Club and Downline Gifts – Medium Daisy

Every year I try to think of something that my Club Members and Downline would like for Christmas. I appreciate them SO much and they are the lifeline of my business! This year I had some Tipsy Tombow Glue Holders made (Etsy here) and filled them with the Tombow Glue from Stampin’ Up! Of course, they had to be decorated, right? I keep mine on my desk all the time, so it has to be pretty! I made mine in Crushed Curry to match my studio, but these I did in reds for a more Christmas look.

I’ve heard from most of the people I’ve sent them to and they really liked them! I decorated the front with Poppy Parade/Real Red Medium Daisy Punches and a Gold Faceted Gem in the center. The leaves are Granny Apple Green with Garden Green leaves stamped on them and punched with the Trio Leaf Punch.

Saturday Blog Hop – Favorite Occasions Stamp Set

Happy Saturday! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas! It goes by quickly, doesn’t it? We still have one more Christmas celebration with my oldest son’s family next Saturday because they were out of town this year! So, ours is an extended holiday!

But, the Occasions Catalog is coming soon (January 3 is the first day to order!), so this week’s Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop is showcasing our “Favorite Occasions Stamp Set”!

DRESSED TO IMPRESS

I’ll be honest…there are WAY more than just one of my favorites in the new Occasions Catalog! But, I went with the one that caught my eye first! It’s called Dressed to Impress! I love the lipstick, shoes and perfume in it AND the stamp set has matching dies, plus extras like this little label!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Lovely Lipstick cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Whisper White is embossed with the Tufted Embossing Folder.
A 1 x 5-1/4 strip of Best Dressed Designer Paper across the bottom.
The perfume bottle was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Purple Posy cardstock and colored with Wink of Stella. It was cut with the die and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The roses were stamped with Memento Black Ink on Whisper White cardstock and colored with the Lovely Lipstick and Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends. It was cut with the dies and added on front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Hello Fabulous is stamped with Lovely Lipstick Ink on Whisper White cardstock and cut with the label die, then added on front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A trio of Peaceful Poppies Sequins were added on front.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, everyone!!! Our Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip Achievers get together each month for a Blog Hop! I’m blessed with great customers and downline who helped me achieve this year’s Maui trip! This month’s blog hop theme is ANYTHING CURRENT! Since Christmas is SO close and I’m done sending holiday cards for this year, I decided to move onto the upcoming holiday…Valentine’s Day! This gives you a SNEAK PEAK of an upcoming Occasions Catalog From My Heart Suite of products!

HEARTFELT BUNDLE

I absolutely LOVE this package of Designer Paper…lots of hearts and stripes with foil accents AND some punchable hearts, too! Better grab it early as I feel it will be VERY popular! I’ve used three of the designs on here with a little stamping!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Thick Whisper White, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
On top is a 3-3/4 x 5 piece of From My Heart Specialty Designer Series Paper.
Across towards the bottom is a 1/2 x 4-1/4 strip of Real Red cardstock.
A 1-1/4 x 2-1/2 piece of striped From My Heart DSP was added to a 2-1/2 x 3-1/4 piece of Whisper White.
The Love You Lots greeting from Heartfelt Stamp Set was stamped with Memento Black Ink in the lower right corner. This piece was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
One of the printed hearts from the From My Heart DSP was punched with the Scallop Heart Punch Pack and stamped the small heart with Real Red Ink on the inside. It is popped up on the Front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A From My Heart Faceted Gem was added to the punched heart for a little bling!

IM103 – So Many Stars

Happy Monday! It’s time for our Create with Connie and Mary Inspiration Monday challenge! This week’s inspiration is a beautiful garland of gold and red ornaments!

I decided to use the colors for inspiration and the hanging star for my card. The Gold Glitter Enamel Dots made perfect “beads”.

Stampin’ Details:

- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Thick Very Vanilla cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- On top, the 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Crumb Cake was embossed with the Beads & Baubles Embossing Folder.
- The stars were cut with the Stitched Stars Dies…the largest from Soft Suede cardstock, the medium one from Gold Foil Paper and the center star from Gold Glimmer Paper. They were adhered together and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- A big red bow was made from the Real Red 1″ Ruched Ribbon and added to the top of the star with Mini Glue Dots.
- The beaded string was made from a row of Gold Glitter Enamel Dots.
- Peace from So Many Stars was stamped with Delicata Golden Glitz Ink (now out of stock) and hand-cut, then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Saturday Blog Hop – Walking in a Winter Wonderland

Happy Saturday! It’s time for another Saturday Blog Hop and we have been inspired by Christmas Carols over the past few weeks! Our fourth Christmas Carol theme is “Walking in a Winter Wonderland”…cards that have a winter theme. I love this song!

SNOW FRONT

One thing I love seeing in the winter are cardinals. We have a lot of them in the woods behind our house. Love the pop of red against the white snow! I always feel it is my grandmother visiting! And, since I’ve sent out my Christmas Cards already, I made this one a winter birthday card. There’s a sneak peek of a new Occasions stamp set that I’m SUPER excited about…do you see it? I also went out of the norm and made a square card!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/2 x 9 Seaside Spray cardstock, scored at 4-1/2 and folded to form a square card.
A 1-1/2 x 4-1/2 piece of the polka dot print from Come to Gather Designer Paper was added vertically along the left side, then a 2-1/4 x 4-1/2 piece of the woodgrain print from Come to Gather Designer Paper was added horizontally.
The tree from Snow Front was stamped with Early Espresso Ink on Whisper White cardstock, then cut with the largest Stitched Shape Oval.
Two cardinals from Snow Front were stamped with Real Red on scrap Whisper White cardstock, hand-cut and added to the tree.
The ground was stamped with Seaside Spray Ink and the snowman with Smoky Slate Ink. The oval was popped up on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Happy Birthday from Label Me Bold (new Occasions stamp set) was stamped with Real Red on Whisper White, then hand-cut and added to the front with a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional.

CCMC592 – Christmastime is Here

Merry Christmas! I hope you have a wonderful holiday season filled with family, friends, and lots of great food! We will have lots of family around, except this is the year our oldest son and his family visit her side in Wisconsin…so we will miss them! But, we will celebrate with them a week later. Safe travels everyone!

This week’s Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge is a fun sketch! It will run for TWO WEEKS so our team can enjoy the holidays AND so we can convert over to the new Occasions catalog! I liked this sketch a lot and will definitely be using it again…probably SOON! lol!

CHRISTMASTIME IS HERE SUITE

If you haven’t grabbed this suite of products yet, hurry! It is only available while supplies last! I’ve used just the Designer Paper a lot…it has beautiful rose images you can cut out and the Gold Glitter Enamel Dots just sparkle! I’m a fan!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Cherry Cobbler cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Mossy Meadow cardstock is embossed with the Stylish Scrolls Embossing Folder.
The square was cut from Whisper White with the Layering Squares Dies and stamped with the Christmas Rose greeting in Cherry Cobbler Ink in the upper right corner.
It is layered on a larger scallop square cut from Cherry Cobbler cardstock with the Layering Squares Die and adhered to the front of the card.
A 1 x 3-3/4 strip of Christmastime is Here Designer Paper was added across the square, then a 3/8 x 4-1/2 strip of Gold Glimmer Paper was added on top.
The trio of roses were cut from the Christmastime is Here DSP and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Two Gold Glitter Enamel Dots were added to the Whisper White.

Saturday Blog Hop – O Christmas Tree

Happy Saturday! It’s time for another Saturday Blog Hop, and we will be inspired by Christmas songs over the next few weeks! Our third Christmas Carol is “O Christmas Tree”…cards that have Christmas trees on them. Stampin’ Up! has a variety of different stamps with trees, so it will be interesting to see what everyone uses!

PERFECTLY PLAID & PINE TREE PUNCH

I haven’t used my Perfectly Plaid stamp set much at all, but I love the Pine Tree Punch! That is all that I used on this card, too, along with the greeting! And, although it looks like I just punched a trio of the plaid trees, the Wrapped in Plaid Designer Paper is actually UNDER the Real Red and the Real Red cardstock is punched! I also wondered what I could use for the tops of the trees…they looked a little plain, so I pulled out the metallic Designer Elements and used the Gold ones…perfect! The design on them actually looks like a starburst and the gold pulls out the gold metallic in the designer paper! Score!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Crumb Cake cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
The 2-3/4 x 5-1/4 panel of Real Red cardstock is punched three times with the Pine Tree Punch. TIP: Punch out three trees from scrap paper and temporarily adhere them on the Real Red to line them up evenly. Punch using the scrap trees as a template.
The 2-1/2 x 5-1/5 piece of green plaid Wrapped in Plaid Designer Paper is added under the Real Red with Stampin’ Dimensionals. It is placed on the front of the Crumb Cake.
The greeting was stamped with Real Red Ink.
The trio of Designer Elements were added to the top of the trees.
A piece of Linen Thread was tied in a bow and added under the center tree Element with a Mini Glue Dot.

CCMC591 – So Many Stars

It’s Thursday and you know what that means! Time for a Create with Connie and Mary challenge! It’s a popular color combination this year…featured in the Brightly Gleaming Designer Paper (sorry, it is sold out for the season!) But, you see these colors all over in holiday decorating!

I decided to use the So Many Stars Bundle on my card…I love those stitched stars in so many shapes and sizes!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Thick Very Vanilla, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 2 x 5-1/2 strip of Brightly Gleaming star print DSP was added to the right side.
A 3/4 x 5 piece of striped Brightly Gleaming DSP was added under a 2-3/4 x 4-1/2 panel of Very Vanilla cardstock.
The O Holy Night greeting in So Many Stars stamp set was stamped at the top with Night of Navy Ink.
The large star was stamped with Mossy Meadow Ink on scrap Very Vanilla cardstock and cut out with the coordinating Stitched Star.
A smaller filigree star was cut from Pretty Peacock cardstock and a tiny star from Copper Foil.
The medium sold Stitched Star was cut from Mossy Meadow cardstock. All were assembled and added to the Very Vanilla panel, which was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The Copper Star Element was added to the center of the Pretty Peacock star and a trio of Night of Navy Holiday Rhinestones were added in the background!
