Saturday Blog Hop – Halloween Favor

Happy Saturday! This week our Saturday Blog Hop theme is “Halloween Favor”! I love Stampin’ Up!’s 3 x 3 Acetate Boxes, so decided to use one of those for my project this week. They hold quite a bit, I fit 4 fun sized Hershey bars in here…could probably have 1-2 more!

Stampin’ Details:

Assemble the 3 x 3 Acetate Box.
The sleeve around it is is 2-3/4 x 9 and adhered in front. It will slide off so you can open the box.
The Metallic Mesh Ribbon was wrapped around on top of the DSP and tied in a knot.
The label is stamped with Memento Black Ink on Pretty Peacock cardstock and cut with the Halloween Magic Dies. It is added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The moon is cut from Bumblebee cardstock using the Stitched Shapes Circle and stamped with the Hallows Night Magic greeting in Memento Black Ink. It is popped up on the label with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The cobweb is cut from the Peek-a-Hoot Dies from Basic Black (I only used it because I had one cut out on my desk already!) It is tucked under the moon.
The spider from Hallows Night Magic was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic Gray and cut with the Halloween Magie Dies, then added on front with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The trio of bats were cut from Black Glimmer Paper and added to the moon with Mini Black Stampin’ Dimensionals. (I always forget we have these in black! Came in handy!)
A Iridescent Black Pearl was added to the boy of the spider.

IM145 – Arrange a Wreath

Happy Monday! It’s time for our Create with Connie and Mary Inspiration Monday challenge! Isn’t this a pretty candle ring? I love the fall colors.

Arrange a Wreath

I really didn’t anticipate that I’d use the Arrange a Wreath bundle as much as I have! I used it a couple weeks ago for a fall wreath, last week with my gnome wreath and again today! So many different looks with just one bundle! This one has gold flowers which just makes it pop!

Stampin’ Details:

- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Crumb Cake cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- On top is a 4 x 5-1/4 layer of In Good Taste Designer Paper.
- The Very Vanilla and Pumpkin Pie wreaths were cut with the Wreath Builder Dies, then intertwined together and added to the front with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Two flowers were cut with the Wreath Builder Dies from Brushed Gold Metallic Paper.
- Four leaves were stamped with Soft Suede Ink on Very Vanilla cardstock, cut out with the Wreath Builder Dies and added under the flowers.
- Some orange Adhesive Sequins were added to the centers of the flowers.
- The greeting from Arrange a Wreath was stamped with Soft Suede Ink on 3/4 x 2 piece of Pumpkin Pie cardstock, the end cut at an angle and tucked under the leaves.

Saturday Blog Hop – Cute Halloween

Happy Saturday! This week our Saturday Blog Hop theme is “Cute Halloween”! Stampin’ Up! has several stamp sets that could be used for Cute Halloween cards. My first thought was Have a Hoot, but I thought that might be popular with the rest of the Design Team, so I went with Harvest Hellos! I haven’t used that set AT ALL this season, but I love the pumpkin in it!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Pumpkin Pie cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Whisper White cardstock was embossed with the Dainty Diamonds Embossing folder.
A 1 x 4 piece of Plaid Tidings was added to the bottom of the Whisper White cardstock, then Bumblebee In Color Ribbon was wrapped around and tied in a knot. It was added to the front.
Happy Halloween was cut with the Word Wishes dies (my first time using them!) from Basic Gray cardstock and added to the front with Tombow Multipurpose Glue.
The pumpkin from Harvest Hellos was stamped with Pumpkin Pie Ink on Pumpkin Pie cardstock, then punched with the Apple Builder Punch. I colored the face some more with the Light Basic Black Stampin’ Blends. The stem was punched from Early Espresso cardstock.
The leaf from Harvest Hellos was stamped with Memento Black on Granny Apple Green cardstock, then hand cut.
The pumpkin and leaf were added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the stem adhered behind.

CCMC633 – Freezin’ Friends

Happy Thursday, everyone! Time for the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge. We have a fun sketch for you to try this week!

Here’s what I made with it…I pulled out my Freezin’ Friends stamp set and the Snowflake Splendor Designer Paper! Isn’t he cute?

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Balmy Blue cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
On top is a 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Whisper White cardstock.
The Snowflake Splendor DSP is 3-1/4 x 4-3/4 and added in the center.
A 1/2 x 4 piece of Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper is added on the left side.
A 3/8 x 4-1/4 strip of Pacific Point cardstock was added across.
The Tasteful Label was cut from Whisper White, stamped with Wheeee! in Pacific Point Ink and added to the right side with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The seal (is that what it is?) is stamped with Memento Black Ink, then masked and the iceberg stamped under him with Memento Black Ink. Remove the mask and color with Light Purple Posy and Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends for the body and iceberg and Light Balmy Blue and Light Misty Moonlight for his hat! Cheeks with Light Flirty Flamingo Blends. I hand cut (there is a die for them, but I combined the image) and added to the label with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A trio of Blue Adhesive Backed Gems were strategically added to snowflakes in the background and one on the cardstock strip.

Such a FUN set! I need to play with them some more! OK…go check out what the rest of the Challenge Team did over on Create with Connie and Mary! Some great ideas!

IM144 – Wreath Builder Gnome

Happy Monday! It’s time for our Create with Connie and Mary Inspiration Monday challenge! I’ve been lightly obsessed with gnomes the past year or so and have collected quite a few for different holidays! I love this Gnome wreath and I was really excited that Stampin’ Up! came out with the Gnome for the Holiday stamp set. However, I noticed that Mary got her card done before mine and she used that stamp set…so I remembered a couple punch art gnomes that I had made before. Perfect!

Wreath Builder Dies

The wreath builder dies worked perfectly again for this challenge and I copied the way I made the Fall Wreath a couple weeks ago by intertwining the Crumb Cake and Bermuda Bay wreaths, then adding in some sprigs of Whisper White that were cut apart from the second wreath.

Stampin’ Details:

- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Cherry Cobbler cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of In Good Taste woodgrain DSP was added to the background.
- A 1 x 4 piece of Plaid Tidings Designer Paper was added across the bottom. To get the colors I needed to go with the inspiration wreath, I colored the white areas of the Cherry Cobbler/White Plaid with my Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Blends.
- One leaf wreath was cut from Bermuda Bay cardstock and one sprig wreath from Crumb Cake cardstock using the Wreath Builder Dies and intertwined together. Then another sprig wreath was cut from Whisper White and cut apart, then tucked around the wreath randomly. I added it to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The gnome hat was punched with the Pine Tree Punch by coloring more of the Plaid Paper. Some Linen Thread was wrapped around the hat in a cross cross pattern.
- I wanted a longer beard, so I used the trees from the Snow Time Dies, cut from Whisper White cardstock, and just trimmed off the smaller tree, then added it under the Pine Tree hat.
- The nose is a 3/8″ Circle punched from Blushing Bride cardstock.
- The feet/boots are punched from Cherry Cobbler cardstock with the Perennial Flower punch. He was added to the wreath with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The bow and small flower from the Wreath Builder Dies were cut from Cherry Cobbler cardstock and added to the wreath and his hat.
- I used the label from the Snow Time Dies cut from Whisper White cardstock and stamped the greeting from Itty Bitty Christmas with Cherry Cobbler Ink.
- Some Blue Adhesive Backed Gems were added to the label and to the flower on his hat for a little sparkle.

SOOOO happy with how this turned out! I think I may need to find a gnome wreath for my door this year! OK…check out what Mary did with the Inspiration Monday Challenge over on Create with Connie and Mary!

CCMC632 – Autumn Goodness

Happy Thursday! Time for another Create with Connie and Mary Challenge…this time a pretty, fall color combination!

I’ve used Autumn Goodness (again!) on today’s card…the colors were perfect for coloring the floral image, although I did add a hint of yellow to represent the gold in the designer paper.

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Mint Macaron cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
On top is a 4 x 5-1/4 piece of Gilded Autumn Designer Paper, the metallics are SO pretty in this DSP!
The 3-1/4 x 4-1/4 piece of Early Espresso cardstock was added on a diagonal to the front.
The 3/4 x 4 piece of coordinating Gilded Autumn DSP was added across the front.
The rectangle was cut from Very Vanilla cardstock with the Stitched Rectangles Dies.
The floral bouquet was stamped up and down on the rectangle with Memento Black Ink and the greeting in the center with Cajun Craze Ink , then colored with Cajun Craze Combo, Mint Macaron Combo, Bronze and Dark Daffodil Delight Blends. It was added with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A trio of Champagne Rhinestones were added in the background for a little bling!

IM143 – Poinsettia Petals

Happy Monday! It’s time for our Create with Connie and Mary Inspiration Monday challenge! Isn’t this a pretty centerpiece? I love the colors! I wish we had a shade of pink like this…ours are definitely more coral. Remember Pretty in Pink?

Poinsettia Petals

Of course…what other set would I use for this Monday Inspiration Challenge? It has to be the Poinsettia Petals Bundle! This set is GORGEOUS…I love the embossed petals and leaves the most, so that is what I used. I made a full poinsettia by using two of the small and two of the medium sized poinsettia petals. The Brushed Copper embossed leaves and Brushed Gold sprigs really make it pop! In addition, a little Champagne Mist Shimmer adds a little sparkle to the poinsettia petals and background edge!

Stampin’ Details:

- The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Flirty Flamingo cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
- A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Soft Suede cardstock was added on top.
- The 3-3/4 x 5 layer of Whisper White cardstock was sponged around the edges with Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint.
- A 2 x 5 piece of Poinsettia Place Designer Paper was added across the front.
- Two small poinsettias and two medium poinsettias were embossed/cut from Flirty Flamingo cardstock with the Poinsettia Dies and Flirty Flamingo Ink was sponged in the centers.
- Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint was sponged on each of the petals and they were adhered together and the petals curled. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Two of the sprigs were cut from Brushed Gold Paper and three leaves were embossed/cut from Brushed Bronze Paper. They were tucked under the flower and adhered.
- Happy Holidays from Poinsettia Petals stamp set was stamped with Soft Suede Ink.
- The Beaded Pearl center was colored with the Bronze Stampin’ Blends Marker to change the silver to a Bronze color. It was adhered in the center with Tombow Multipurpose Glue.

Saturday Blog Hop – Bountiful Blessings

Happy Saturday! This week our Saturday Blog Hop theme is “Bountiful Blessings”! I really have SO much to be thankful for in my life and definitely have been blessed! So, it is with a grateful heart that I made this card.

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Crumb Cake cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
On top is a 3-3/4 x 5 layer of Blackberry Bliss cardstock, embossed with the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder.
Two strips of 1 x 5-1/2 Plaid Tidings Designer Paper were added to the left side.
The Crumb Cake cardstock was cut with the Tasteful Labels Die, then stamped with the leaf from Banner Year in Crumb Cake Ink.
Three pumpkins from Banner Year were stamped with Pumpkin Pie Ink and the stems with Garden Green Ink on Whisper White cardstock, then hand-cut and added to the label with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The greeting from Banner Year was stamped with Garden Green Ink on Whisper White cardstock and cut with the Tasteful Label Die, then tucked under the pumpkins with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A Champagne Rhinestone was added to one of the pumpkins.
