IM96 – Peaceful Boughs

Happy Monday! It’s time for our Create with Connie and Mary Inspiration Monday challenge! Here’s a beautifully decorated cake to inspire you this week!

I think it could lean towards either fall or Christmas, so I went with Christmas and used my NEW Peaceful Boughs Bundle!

Stampin’ Details:

- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Thick Whisper Whitecardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- On top is a 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Whisper White, added to the base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The largest bough from Beautiful Boughs Dies was cut from Shaded Spruce and the trio of boughs from Mint Macaron, along with the single bough from Mint Macaron. They were added to the front with Monoadhesive Glue.
- The large and small pinecones were stamped with Soft Suede on Whisper White and cut with the Beautiful Boughs Dies, then added to the boughs with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The greeting was stamped with Delicata Golden Glitz Ink on Whisper White cardstock and cut with the smaller label Beautiful Boughs Die.
- Linen Thread was threaded thru the hole in the left side of the label and tied into a bow.
- A trio of Holiday Rhinestone Jewels were added to the background.

Saturday Blog Hop – Favorite Holiday Designer Paper

Happy Saturday! It’s time for another Saturday Blog Hop! This week we are showing off our “Favorite Holiday Catalog Designer Paper! Of course…by far my favorite is the Let it Snow Specialty Designer Paper. I love the vibrant colors and the snowflakes in some of the patterns! PLUS it has a variety of stripes…my favorites, too! I matched it up with #ELFIE this week!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Real Red cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Whisper White is embossed with the Subtles Embossing Folder.
A 1-1/4 x 5 strip of the stripe DSP in Let it Snow DSP package was added towards the bottom.
A 1 x 4-1/4 strip of the snowflake pattern was added on top towards the left side.
The next to largest Stitched Shapes Circle was cut from Coastal Cabana cardstock and stamped with the snowflake image from #Elfie stamp set with Coastal Cabana Ink. It was added to the front wiht Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A 1/2 x 2-1/2 piece of the red snowflake print was added towards the bottom of the circle.
The elf was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Whisper White cardstock and colored with Light & Dark Real Red, Light and Dark Call Me Clover, Ivory, and Light Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends. It was hand cut and added to the circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A trio of Red Glimmer Dots were added on front!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! It’s Beggar’s Night here in town…we won’t get any trick-or-treaters, so will go over to my son’s house to see the kids’ costumes!

Over on Create with Connie and Mary, we have a seasonal appropriate color challenge for you today…definitely Halloween colors…for our Create with Connie and Mary weekly Thursday Challenge! Come play along!

I did an easy fun-fold card using Stampin’ Up!’s Everything Festive greeting stamp set and Monster Bash Designer Paper!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Terracotta Tile cardstock, scored at 2-3/4 and 5-1/2.
On the front panel, a 2-1/2 x 4 piece of Monster Bash Designer Paper was added.
The 2-1/4 x 3-1/2 Stitched Rectangle was cut from Whisper White cardstock and stamped with the “No Tricks, Just Treats” greeting in Memento Black Ink. The Treats letters were outline with Pumpkin Pie Dark Stampin’ Blends.
Some Monster Bash Enamel Shapes were added to the spider web and the background.
It was layered on a 2-1/2 x 3-3/4 layer of Basic Black cardstock. It was attached to the front panel on the left side only.
The skeleton frame was hand-cut from the Monster Bash DSP and popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Inside the 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Whisper White was added to the background.
The 2-3/4 x 4 piece of bat Monster Bash DSP was added to the center.
The Skeleton/Pumpkin frame was hand-cut from the DSP and popped up in the center with Stampin’ Dimensionals!

IM95 – Black Cat

Happy Monday! It’s time for our Create with Connie and Mary Inspiration Monday challenge! We have fabulous black cat cookies for our inspiration today! Just in time for Halloween!

Of course, I had to use our Cat Punch for my card and gave it an up-to-date spooky background with Stylish Scrolls Embossing Folder!

Stampin’ Details:

- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Basic Gray cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic Gray cardstock was embossed with the Stylish Scrolls Embossing Folder, then Delicata Silvery Shimmer Ink rubbed across the raised areas.
- A 2-1/4 x 4-1/4 piece of Monster Bash Designer Paper was added towards the right side.
- The moon is a 2″ circle punched from Crushed Curry cardstock and sponged around the edges with Pumpkin Pie Ink. It was added to the front.
- A 12 x 4 piece of Pumpkin Pie cardstock was added across the front.
- The cat was punched from Basic Black cardstock and added in front of the moon. Two gold Holiday Rhinestone Jewels were added for the eyes. It is popped up on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The Come to Gather Twine was tied in a bow and added to the neck of the cat with a Mini Glue Dot.
- Trick or Tweet from Itty Bitty Greetings was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Whisper White and punched with the Classic Label Punch (shortened) and added to the front.

Saturday Blog Hop – Halloween Favor

Happy Saturday! It’s time for another Saturday Blog Hop! So far the past few weeks, we’ve done Cute Halloween cards, Spooky Halloween Cards and now we are doing Halloween Favors! You still have a few days until Halloween, so get those craft supplies out!

The candy bar is revealed by pulling up on the bow of the ribbon!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 3-1/4 x 7 Basic Black cardstock, scored at 1/2, 1, 2-1/4 and 2-3/4.
The bat Monster Bash DSP is cut 1 x 3 and adhered on the top of the box portio
1/4″ holes are punched on the front panel and back panel
Tear & Tape is applied to the tab end of the Basic Black, then folded around to form a box (the top and bottom are open).
The 2-3/4 x 3 Whisper White panel is stamped with the cobweb from Wonderfully Wicked with Gray Granite Ink, the “Have a” and “Good Time” greetings with Memento Black Ink. It is adhered to the Basic Black panel.
Wicked is stamped with Pumpkin Pie Ink on Whisper White, then cut with the Ornate Frames die.
The Ornante Frame is cut from Pumpkin Pie, and the greeting layered on top.
The cat from Wonderfully Wicked is stamped with Memento Black Ink on scrap Whisper White, hand-cut, and added to the Wicked Greeting with Mini Glue Dots.
Some Linen Thread is tied in a bow and added to the neck of the cat with a Mini Glue dot.
Wicked is adhere to the top of the box portion with Stampin’ Dimensionals only on the left side.
The raven from Monster Bash Enamel Shapes was added to the top of the W.
The Black Glitter Ribbon is fed thru both holes, then the Hershey bar placed inside the ends. Push the ribbon and candy bar down thru the box and then tie a bow with the ribbon at the top.

CCMC584 – Free Skate

Happy Thursday! Wow…another week has gone by…where does time go so fast? At Create with Connie and Mary, we have a fun sketch for you to try!

I decided to use a stamp set that hasn’t been inked yet, Free Skate! I love those ice skates!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Thick Whisper White cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
On top the 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Seaside Spray was stamped with the snowflake image in Seaside Spray Ink in the upper left and bottom right corners.
A large Stitched Shape Circle was cut from the Feels Like Frost Designer Paper polka dot pattern and added to the front.
A 1/2 x 5 strip of the silver stripe Feels Like Frost DSP was added across the front towards the bottom.
The skates were stamped with Seaside Spray Ink on Whisper White cardstock and cut with the Detailed Skates Dies. The laces and the base of the skates were colored with the Light Seaside Spray Blends Marker. They were placed on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The blades of the skates were cut from Silver Foil and adhered over the stamped ones.
The bow was cut from Seaside Spray cardstock with the Detailed Skates Die and trimmed to a shorter length, then added to the top of the skates.
A Rhinestone Jewel is in the center of the bow.
The holly images were stamped with Memento Black Ink and colored with Light & Dark Call Me Clover and Dark Real Red Stampin’ Blends. They were cut with the dies and added to the front.
The greeting from Free Skate stamp set was stamped with Memento Black Ink in the background.

IM94 – Gather Together

Happy Monday! It’s time for our Create with Connie and Mary Inspiration Monday challenge! We have gorgeous hand-crafted necklace for our inspiration today!

I have to say…I’ve used the Gather Together suite of products a LOT this season! It creates such beautiful cards! When I saw the leaf in the necklace, I knew I’d use it again. BUT…I also remembered making ribbon roses and wanted to recreate one of those! I LOVE how this card turned out. I spied some copper tones in with the gold, so I pulled out the copper for my card and used the Brightly Gleaming Designer Paper to get me started!

Stampin’ Details:

- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Pretty Peacock cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- On top is a 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Very Vanilla cardstock.
- A 3 x 4 piece of Brightly Gleaming DSP is added on top.
- To make the ribbon flower, I used a 2-1/4″ Circle Punch from Very Vanilla cardstock for my base and covered it with Tear & Tape. I started in the center and twisted the Mint Macaron 1/4 Textile Ribbon around in circles until the circle was completely covered. The tail is adhered on the back.
- In the center, I punched the Medium Daisy punch from Copper Foil Paper, then punched it again with a 1″ Circle to make it smaller. A large clear Faceted Gem is in the center. Two Mini Dimensionals were stacked on top of each other and added to the center of the ribbon flower. It was added to the front of the card.
- The large leaf in Gather Together was stamped twice with Delicata Celestial Copper Ink on Mint Macaron cardstock, then cut with the Gathered Leaves Die. They were tucked under the ribbon rose on the front.
- Two embossed leaves were cut rom Copper Foil and tucked around the ribbon rose.
- Season of Thanks was stamped with Delicata Celestial Copper Ink towards the bottom.

This card is absolutely STUNNING in real life, if I must say so myself! I’m so happy it turned out like I had created in my head! OK, make sure to check out what Mary did with this challenge over on Create with Connie and Mary!

Saturday Blog Hop – Spooky Halloween

Happy Saturday! It’s time for another Saturday Blog Hop! Last week we made “cute” Halloween cards, this week our Create with Connie and Mary theme is “Spooky Halloween Cards!” I knew I wanted to use my “Wicked” dies…and spiders are really spooky, right?

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Pumpkin Pie cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded to form base card.
A 3-7/8 x 5-1/8 piece of Basic Black is added as a layer.
A 3-3/4 x 5 piece of spider web Monster Bash Designer Paper is added on top…I’ve been hoarding that pattern…love it!
Wicked was cut from both Pumpkin Pie and Basic Black cardstock, then adhered together with a “shadow” effect, then added to the front of the card.
Good time from Wonderfully Wicked stamp set was stamped with Memento Black Ink was stamped on 1/2 x 2-1/4 piece of Pumpkin Pie cardstock. It was cut on an angle on the right side and added to the card base.
I mixed Clear Embossing Powder with Dazzling Diamonds Stampin’ Glitter and then covered the Basic Black spiders cut with the Wicked Dies. Heat set.
The Pumpkin Pie spider was cut with the Wicked Die, then a black Monster Bash Enamel Dot added to the center.
All the spiders were popped up with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals (don’t you LOVE them???)
