Time for our monthly Greek Isles Achievers Blog Hop! The theme again for this month is products from the Occasions and Sale-A-Bration catalogs! PAINTED SEASONS

I decided to use the FREE Sale-A-Bration Stampin’ Up! Painted Seasons stamp set on my card in a little different way! I love the pinecone stamp, and thought they would look great “painted” in a variety of bright Spring colors! What do you think? Isn’t this a fun birthday card to brighten someone’s day?

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Call Me Clover cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
On the 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Whisper White, the evergreen branches from Painted Seasons stamp set are stamped and stamped off with Call Me Clover Ink in the upper right and lower left corners.
The pinecones were stamped with Lemon Lime Twist, Poppy Parade and Grapefruit Grove Inks on scrap Whisper White and cut with the Four Seasons Framelits (available as a purchase item to coordinate with the stamp set!). They were arranged on the evergreen branches with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Wishes from Well Said Stamp Set was stamped in the center with Memento Black Ink.
Birthday from Well Written Framelits was cut from Basic Black cardstock.

It’s Monday and time for another Inspiration Monday on Create with Connie and Mary! I love glass fusing…this one is so pretty with the blues and greens! It reminded me of the stems in the Well Written Framelits I just purchased!

WELL SAID BUNDLE

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Bermuda Bay cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
On top is a 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Whisper White cardstock
The stem images from Well Written Framelits were cut from Bermuda Bay, Balmy Blue, Granny Apple Green and Blueberry Bushel…don’t they complement each other? They were adhered with Tombow Multipurpose Glue to the front of the Whisper White cardstock.
The Bermuda Bay striped written was wrapped around to the back and adhered.
The small Stitched Rectangle shape was cut from Whisper White cardstock and stamped with Make Me Smile from Well Said Stamp Set in Bermuda Bay Ink. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
You from Well Written Framelits was cut from Basic Black cardstock and added above the greeting.
The bluebird is also from Well Written Framelits and cut from Blueberry Bushel cardstock and added with a Stampin’ Dimensional.

Saturday Blog Hop – Stamps Ink Paper Only

Happy Saturday! For our Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop, we designed Cards that use Stamps, Ink and Paper only! No Big Shot, no punches, no bling. I find these challenges SO hard because I like to keep adding to mine…simple just doesn’t look finished! lol! I used the sweet stamp set, Best Bunny, for my simple stamping card!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Petal Pink cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
On top is a 3-3/4 x 5 layer of Whisper White cardstock.
The Best Bunny body, head and face were stamped in the lower right corner of the Whisper White with Memento Black Ink. She was watercolored with Smoky Slate Ink and ears and cheeks with Petal Pink.
The grass was stamped with Mint Macaron Ink.
The arms were stamped on scrap Whisper White with Memento Black Ink, colored with Smoky Slate and hand-cut, then added to the body.
The bow was stamped with Memento Black Ink on scrap Petal Pink cardstock, hand cut and added to the ears with a Mini Glue Dot.
The greeting in Best Bunny stamp set was stamped with Memento Black Ink.

Hello Thursday!!! Happy Valentine’s Day!!! It’s time for a Create with Connie and Mary Challenge! This time a FUN sketch for you to try. I know…my card isn’t for Valentine’s Day…I’ve already moved on to the next holiday! lol!

AMAZING LIFE

I don’t really have a LOT of need for St. Patrick’s Day cards, but my oldest grandson likes to get “happy mail”! I thought I’d make up a few for the grands this year. Plus, I do love the “Good Luck” greeting in this Amazing Life stamp set…it’s not just for St. Patrick’s Day! Always good to send out a little encouragement now and then.

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Thick Whisper White cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
The Garden Green polka dot pattern in Regals 6×6 Designer Paper is cut to 2-3/4 x 5.
The Garden Green striped pattern in Regals 6×6 DSP is cut to 1-3/4 x 4-1/4.
A 3/8 x 3-1/2 strip of Basic Black cardstock was added across the front.
Good Luck from Amazing Life is stamped with Memento Black on a Stitched Shapes Oval and watercolored with Garden Green Stampin’ Write Marker and AquaPainter with a gradated Ombre look. It is popped up on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The four-leaf clovers, also from Amazing Life stamp set, were stamped with Memento Black on scrap Whisper White cardstock, watercolored with Garden Green Marker and hand-cut, then added around the oval with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Three Rhinestones were colored with the Dark Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends. (Who else wishes we had the Stampin’ Blends in EVERY color????)

By the Bay

The house overlooking the water Sale-A-Bration stamp set, By the Bay, really appeals to me. Maybe because I’ve always wanted to live by the water. It just looks so appealing! I went with a “simple stamping” type card…nothing but stamps, inks and paper. This set just seems to inspire that style!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Crumb Cake cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
On top is a 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Soft Suede cardstock.
The By the Bay image was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Whisper White, then colored with Stampin’ Blends in Old Olive, Soft Suede, Smoky Slate, Cherry Cobbler, Pool Party and Daffodil Delight. You could use any coloring medium you have!
The greeting in By the Bay was stamped with Memento Black Ink.

IM58 – Meant to Be

It’s Monday and time for another Inspiration Monday on Create with Connie and Mary! LOVE these lacy heart cookies! SO sweet looking and I bet they taste good, too! I’ve eliminated sugar from my diet for the past few months, so I can only imagine!

MEANT TO BE

I love the Be Mine Stitched Framelits and used a couple of them on here, along with the greeting from Meant to Be! Don’t you love these non-traditional heart colors? This would make a great Anniversary card!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Thick Whisper White cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
The 3-3/4 x 5 piece of How Sweet It Is Designer Paper is added to a 3-7/8 x 5-1/8 piece of Coastal Cabana cardstock, then adhered to the front of the card.
Two Be Mine Stitched small scallop hearts were cut from Coastal Cabana and one from Daffodil Delight cardstock and added to the front of a 1-1/2 x 4-1/2 piece of Whisper White cardstock with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
One bow was cut from Whisper White and added to the Daffodil Delight scallop heart, then a Glitter Dot added in the center.
Two Be Mine Scallop Stitched edge pieces of Daffodil Delight were added under the Whisper White, then that piece adhered to the base card.
A 1/8 x 5-1/2 strip of Daffodil Delight was adhered across the front.
The Meant to Be greeting was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Whisper White and cut with the Stitched Label, then added on top of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Saturday Blog Hop – Unique Fold Cards

Happy Saturday! On our Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop we designed Cards with Unique Folds! I always think that cards with unique folds are so special and are a little surprise in an envelope! Even better when one contains a gift card holder like this one! I knew I wanted it to be a birthday card…we have several coming up this month!

The card makes an easel to stand up easily and the Broadway Bound Designer Paper is so bright and cheerful!

Stampin’ Details:

Cut Lemon Lime Twist to 4-1/4 x 11, score at 2-3/4 and 5-1/2 and fold to form base card.
Cut another Lemon Lime Twist cardstock to 3-1/2 x 9, score at 4-1/2 and fold. Adhere to inside top panel of larger Lemon Lime Twist card base.
Cut TWO 3-1/4 x 4-1/4 panes of Whisper White cardstock.
On first WW panel, stamp greeting at the top towards right side.
Adhere one of TWO 1 x 3-1/4 pieces of Broadway Bound striped DSP across front.
Stamp the birthday hat with Memento Black Ink on scrap Whisper White, color with Granny Apple Green, Lovely Lipstick and Smoky Slate Blends. Hand-cut and adhere on front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Add Melon Mambo Glitter Enamel Dot to hat.
On smaller panel of base card, add 2-1/2 x 4 piece of Broadway Bound party hats DSP.
Stamp For Your Birthday on scrap Gray Granite cardstock, punch with 1-3/8 Scallop Circle Punch and layer on 1-1/2 Circle Punch of Lovely Lipstick cardstock. Add a Stampin’ Dimensional at the bottom on the back, then add to smaller panel at the bottom.
Cut row of birthday presents from 2-1/2 x 4-1/2 piece of Basic Black cardstock. Adhere inside base card.
Punch 1-1/2 circle HALF from top of 3-1/4 x 4-1/4 piece of Broadway Bound party hats DSP. Adhere to inside top panel on three sides, leaving top open for gift card.
On second WW panel, stamp greeting from Birthday Cheer with Memento Black Ink towards top. Add second 1 x 3-1/4 Broadway Bound striped DSP. Adhere panel to bottom of shorter panel inside.
Stamp Birthday Cheer present with Memento Black Ink on scrap WW, hand-cut and adhere to panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add green Glitter Enamel Dot to bow.

Isn’t that a FUN unique fold card? I love it and will be making up a BUNCH of these for birthdays this year! I’m excited to see what the rest of the Design Team did this week! Another Thursday has rolled around…at least this week is warmer than last week when we had subzero temps! What a winter so far! This week we have a pretty color combination for our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary Challenge!

SWEETEST THING

Actually, the only thing stamped on here is the greeting from Sweetest Thing, the gumball machine is cut from the How Sweet It Is designer paper…wish they had a gumball machine stamp in that set!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Melon Mambo cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Whisper White cardstock was embossed with the Dot to Dot Embossing Folder and added on top.
A 1/2 x 5-1/4 piece of How Sweet It Is DSP was added to the left side.
Happy Birthday from Sweetest Thing was stamp with Memento Black Ink on a 3/4 x 3-1/4 piece of Coastal Cabana cardstock and the bottom left corner cut at an angle.
Some Pool Party/Silver Baker’s Twine was wrapped and added behind the cut out Gumball Machine, then added with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Glitter Enamel Dots were added to the bottom and one to the top of the Gumball Machine.
Wink of Stella was applied to the “glass” portion of the Gumball Machine for a little sparkle!
