Autumn Goodness in Early Espresso Ink and added on top with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Two Mint Macaron Rhinestones from the Holiday Rhinestones were added in the background for a little bling!

CCMC624 – Autumn Goodness

Hello everyone! Happy Thursday…does the time seem to be flying by for anyone else? I’m amazed at how quickly the days are going for me! This week we have a fun color challenge for you to try!

I love these new In Colors and they look great combined! I pulled out the new Autumn Goodness set (from the Aug-Dec catalog) for today’s card.

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Cinnamon Cider cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
A 2-1/2 x 4 piece of Plaid Tidings DSP was wrapped with Cinnamon Cider Ribbon and tied in a knot, then the piece added to the left side of the base card.
The 4 x 4 piece of Whisper White was cut to a point and the Just Jade “ground” was colored. The greeting was stamped with Memento Black Ink in the upper corner, then it was added to the front.
The wheelbarrow from Autumn Goodness was stamped with Early Espresso Ink and colored with Cinnamon Cider Stampin’ Blends, with a little Bronze for shadows. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The wheel was cut from Early Espresso cardstock with the Autumn Wheelbarrow Die. It was added with a Mini Glue Dot.
The flowers were stamped with Memento Black Ink and colored with Bumblebee, Just Jade and Cinnamon Cider Blends. It was added to the wheelbarrow with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I’m really happy with how this turned out! I’m glad I went ahead and got this set…so detailed and pretty! Check out what the rest of the Challenge Team did over on Create with Connie and Mary this week!
