CS143 – Tropical Leaf

Welcome to Create with Stamping Friends Creatively Simple Challenge! Each month Debbie and I will pick a theme for our simple cards. This month the theme is “Appreciation”.

TROPICAL LEAF

I’m behind, but finally getting my stamp drawers cleared out of retiring product! While doing so I saw my Tropical Leaf stamp set and punch (online exclusive) and realized I hadn’t used it in a while…so came up with the card for my Creatively Simple appreciation card this week! I did pair it with the new To Market Designer Paper!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Flirty Flamingo cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 1-1/4 x 4 piece of To Market DSP was added to the bottom of a 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White and added to the base card.
The greeting was stamped above the DSP with Garden Green Ink.
I did the baby wipe technique using Garden Green and Flirty Flamingo Inks as my ink pad and stamped the leaf three times on Basic White cardstock. I ended up coloring with Dark Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends to fill in a couple spots. They were punched with the Tropical Leaf Punch and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A trio of green Transparent Adhesive Backed Dots were added to the background.
Some Linen Thread was tied in a bow and added to the top of the middle leaf.

CSF Saturday Blog Hop – Paper Perfection 2024

It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop. This week our theme is “Paper Perfection 2024”. Our Design Team will feature their Favorite New Designer Paper from the Annual Catalog this week!

COUNTRY FLOWERS

ANOTHER hard choice this week…why did I pick such hard themes? I finally narrowed down my choice to Mediterranean Blooms DSP! And, although I love the oranges and lemon prints…the blue and white tiles really catch my eye, too! I went with a monochromatic look on today’s card using the blues!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Boho Blue cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 1/4 x 5-1/2 strip of Mediterranean Blooms small grid print was added to the left side. The larger 2-1/2 x 5-1/2 Mediterranean Blooms DSP was added next to it on the left. (I really like this mixture of DSP!)
The circle was cut from Basic White cardstock with the Spotlight on Nature Dies and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The pail and Flower Market images from Country Flowers were stamped with Night of Navy Ink on Boho Blue cardstock and cut with the Country Flowers Dies.
The flower bunch was stamped with Night of Navy Ink on Basic White and colored with Light Balmy Blue, Light Boho Blue and Old Olive Combo Stampin’ Blends. It was also cut with the Country Flowers Dies. Both were added to the circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Best Friend Ever was stamped with Night of Navy Ink on Boho Blue cardstock hand hand-cut, then added to the left side of the circle.
A trio of blue Tinsel Gems Three Pack were added to the background.

CSF819 – Country Flowers

It’s Thursday and you know that means it is time for a Create with Stamping Friends Thursday Challenge. It’s a fun sketch this week!

COUNTRY FLOWERS

I love this sweet little teapot in the Country Flowers Bundle…and combined it with the little cups in the Latte Love Dies!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Summer Splash cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Unbounded Beauty DSP is added to the front.
The 2-1/4 x 3-1/4 piece of Summer Splash cardstock was cut into a point at the bottom, then stamped with the leaf cluster randomly with Summer Splash Ink. It was added to the front.
The teapot was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Unbounded Beauty DSP. It and the lid were cut with the Country Flowers Dies and added to the tag with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Two small cups were cut from Petunia Pop cardstock with the Latte Love Dies and tea from Pecan Pie cardstock, then added to the front with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals under the teapot.
Two greenery bunches were cut with the Country Flower dies from Lemon Lime Twist cardstock and tucked under the tag.
Three flowers were cut with the dies from Peach Pie cardstock and added to the greenery and the teapot.
The greeting from Country Flowers was stamped with Petunia Pop on 1/2 x 3 Basic White cardstock and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Three of the small Summer Splash In Color Shimmer Gems were added to the center of the flowers.

CS142 – Hearts & Hugs

Welcome to Create with Stamping Friends Creatively Simple Challenge! Each month Debbie and I will pick a theme for our simple cards. This month the theme is “Appreciation”.

HEARTS & HUGS

I made up this quick card using the Hearts & Hugs Bundle! SO easy! Love these sweet badgers hugging!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Pumpkin Pie cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock was added on top.
A 1-1/4 x 5-1/4 strip of To Market Designer Paper was added down the left side.
A coordinating 3/4 x 3-1/2 pattern from To Market DSP was added across the bottom and the end cut at an angle.
The badgers were stamped with memento Black Ink on Basic White and colored with the Gray Granite Combo, Light Basic Black, Light Bubble Bath and Light Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends. They were cut out with the Hearts & Hugs Dies and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Thanks from Hearts & Hugs was stamped with Real Red Ink on 1/2 x 1-1/2 Pumpkin Pie cardstock and the end cut at an angle.
A trio of Purple Fine Shimmer Gems were added to the background.

IM333 – Inspiring Snapdragons

Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration challenge is a pretty floral mug! So nice and cheerful!

INSPIRING SNAPDRAGONS

I hadn’t used my Inspiring Snapdragons stamp set yet, so pulled it out to use it for this challenge!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Pool Party cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 3-3/4 x 5-1/8 layer of Petunia Pop cardstock was placed on an angle on the front.
The 3-1/2 x 5 layer of Basic White cardstock were inked with the snapdragons in Pool Party Ink and the stems/leaves colored with Garden Green Stampin’ Write Marker before stamping. They were highlighted with Light Summer Splash Stampin’ Blends to darken the one side of the blossoms. The “grass” was stamped with Lemon Lime Twist along the bottom. The dragonfly was inked with Petunia Pop Ink, then the body colored with the Black Stampin’ Write Marker before stamping. The layer was added to the front on the opposite angle.
The greeting from Inspiring Snapdragons was stamped with Memento Black Ink on 3/4 x 3-1/2 piece of Petunia Pop cardstock and added across the top.
A trio of Petunia Pop 2024-26 In Color Shimmer Gems were added to the background.

CSF Saturday Blog Hop – Jive Five 2024

It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop. This week our theme is “Jive Five 2024”. Our Design Team will use ALL FIVE of the new 2024-26 In Colors on their cards this week!

BIRD’S EYE VIEW

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the new In Colors and they coordinate SO well together! Mix and match them as you please! For this challenge I’ve used ALL FIVE of them, plus the new Basic Beige cardstock in the background. I channeled my friend, Mary Brown, on this card…she did something similar a while back. I just freshened the design up with the new In Colors and it looks awesome!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 NEW Basic Beige cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
Five 1 x 3 strips of 2024-26 In Color 6×6 Designer Paper were added to the background spaced about 1/8″ apart.
A 2-3/4 x 4-1/4 piece of Basic White cardstock was cut with the Radiating Stitches Die and stamped with the Unbounded Love greeting in Petunia Pop Ink at the top.
On scrap Basic White, the bird and books were stamped with Memento Black Ink and the glasses with Petunia Pop (LOVE those!) They were colored with Crumb Cake Combo and the new In Color Stampin’ Blends, hand-cut and added to the Basic White panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Three of the pink Tinsel Gems Four Pack were added to the background.

CSF818 – Round We Go

It’s Thursday and you know that means it is time for a Create with Stamping Friends Thursday Challenge. Isn’t this a pretty color combination?

ROUND WE GO

This is another bundle that I thought would be fun to work with! I’ve created my own “designer paper” using the images in the background with these three colors!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Summer Splash cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White was stamped with the larger medallion in Highland Heather Ink, the next size smaller in Summer Splash Ink and the confetti image with Blueberry Bushel Ink.
A 1 x 4 strip of 2024-26 In Color Designer Paper was added across the front.
The middle image was stamped with Summer Splash Ink on scrap Basic White and cut with the starburst Round We Go Die, the daisy Die cut from Highland Heather cardstock and the center cut from Blueberry Bushel cardstock. They were assembled and added to the DSP with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Hip Hip Hooray from Round We Go was stamped with Highland Heather on a 1/2 x 3 piece of Basic White, the end cut in a flag and added over the DSP.
Five Summer Splash 2024-26 In Color Resin Dots were added to the background centers and the medallion center on the front.

My original thought that this would be a fun graduation card! You could personalize it with their school colors! OK, go check out what the rest of the Challenge Team did with this challenge over on Create with Stamping Friends.

CS141 – Citrus Blooms

Welcome to Create with Stamping Friends Creatively Simple Challenge! Each month Debbie and I will pick a theme for our simple cards. This month the theme is “Appreciation”.

CITRUS BLOOMS

I had to pull out my new Citrus Blooms Suite…I was so excited to use it! But, to keep it simple, I just used the greenery die, some DSP and a couple of the small, stamped flowers! I REALLY wish they would have included a lemon stamp image, too, because I love this paper!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Lemon Lolly cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
Two 2 x 4 pieces of the Mediterranean Blooms Designer Paper were torn across the top and bottom and then added to a 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock, then adhered to the front.
The greenery piece was cut with the Citrus Blooms Die from Old Olive cardstock and added to the center with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The Citrus Blooms greeting was stamped with Old Olive Ink on Lemon Lolly cardstock and cut with the Unbounded Love label Dies. It was adhered to the greenery.
Three flowers from Citrus Blooms stamp set were stamped with Daffodil Delight Ink on Basic White and cut with the Citrus Blooms Dies, then added to the front with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Some yellow Opal Rounds Assortment were added to the center of the flowers.
