CS215 – Spooky Halloween

It’s a new month! Our Creatively Simple theme this month is “Fright Night”! Halloween is right around the corner!

SPOOKY HALLOWEEN & FRIGHT NIGHT

This is a SIMPLE card using the two Halloween die sets…Spooky Halloween & Fright Night…with a little designer paper! So easy to pull together!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Gorgeous Grape cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Secret Sea cardstock was added on top.
The larger label was cut with the Fright Night Die from Spooky Sweet Designer Paper and added to the front right bottom.
The house and bats were cut with the Spooky Halloween Dies from Basic Black cardstock. The 1-1/4 x 2-1/4 Darling Duckling cardstock was adhered behind the house and then trimmed out for the windows and doors. They were added to the label with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Boo from Fright Night Dies and the fence from Spooky Halloween Dies were cut from Gorgeous Grape cardstock and added to the front.
The crow and pumpkins are on the Spooky Sweet Die-cut Sheet and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A trio of Shimmer Star Foam Stickers were added to the background.

IM406 – Patterned Tags

Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration is a pine branch!

PATTERNED TAGS

Did you overlook these stand-alone tag dies? While I was looking for pinecones, I saw my Patterned Tags Dies and the tag with the pine branches! Yes, I can work with that! It’s my first time using these dies…but they are SO pretty I had to buy them!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Crumb Cake cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Pecan Pie cardstock is embossed with the Peaceful Greenery Embossing Folder and adhered to the front.
The solid Patterned Tags was cut from Old Olive cardstock and the pine needle one from Garden Green cardstock. They were adhered together with thin strips of Stampin’ Dimensionals and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The pop-out pine branches were adhered to the top of the tag.
The bow was cut with the Die from Poppy Parade Ink, adhered the loops together and added over the pine branches at the top.
Two acorns were cut from Pecan Pie cardstock with the Branching Out Dies and adhered under the bow.
The greeting from Branching Out stamp set was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Crumb Cake cardstock and cut with a 1-1/4″ Circle. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Some gold Traditional Sparkling Sequins were added to the bow and the background.

Saturday Blog Hop – Neutral Fall Colors

It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop. This week’s challenge is “Neutral Fall Colors”…a little different take on fall as I tend to think of bright reds, yellows, oranges, and greens! My card uses just a hint of pale green to complement the browns and tans!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Crumb Cake cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Pecan Pie cardstock was cut with the background Amber Autumn Die and adhered to the front.
A 1 x 4 strip of Soft Sea Foam was stamped with the greeting in Pecan Pie Ink, then adhered towards the top.
The acorn Amber Autumn image was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock and colored with Soft Sea Foam, Pecan Pie and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends. It was cut with the Dies and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Some Early Espresso Linen Thread was tied in a bow and added to the stem with a Mini Glue Dot.
A trio of cream Neutral Matte Dots were added to the background.

This really worked out well…I’m seeing a lot of these neutral colors in home decor this year!! CSF890 – Most Wonderful

It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge! It’s a fun color challenge this week!

MOST WONDERFUL

I love to use stamp sets in unexpected ways! This Most Wonderful stamp set I think would primarily be used for Christmas…but I love the autumn look I achieved using these colors!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Old Olive cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Crushed Curry cardstock was added on top.
The 3-7/8 x 5-1/8 piece of Basic White cardstock was stamped with the wreath in Old Olive Ink in the center. The leaves were colored with Crushed Curry Marker (or use the Dark Darling Duckling Stampin’ Blends). It was adhered to the Old Olive layer.
Two leaves from Amber Autumn Dies were cut from Old Olive cardstock and wheat from Crushed Curry cardstock, they were added to the right side with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Some Old Olive Linen Thread was wrapped several times and then adhered over the leaves with a Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The greeting from Amber Autumn was stamped with Old Olive Ink on 1 x 2-1/2 piece of Basic Beige cardstock and the end cut as a banner. It was added over the leaves with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Some green Low-Profile Shimmer Dots were added to the wreath and next to the greeting.

It’s a new month! Our Creatively Simple theme this month is “Fright Night”!

FRIGHT NIGHT

I love the dies in the Fright Night set…and the DSP with the fun building scenes!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Basic Gray cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Granny Apple Green cardstock was added on top.
The scene was trimmed out of the Spooky Sweet DSP and added to the left side of the front.
A coordinating 1 x 4 strip of Spooky Sweet DSP was added at the bottom.
A cobweb and banner were cut from Basic Gray cardstock, the spider and EEK from Basic Black cardstock using the dies.
The greeting was stamped with Memento Black Ink on the banner. They were added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A trio of purple Shimmer Foam Star Stickers were added to the background and one to the Spider body.

IM405 – Festive Friends

Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration is a darling little elf! I don’t remember having an elf stamp lately, so this has been fun!

FESTIVE FRIENDS

You already know I love the snowman (just finished my Christmas cards using him!), but the Santa and Elf and super cute, too!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Real Red cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Old Olive cardstock was added on top.
Two 3/4 x 5-1/4 strips of Traditions of Christmas Designer Paper were added to each side.
The tag was cut from Basic White cardstock and colored with Light Crumb Cake across the bottom for the “ground” and stamped the greeting across the top with Memento Black Ink.
The elf was stamped on scrap Basic White cardstock and colored with Old Olive, Real Red, Ivory & Bronze Stampin’ Blends. Cut with the Dies and add to the tag with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then to the front with more Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Cut two 1 x 1 pieces of Traditions of Christmas DSP from the plaid paper.
Cut two Starbursts from Real Red cardstock, add to the top of the packages with Monoadhesive glue, then add next to the elf with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Add two small Real Red & White Peppermints to the center of the bows.

It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop. This week’s challenge is “Fall Favorites”…what is your favorite thing of fall? I love pumpkins…and the colors of bright orange and purple together for fall! One of these days I’ll do my porch in entirely these colors!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Gorgeous Grape cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 3-3/4 x 5 piece of black and white Modern Christmas Designer Paper was colored with Gorgeous Grape Ink using a Blending Brush and added to the front.
A 1-1/2 x 4 piece of Pumpkin Pie cardstock was stamped with the greeting in Memento Black Ink and added towards the bottom.
The Everyday Arches was cut with the die from Basic White cardstock and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The Amber Autumn pumpkin image was stamped on Basic White cardstock with Memento Black Ink and colored with Dark Darling Duckling, Timid Tiger Combo, Dark Pumpkin Pie, Granny Apple Green and Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends. It was cut with the Die and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Some Old Olive Linen Thread was tied in a bow and added to the bottom of the pumpkins with a Mini Glue Dot.
A trio of Purple Fine Shimmer Gems were added to the background.

CSF889 – Beautiful Pumpkins

It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge! It’s a unique sketch this week!

BEAUTIFUL PUMPKINS

This card is a little “busier” than I normally would like…maybe should have used some solid shapes of cardstock mixed in with the DSP. Oh well!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Old Olive cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Crumb Cake was added on top.
Eight 1/2″ x 4 strips of Gathering together DSP were assembled on the front and the excess trimmed off the sides.
The pumpkins were stamped with Timid Tiger Ink first and Cajun Craze Ink for the detail. The stems with Pecan Pie Ink and the leaves/vine with Old Olive Ink. All were hand-cut and added to the center with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The greeting was stamped with Old Olive Ink on 3/4 x 2-1/2 piece of Basic White cardstock and trimmer to a banner edge. It was added to the top with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A trio of Cajun Craze & Gold Foil Dots were added to the background.
