IM151 – Most Wonderful Time

Happy Monday! It’s time for our Create with Connie and Mary Inspiration Monday challenge! Isn’t this a pretty stack of presents? I wasn’t quite sure if I wanted to go a Christmas theme, or since there are leaves at the base, a fall theme!

MOST WONDERFUL TIME

And it was funny, I looked at all my current stamp sets, and only a couple have gifts in them! So, I ended up with a Christmas theme…with gold stitched leaves! It worked out!

Stampin’ Details:

- The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Crumb Cake cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
- On top is a 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Whisper White cardstock.
- A 3-1/4 x 4 piece of Gorgeous Grape cardstock was stitched/embossed with the Stitched Leaves Die and added to the front.
- A 1/4 x 4-3/4 strip of Crumb Cake was added across the front.
- A 2 x 4 piece of Most Wonderful Time Designer Paper was colored with Light Crumb Cake and Light Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Blends to change the color, then added to the front.
- The presents from Most Wonderful Time stamp set were stamped with Crumb Cake Ink and the bows with Gorgeous Grape Ink (double stamped so a lighter shade is the shadow under).
- Deck the Halls from Most Wonderful Time stamp set was stamped with Memento Black Ink above the presents. It was cut with the Nested Label Die and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Three of the smaller leaves from Stitched Leaves Dies were cut from Brushed Metallic Paper, then tucked under the label with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- A trio of Champagne Rhinestones were added to the bow on the packages.

Saturday Blog Hop – Whimsical Christmas

Happy Saturday! This week’s blog hop theme is “Whimsical Christmas”! Of course…one of the “funnest” whimsical stamp sets in the August-December Mini Catalog is Warm & Toasty! I love this polar bear!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Misty Moonlight cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Whisper White cardstock was stamped with the greeting in the lower right corner with Misty Moonlight Ink.
The 3 x 4 piece of snowflake print in Trimming the Town Designer Paper was adhered along the left side.
A 3/4 x 4 piece of red swirl print in Trimming the Town Designer Paper was adhered across the front.
The polar bear was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Whisper White cardstock and colored with Misty Moonlight, Real Red, Light Seaside Spray and Light Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends, then hand-cut and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Two red All The Trimmings embellishments were added to the bottom left.

Hi everyone! It’s Thursday and time for the Create with Connie and Mary Sketch Challenge! I decided to use the darling Warm & Toasty Stamp Set again!

Here’s what I did…isn’t that little deer SOOO cute?

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Just Jade cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
A 2-1/2 x 5 Snowflake Splendor Designer Paper is added to the center.
The largest Stitched Shaped Circle is cut from Whisper White cardstock, then embossed with the Winter Snow Embossing Folder. It is added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A 1/2 x 3-3/4 strip of Crumb Cake cardstock was added across the front.
The deer from Warm & Toasty Stamp Set was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Whisper White cardstock, colored with Crumb Cake Combo and Just Jade Combo Stampin’ Blends, then hand-cut and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The greeting was stamped with Memento Black Ink on 1/2 x 2 piece of Whisper White cardstock and the end cut on the end. It was added with a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional.
A trio of Holiday Rhinestones was added to the background.

Maui Achievers Blog Hop – November 2020

Our Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip Achievers get together each month for a Blog Hop! I’m blessed with great customers and downline who helped me achieve both Maui trips that will be held in May 2021 (hopefully!) November’s blog hop theme is ANYTHING CURRENT!

SNOW WONDER

I love the snowman in Snow Wonder stamp set…he is so realistic looking! I know I’ll be keeping this set in my collection! I found these 4 x 4 galvanized metal ornaments and decided to reinvent them by covering the front with designer paper and stamping! I made up several for a pillow gift for my friends at a recent stamping retreat!

I stamped the back with my name so they could remember who gave it to them in years to come. I love seeing all my hand-made ornaments when I pull them out of the box each year!

Stampin’ Details:

The galvanized metal ornament base is 4×4 and I covered it with the snowflake print in Snowflake Splendor Designer Paper. I sanded the DSP around the edges and rounded the corners.
A 2 x 4 piece of Whisper White was cut with the snow bank curve die in the Freezin’ Friends Dies, then adhered to the bottom.
The trees from Snow Wonder stamp set were stamped with Just Jade Ink on Whisper White and cut with the Snow Time Dies. The white areas covered with Wink of Stella.
The snowman from Snow Wonder stamp set was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Whisper White cardstock, then colored with Real Red, Just Jade, Light Basic Black and Light Pool Party Stampin’ Blends. Some Wink of Stella was added to him, too.
The trees and snowman were popped on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Season’s Greetings from Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Real Red cardstock, then punched with the Classic Label Punch.
Some Linen Thread was added to the back of the Label greeting and around the snowman’s arms as if he were holding a sign. The label was added to the front of the snowman with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A trio of Snowflake Adhesive-Backed Embellishments were added to the background.

I think anyone getting this ornament would love it! I can’t wait to add it to my snowman Christmas tree!

IM150 – Coming Home

Happy Monday! It’s time for our Create with Connie and Mary Inspiration Monday challenge! Isn’t this a peaceful winter mantle or table theme?

Coming Home

I knew right away that I wanted to use the Coming Home Bundle on my card and do mostly a tone-on-tone white look.

Stampin’ Details:

- The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Thick Whisper White cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
- The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Whisper White cardstock was embossed with the Winter Snow Embossing Folder.
- The tree line from Home Together Dies was cut from Whisper White cardstock and added to the front.
- A second smaller curvy line was cut from Whisper White and stamped with the Heartfelt Christmas greeting from A Merry Hello (Hostess) in Shaded Spruce Ink. It was added to the front.
- The tall house and small house were stamped with Gray Granite Ink on Whisper White cardstock, then cut with the Home Together Dies. They were added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The evergreen was cut from Shaded Spruce Ink, sponged with White Craft Ink and added to the front.
- A Star Designer Element was added to the top of the tree.

Saturday Blog Hop – Christmas Flowers

Happy Saturday! This week’s blog hop theme is “Christmas Flowers”! So many pretty flowers for Christmas…of course, Poinsettias being one of them! I love the red ones, but white is my next favorite!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Soft Sea Foam cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded to form base card.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Shimmer White paper was sponged with Frost White Shimmer Paint, then added to the base when dry.
The leaves from the Poinsettia Dies were cut from Soft Sea Foam cardstock. The Poinsettia petals from Very Vanilla cardstock and adhered together.
The stems were cut from Whisper White and Wink of Stella added for some sparkle.
The Beaded Pearls embellishment was added to the center.
Merry Christmas was stamped with Memento Black Ink on a 3/4 x 4 piece of Soft Sea Foam cardstock, then tucked under the flower.
